The warm welcome of Ugo and his wife, along with Elena, is the heart of the restaurant: they make you feel instantly at home, like family. Here's what you need to know to plan your visit: The cuisine: The menu is a celebration of typical Lombard dishes. The tripe is exceptional, the cassoeula is expertly prepared, and the risotto with ossobuco is simply unmissable. The boiled meats and cotechino with lentils are also excellent, prepared according to tradition. The menu: During the week, you can enjoy a convenient and tasty buffet, including takeout (reservations are recommended), while on Saturdays, the menu expands to include a wide selection of traditional à la carte dishes. 22/07/2026: The owner is genuine, kind, and helpful, and truly cares about the products he stocks, which are always fresh and made to order (I recommend the triple chocolate cake and the original Sicilian cannoli and mini cannoli, which are delicious). It's a shame they no longer have the small pastry shop they once did. Highly recommended, a small artisanal gem for those who appreciate quality. A limited selection, but of the highest quality.

04/02/2026: Panettone like it's been a long time coming in Milan! Excellent, perfectly balanced flavors. Super soft and fluffy, with excellent raisins and truly spectacular, fresh candied fruit. Far from designer bakeries and rococo variations, this is the true Milanese panettone! Word of a true Milanese

19/07/2026: Excellent service and a smiling waitress, but the rating is solely based on the quality of the ice cream, which is very poor in terms of consistency and flavor. I had a cup for €5.50 (3 flavors): Tiramisu tastes exclusively of coffee and melted quickly, stracciatella isn't exceptional, and the yogurt + honey and walnuts is truly disappointing. It tastes like yogurt with a few walnuts in it. Where was the honey? Sorry, but there's nothing that makes me want to come back.

09/06/2026: Wife and I had dinner here tonight. Ordered the squid ink and mushroom risotto as well as the bufala gnocchi. All were fantastic, the gnocchi may be the best I have had. Seated quickly, served quickly, service was great 👌🏻

08/06/2026: The seafood carbonara was simply PERFECT, we went back on our last day to eat it again because it was so good. Service was okay, European style "I'll give you attention when I can" but without delays, quiet, traditional atmosphere, the bathroom could use a renovation.

31/05/2026: We went on a Saturday morning at 10:30/11:00 after many people recommended it. We ordered a pain au chocolate and a coffee braid, a cortado, and a cold brew. The products looked and felt like they'd been left on the counter the day before. Needless to say, even eating them confirmed the initial impression: they had aired out. The staff, however, was friendly and quick. On a Saturday morning, we expected fresh, above-average products, but instead they fell short, resulting in an exorbitantly expensive bill—€17.50 for the whole thing. I don't think we'll be back.

21/05/2026: The pizza was very good, but the service was superficial and irreverent, especially from the cashier, who, having miscalculated the "significantly overpriced" bill, didn't even apologize, didn't even refund the full amount, and instead made us look like poor wretches who were asking for clarification on the 18 euros we didn't owe.

21/05/2026: The plates were good, but unfortunately the service was terrible, especially from the long-haired brunette behind the register. She got the bill wrong, and when we noticed and pointed it out to her, she mumbled without even apologizing. In fact, she claimed that €3.50 per person was too little. Initially, she kept insisting that we had ordered more, just to avoid admitting that the bill was wrong. , instead of admitting her mistake. Then, forced, she admitted it! Due to the lack of courtesy and unprofessionalism of the staff, unfortunately, we will not be returning.

21/01/2026: Excellent coffee as well as pastries, enough choice of brioche in the morning for lunch leaves a little to be desired, little choice, very strange, you can't find the classic toast which in my opinion would sell well overall, prices are in the average, the morning staff are really very good

19/12/2025: A truly pleasant place to spend time. I'd been there for breakfast a while ago, and the pastries are delicious! Today, I tried them for an aperitif. Excellent service, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The aperitifs and appetizers are noteworthy. It's nice because it's frequented by a diverse crowd. Not ordinary!

07/09/2025: I give it a negative rating, not for the pizza, which is still well-made, but for the service. I called twice to order pizzas to pick up at the restaurant, for 7:30 PM, and both times we had to wait an hour despite the reservation. It seems like a lack of organization and respect for your customers' time. Anyway, I won't be coming back.

06/01/2026: I don't understand all these positive reviews. I've been to many sushi restaurants in Milan, and I have to say I left feeling completely dissatisfied, almost nauseated, and feeling heavy. The dishes were so heavily seasoned with sauces that, unfortunately, the flavor of the fish was nonexistent. A positive note was the fast service and the young lady who welcomed us, who was very polite and friendly.
