26/10/2024: Posto piccolo e ben curato negli interni, non il classico ristorante da 200posti! l'arredamento molto curato e i colori suggestivi lo rendono molto carino per una cena di coppia. Il ragazzo che gestisce la sala è molto bravo, spiega ogni piatto che viene servito e consiglia anche quale vino abbinare in base ai piatti scelti, si vede quando il lavoro che fai ti piace! I piatti sono preparati con la scelta di materie prime di ottimo livello, dai gamberi rossi di elevata pezzatura ai contrasti di sapore delle tartare di tonno e ombrina. Vengono utilizzati dei prodotti che sono stati sferificati come le acciughe del cantabrico che in bocca esplodono in un sapore unico o al wasabi sferificato sul sashimi di salmone che da un contrasto perfetto al piatto. Ottima l'esecuzione del piatto con il polpo a 2 cotture che dimostra tutta la bravura dello chef che si conferma pochi minuti dopo con i primi davvero sublimi!Bravi! Torneremo volentieri!

12/04/2025: Terrible service. After an hour of waiting, only one pizza of the 4 ordered arrived. The others arrived, after various reminders, after 20 minutes. Not even an apology! Never again

23/03/2025: Beautiful place and very well cared for, nothing to say about that, but as far as drinks are concerned we are not at all there. I asked for a mojito, too bad it seemed like drinking straight vodka, in addition to the fact that the price of the drinks starting from 14 euros would be fair if they were really good but in this case it is only valid for the place. If I were the owner I would hire more competent bartenders to respect the beautiful place that it is.

21/03/2025: Great Sunday brunch (reservation recommended), they give you a welcome drink (prosecco or alcoholic drink) and then there is a buffet for both sweet and savoury (juices and coffee included) opens at 12 and goes on until 16. All this for 40 euros per person. The atmosphere is very nice and they bring everything to your table. Highly recommended

The quality of the ingredients is immediately noticeable: the stringy mozzarella, the fresh tomato and the fragrant and light dough create a simply irresistible combination. The menu is rich and varied, with options for all tastes: from classic daisies to more original creations. I highly recommend the “Chip and Dale Special”, a true explosion of flavours! The place is welcoming and with attention to detail, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The staff is very kind and always attentive to satisfying every request. Furthermore, waiting times are surprisingly short, even at the busiest times. In short, it is the ideal place for a perfect evening with friends or family. Five well-deserved stars: Chip and Dale never disappoints!

22/03/2025: Il Caffè del Viale, locale storico e rinomato di Dalmine e dintorni, sono certa che si sia guadagnato la sua giusta fama per la completezza offerta. Ambiente ampio e arredato con stile, con poltroncine interne che più ergonomiche non si può, con un'avvolgenza e comodità uniche, assieme allo spazio esterno, conviviale e riservato allo stesso tempo. Bancone ampio in cui ognuno può trovare il suo spazio perfino nei momenti di punta. Scelta ampia di dolci e salati, con possibilità di personalizzazione, con ingredienti freschi uniti a pane e brioche di prima categoria. E poi, last but not least, l'identità di un locale è definita dal suo personale, soprattutto in un bar che esercita da prima dell'alba alla sera, con un impegno profuso direi assoluto. E sappiamo tutti che stare al pubblico è complesso: eppure, in mezzo alla gentilezza delle ragazze alla macchina del caffè, al bancone e che si aggirano tra i tavoli con un servizio impeccabile, è impossibile non sottolineare ed esaltare, direi che ci sta davvero, il sorriso e la gentilezza di Paola, che la rendono ai miei occhi come il deus ex machina de Il Caffè del Viale, come la sua impronta distintiva. Non ha quella gentilezza affettata un po' falsa che trovi spesso, in cui ci si sforza di essere cortesi ma in realtà si odia il proprio ruolo o non si è tagliati: Paola è energia pura, sempre, in qualsiasi ora del giorno e con qualsiasi condizione atmosferica, ha un talento, una dote che è innata, non si può sbagliare. Quindi, se vi alzate la mattina, o durante il giorno o a fine giornata vi sentirete abbattuti e demotivati, ricordatevi che Paola ha a che fare con tutti noi, spesso rompipalle a prescindere, e che a tutti noi riesce a sorridere, a dimostrarci un'affabilità unica. Se ci riesce lei, ecco, prendiamo esempio e mettiamo un po' di quella bellezza di Paola nelle nostre giornate e quando la incontrate, ringraziatela: è il minimo. Grazie Paola, "ti si vole bene".

