17/11/2025: The price is definitely lower than many other similar restaurants in Como. Nothing superlative, but given the lower price than the others, I think it deserves five stars. Parking in the area is very difficult (it's downtown and next to the hospital).

16/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – An authentic mountain experience
I had the pleasure of dining at this mountain restaurant and was pleasantly impressed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with wooden furnishings, soft lighting, and a mountain view that alone is worth the visit. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their work.
The cuisine perfectly reflects mountain tradition: rich, flavorful dishes prepared with local ingredients. The platter of local cured meats and cheeses is a must, while the canederli and polenta with porcini mushrooms were simply irresistible. The wine selection is also excellent.
02/09/2025: We arrived at 8:30 PM and found it closed despite the timetable saying otherwise. Luckily, we decided to take the car instead of the 20-minute walk. It was disappointing to see a sign outside saying "No Dogs Allowed," considering my dog is much better behaved than many people.

01/09/2025: In recent years, the portion sizes for main courses and side dishes have been significantly reduced. It's only worth it for the first course; if you order a second course, you'll leave the table feeling decidedly hungry. It's crowded, regular customers are no longer coming, and soon our company will too. It's a shame.

24/10/2025: A very positive experience. We stayed in early August. The place was charming, with a breathtaking view, lots of greenery, and a playground for the kids. They had just changed management, but the place was still simple, clean, and well-maintained. The owners, Sara and Paola, were very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind. We felt like we were staying with family; the food was good and plentiful, and especially made with local produce. We'll definitely be back.
06/09/2025: A refuge with decent rooms; you have to make do, but the scenery and location more than make up for it! Half board with only two options for starters and main courses. Simple dishes, typical of a refuge, with delicious desserts!

12/11/2025: A quick lunch while passing through Cernusco. The location was very basic, and the food didn't even remotely resemble the Spanish flavors of the dishes offered. I ordered patatas bravas, but the sauce wasn't at all similar to the original.
I would much appreciate it if you'd offer standard dishes without pretending to be "Iberian food." It would certainly be appreciated more.
Another piece of advice: the women's bathroom was gross, dirty, dusty, and poorly maintained (and I'm not talking about dirt from use that day, but rather various encrustations).
In short, a bit disappointing.

Stayed in the bed and breakfast, and as soon as you step outside, you have the bar terrace.
Bar, yes. But they do really good food with high-quality products.
The tagliata was cut like butter! Cooked to perfection! The seared tuna was finger-licking good. Excellent pizza. Textbook tiramisu. The alcohol was super fair-priced. In other words, excellent quality but really reasonable prices.
The service? Two mothers worried about three children between 5 and 8 years old eating in a place they didn't know. And the waitresses kept calm and collected under the questions that rained down from everywhere.
Excellent!
24/06/2025: Had 2 dinners on Saturday, booking for 6 people. Very good food, service even despite the full house. Very honest price and quality.

14/07/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro anniversario con tutta la famiglia. Ottimo cibo, ottimo servizio, piatti abbondanti e la gentilezza della proprietaria ci lascia un bel ricordo. Poi la vista è impagabile. Ristorante che consiglio vivamente.
08/07/2025: Wir sind in Malcantone in den Ferien und waren bereits zweimal in diesem Restaurant mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Das Essen und die freundliche Bedienung haben es uns angetan. Wir werden wieder hingehen, weil es noch soviel Gutes auf der Karte hat. Top!

15/11/2025: The pizzas are really good, with a soft, digestible dough. Quality ingredients.
The atmosphere is welcoming; I really like the design and the simple yet distinctive furnishings.
This is my second time here. I highly recommend it!
PS. The Neapolitan beer is also excellent.
13/11/2025: The staff Kristian (hope I spelled correctly) is very friendly, nice and good at his job.
The Tiramisu can be better, it has too much of coffee powder in it. The pizza was nice too.

06/09/2025: This neighborhood trattoria has quickly become a must-visit. A home-like welcome, freshly cooked food with quality ingredients, and a wide selection of traditional cuisine, from Milanese to Sardinian, even gluten-free options! The owners are incredibly kind; you can tell they've been in the restaurant business their whole life, and they make you feel at home from the moment you arrive!
During porcini mushroom season, don't miss the chance to try them; they're incredibly fresh. They're served in both first courses (the risotto espresso is fabulous) and second courses, exceptional!

24/06/2025: Good granita with quality ingredients. I appreciated the use of raw materials: velvety almond with intense flavor and not too sweet; lemon with small peels that enhance its quality. The only thing was some pieces of ice that remained in the mouth but the flavors were present and never invasive. To try again with ice cream.
