Beatiful premises, not too big, maybe 5-6 tables or so. Restaurant by the side of a bit shady alley. Soul music on the background and nice lighting (these are important things in a restaurant). In the old days Italian (and mediterrenean alltogether) restaurants had often lightning that resembled the ones in hospitals, still sometimes the case outside bigger cities). Music is important as well, with the lighting creates the right atmosphere. Here I think this was nicely balanced. Service by a new comer waitress was delightfully neutral, I appreciate that more than being too close, and he was friendly. Very long wine list with plenty of choises from 2000 eur bottles for big spenders and 35-45 eur bottles for us common mortals. Menu is pretty long as well. The dishes we had were very good, and also nicely decorated (sometimes forgotten in Italy). Customers were on a weekday dinner 50 or so olds business people looking smartly dressed folks. So all in all, quite nice experience with pleasant service & atmosphere and good food.
