Because only true and authentic passion, even after forty years, can still welcome new customers with the desire to make them feel at home and share their culinary research and experiences. Little else remains to be said: love for the local area, excellent raw materials, simple yet unpretentious preparations. Don't underestimate the daily specials, the excellent wine list, and, for those who still have room, interesting dessert options. All in an informal atmosphere, with courteous and attentive staff and a decor that truly exudes culinary history. The price is high, but it's worth paying.

15/04/2026: The welcome you'd expect from a restaurant awarded the Slow Food Snail. Omar Bertoletti is generous with his descriptions of the dishes and the provenance of the ingredients his brother Ubaldo uses in the kitchen. He's certainly not shy about recommending the wines on the extensive wine list. We ate very well, with special mention for the sorbir dei marubini and the porc tonnè. The zuppa inglese alla mantovana was delicious.
