17/10/2025: I don't know what to say about this gelateria where we stopped by chance on our way back from the lake! We had truly special gelato, with delicious seasonal flavors (we tried mulberry, chestnut, and pomegranate in addition to the classics), very creamy even the fruit flavors (by the way, the selection of vegan flavors, free from dairy and other animal derivatives, is quite extensive and certainly more varied than the usual sorbets you find around; it was a pleasure to see and try them). Bonus: very kind girls at the counter, cones and cups of two flavors at the great price of €2.50, and a crunchy wafer, not the usual soft wafer. We'll definitely be back!!

08/09/2025: A small, family-run restaurant in the heart of Castel Goffredo, simple yet welcoming, always clean and tidy, even in the bathrooms. Here you can enjoy authentic Southeast Asian cuisine: from the excellent egg rolls, both fried and fresh, wrapped in rice paper, to the famous Pho soup, to rice and noodle dishes with meat and vegetables, perhaps enjoyed with a Vietnamese beer. The ingredients are fresh, the preparations are artisanal, and the homemade desserts are truly delicious. The owner, Phuong, welcomes you with great kindness, explaining the dishes and offering helpful advice. The prices are fair and the quality is authentic; the only drawback is the rather slow service, which is understandable given that the owner manages both the dining room and kitchen alone. Highly recommended for those who love discovering authentic and genuine flavors. We traveled 50 km to come here, and it was worth it; you just need to be patient!

16/10/2025: Absolutely not recommended for lunch: the pizza is good, but they don't take meal vouchers, and besides the pizza, the plates are tiny. My portion of meatballs contained literally three tiny ones. I should point out that all the restaurants in the area take meal vouchers.

06/09/2025: Nice ambience. Host seated me quickly and also the food came out super quick. Very nice family owned restaurant vibe where they know their regulars and make them feel at home.

18/08/2025: An unpretentious restaurant on a very popular street in Milan's nightlife. Nothing special. The location is dated and in need of a major renovation. The pizza was dry and the food on top was burnt. Then I ordered some tuna that tasted like nothing... The price isn't worth what you get. I wouldn't go back.

18/10/2025: Delicious pizzas, from classic to specialty: all highly recommended. A very pleasant new location, it's nice to be able to sit down and finish your meal with a good draft beer and a delicious dessert (the pastiera is top notch). The staff is attentive, friendly, and pleasant. Definitely worth a try.

23/09/2025: I tried multiple Gelato places in Milan (around 5 mostly around Dormo). This one is the best for "extra dark chocolate" flavor. Will visit again. The extra dark chocolate is like 70/75 percent dark chocolate and very creamy !! Edit: Adding after 2 weeks. I still remember and miss the gelato here :) 2025 Visiting after many years they have maintained the quality

09/10/2025: I was very disappointed with my visit to 8tto Granchi. As a tourist, I was only given a standard menu with extremely inflated prices, a small pasta dish for around €20 that was neither filling nor particularly flavorful. What bothered me most was that while I was served the overpriced mini portion, Italian guests at the next table were served generous plates, apparently as part of a daily special that wasn't even offered to me. It seemed like a clear two-tiered approach. The value for money here is completely out of place, and the way they treat non-Italian guests leaves a lot to be desired. I therefore cannot recommend the restaurant.

12/09/2025: We were recommended this restaurant by our hotelier and were so impressed. The ambiance was simple, yet tasteful. We received a warm welcome and had a fantastic meal. The meat was super tender and cooked to perfection. It was accompanied by buttered zucchini and delicious potato wedges. My husband enjoyed it so much that he ordered grilled prawns instead of dessert because he loves them so much, and he wasn't disappointed. They were also fantastically prepared. Thank you for such a wonderful meal.

03/09/2025: As far as I'm concerned, the best ice cream in Varese is concerned. However, I have to say that lately I've noticed the staff is often surly and presumptuous. At this point, I prefer to choose ice cream shops with more welcoming staff who don't put me off having an ice cream.
