26/06/2026: In response to the previous review: I acknowledge your response, but I believe a few clarifications are necessary. Hygiene is a must. This is precisely why sanitization should be performed at closing time, avoiding welcoming customers at breakfast time with a lingering smell of bleach. Regarding the coffee, I stand by my assessment. I personally witnessed the preparation: it was dispensed in a small cup tilted on top of another. A method that, as a customer, conveyed neither the care for the product nor the attention I would expect from a business offering coffee at that price. Finally, regarding the water, I still believe the problem was neither the service nor the cost. I simply asked for a drop of water, meaning the classic glass that accompanies coffee. The request instead turned into a surreal conversation, with repeated suggestions for tap water, concluding with, "Okay, let's make it 50 cents." It would have been enough to explain right away how the service worked. Nothing, however, justifies a customer relationship that I continue to find impolite and unprofessional. And this is precisely the reason for my review. A decidedly disappointing experience. This is a historic place I frequented since I was a little girl: I fondly remember the hot chocolates and granitas I'd had there in the afternoon. Precisely for this reason, the disappointment of returning today was even greater. I went in for breakfast and was immediately greeted by a strong smell of bleach, decidedly unpleasant for an early morning. I ordered a coffee and asked for a drop of water, meaning the classic glass that normally accompanies coffee. I was asked if I wanted tap water. I said no. I then asked if the glass was served with the coffee and was again offered tap water. Only at the end was I told, "Okay, let's make it 50 cents." A frankly surreal conversation. It's not about the cost of the water, but the fact that a completely ordinary request was handled unprofessionally and without the slightest courtesy toward the customer. If a customer asks for something, simply communicate how the service is performed. There's no need for assumptions or unnecessary insistence. To top it all off, a €1.40 coffee, prepared rather sloppily. More than the coffee, I'll remember the rude approach, the lingering smell of bleach, and the feeling of being faced with improvised service that wasn't attentive to the customer. What a shame. Because certain places are remembered fondly, and I'm sincerely sorry to say that returning here was a huge disappointment.

09/11/2025: The food was rather bland: pizza tasted like paper, burgers looked like plasticine. It tasted like nothing. The waiters were polite, but I had a really bad experience with the cashier, who messed up the bills, making everyone pay significantly more. The prices are way too high for a restaurant like this. I wouldn't recommend it.

31/05/2026: A nice cafe on the seventh floor. I was tired from shopping, so I decided to sit down and relax. I had a delicious hot chocolate with cream, though it was a bit heavy. Their menu is limited, and their prices are reasonable, but the problem is that it's noisy upstairs.

23/05/2026: I had a coffee at Bar De Santis at La Rinascente in Milan and the experience was surprisingly positive: the coffee was good and the staff was super friendly and attentive, a detail that really makes a difference in such a busy place. The homemade chocolate that accompanies the coffee and the water served with it complete the experience with a care that is by no means a given. Small gestures, but capable of elevating the break and leaving a pleasant impression.

17/12/2025: The atmosphere is nice and cute but I can’t say same for food. They shouldn’t put ingredients not described in the menu for people who has food allergy. There are peanuts in avo toast breakfast option and raisons in porridge which are not named in the menu. Also waitress wasn’t polite when we ask additional items.

06/12/2025: How do you say unpleasant in Italian? The waiter who sighs in boredom while setting down the plates, who grumbles loudly because children in the dining room are "making noise," smiles and says hello? Why bother? The pizzas are good, but that's about it.

01/12/2025: An “experience” to avoid. We booked with The Fork, a table for six, and it was listed as being for two. Annoyed, they sat us down anyway, even though the room was half empty, and it remained that way until the end of the evening. The phone kept ringing, and the few times they answered, they were rude, saying they were full. The table next to us, seated since 7:00 PM, was still only served water at 8:20 PM. At 8:30 PM, the waitress came out with a note asking for confirmation of the pizzas we'd ordered an hour and a half earlier. All the empty tables barely received their appetizers after 30-40 minutes. Annoyed, we decided to get up and leave. Meanwhile, another couple came in and immediately said, “Sorry, we're full!” without even asking who they were, and with the room half empty. The couple explained that they had made a reservation, and the annoyed waitress huffed and showed them to a seat. It felt like a hidden camera or a nightmare kitchen. Embarrassing.

26/06/2026: I must admit, I've never tried the pizza. However, the piadina with kebab is among the best I've ever had in Milan. The slight wait is well worth it. You won't be disappointed!

08/05/2026: I've eaten here many times, both for delivery and takeout, and they're the best at kebabs, and the pizza is also very good. The place is quiet, especially if you go at a time when there aren't many people. Perfect for eating with friends or even alone. I never write reviews, but for them I can. For me, they're the best!

03/12/2025: A must-try place. Classic American-style food, QUALITY. The burgers and hot dogs are delicious, and there's a good selection of beers to drink, my favorite. The strong point, however, is also the staff! Starting with Silvia and Alessandra, who run this war machine that is the place, especially at lunch and dinner—GREAT!—and continuing with Vicky, Marinella, Dalila, Angelina, and Beatrice! A special mention goes to the great Sylla, with a smile as big as his heart! What a great place!

04/12/2025: The place itself is good, the food is good (especially for one of those diners that offer lunch breaks for workers). The waiters are friendly, but one of the two owners is extremely rude, both to customers, who seem perpetually annoyed, and to the employees, whom he treats like servants. Sometimes even some waiters mistreat each other. I sense a toxic work environment among them, but otherwise it's okay, efficient service, and good food. Convenient if you're in the area for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs.

15/04/2026: I went to this "Greek" restaurant with my girlfriend to celebrate a major success. The reviews were positive and the photos looked nice, so we decided to give it a try. As soon as we entered, we immediately noticed that the place is rather dark, with dim, low lights hanging over each table, almost giving the impression of small terrariums. Furthermore, the tables were very close together, so much so that we could hear ourselves being part of our neighbors' conversations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. To begin with, we were surprised by the brevity of the menu, which offered only very basic dishes that were unrepresentative of Greek cuisine, apart from one unavailable dish and a €20 pita. We decided on fish with salsa verde as an appetizer and octopus as a main course. The appetizer was a rather meager portion and lacking in flavor, though decent. Unfortunately, the main course was much worse: a single octopus tentacle for €26, served lukewarm and with a rubbery, almost slimy consistency. After paying a rather hefty bill, around €100 (including two small glasses of white wine for €13 each, off-menu), my girlfriend even felt sick to her stomach. The only positive note is the friendly and cheerful staff. For the same amount of money, I'd recommend taking a short trip to Greece and enjoying authentic, high-quality local dishes, which are evidently lacking here.