28/02/2025: VERGOGNOSI! Bottiglia di saten (35€ acquistata felice perché speravo fosse di livello il locale, eppure... Primo: il povero cameriere messo solo in sala con 4 baristi e una banconista (panini) era evidentemente stressato e lo posso capire quindi sorvolo: al momento dell'ordine mi chiede se gradisco anche il servizio aperitivo e dico testuali parole: "con una bottiglia mi darete qualcosa da stuzzicare visto che siamo in 2 a berla". Secondo, momento conto: 40!(35+aperitivo non richiesto chiaramente), pago il giusto, quindi 35, ed esco a fumare. Un responsabile esce alzando la voce a noi 2 Signore dicendo "non è per i 5 euro però il ragazzo vi ha chiesto se volevate l'aperitivo" alchè alterata gli confermo che ho detto no e che comunque non era un problema di soldi ma se non richiedo il servizio non sono OBBLIGATA A PAGARLO. VERGNOSI GIÀ SOLO PERCHÈ ERAVAMO DUE DONNE. Da prima ci hanno fatto cambiare due tavolo, poi aspettare 15min il menù a locale vuoto e dopo "non è per i 5euro " si capisce chiatamente che è un locale per "ragazzini". Consiglio al mattino che la gestione è nettamente differente!

17/03/2025: I was good because in the end the evening was pleasant and this place has potential. I don't give 5 stars only because something was quite intolerable, so much so that another table left. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff, fantastic barman (more of an all-rounder I would say), friendly and approachable owners. Very nice place with a family atmosphere. Excellent drinks and a plentiful and delicious aperitif! If it weren't for two little problems: 1) in reality we wanted "normal" food in the non-aperitif sense, but we were advised against it on a Saturday evening because there were too many people, for goodness sake as said before everything was excellent, but one should be able to take what they want. And then I see two tables arriving at which mega courses of fish are served... wasn't it better to have an aperitif? Bah.. 2) the last course of the aperitif included a first course and that day it was gnocchi. Very quick to make, but apparently they have special gnocchi here because after more than 1 hour they hadn't arrived (ah and in the meantime the fish table was already at dessert even though it arrived after us...). At this point another table who was waiting like us left. Finally the first one arrives which had magically transformed into a risotto (very good, nothing to say), but it was a makeshift since they were, I think, already making it for others. The owners apologized and to repay us they didn't charge us for coffee and bitters, excellent thing, thanks. It was explained to us that the kitchen only has four burners and that they kept receiving requests from the upstairs where there was a birthday party with many people, so they were overwhelmed with work. So... I can understand it, in fact we were sorry and didn't leave. But if the kitchen is so small, put less stuff on the menu or make a smaller menu at least for Saturday evening since that's the day that's the problem (in fact, a person I know who went there on Sunday had a great time ordering "normal" food). Or otherwise, if there are huge tables, present a fixed menu so everyone eats the same stuff and doesn't interrupt with further requests. There are other customers too. You want to do too much but now you don't have the chance, sometimes less is more. I hope this thing improves because the food is still excellent.

01/12/2024: A special place with outdoor tables offering a spectacular view of the beautiful Lake Porlezza. The coffee is delicious, the desserts are exquisite and the service is impeccable, with waiters always kind and polite. An experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting this area. Perfect for a relaxing break!
