13/09/2025: There's much better options in the area, and the prices are definitely less prohibitive. A 10-ounce glass at the counter and a brioche to go are €4.20; if I'd sat down anytime soon, I'd have paid practically more than I'd paid for lunch. Incidentally, I paid €3.50 for the same thing a few days earlier (still a rip-off). Milan prices are fine, but here they're all on their own, especially since it's not worth it, considering the quality of the products, the service, and the trashy location. Never again.

12/10/2025: Pizza delivery arrives an hour late.

11/10/2025: I ordered pizza around 7:30 PM and they told me it would arrive at 8:15 PM... It's 9:25 PM and it's now here. I told them no, because in the meantime, after an hour of waiting, I had to eat something. Not recommended. Learn to work.

14/09/2025: We tried to sit to have breakfast when the terrace was empty, however we were told we could not sit where we wanted and swapped to a table next to a cupboard, squeezed in a corner.No customer service at all.

09/09/2025: A charming place offering American-style breakfast and brunch, located near Porta Garibaldi, on a busy Milanese street. Prices are moderately high, but considering the area, they're perfectly in line with other places.

18/10/2025: Kind and courteous staff!! Warm and welcoming atmosphere!!! And personally, for me, the elephant ear is the best!!!

18/10/2025: Compared to Claudio's previous management, unfortunately there is no comparison regarding the food... a top-notch tavern cannot be replaced by a bar that claims to serve dishes of poor quality and quantity... the presence of tables directly on the street pollution is a shame.

10/01/2025: It's a shame they told us they're about to close... it's the first time I've been there for an aperitif and I had a great time with some friends. The place is quiet with music at a good volume for conversation, and the food is really good... especially the Cantonese pasta and rice.

06/10/2025: The Oscar for rudeness, the Pulitzer Prize for imprecision: you order one thing and get another. The atmosphere is punishing, like the subway at rush hour. I'll never set foot there again.

04/10/2025: Despite the delicious food, breakfast was ruined by the rudeness of the staff. There were four of us, and we asked for a table, and despite being first in line and having waited over 30 minutes, the staff kept ushering couples of two behind us to sit them, using the excuse of "the tables for four are taken" (when it would have been enough to push two tables of two together). So, fed up with the wait, we opted for counter service, and that's when the rudeness of the staff became apparent; first, a waitress whispered to the customers behind us, "If they wanted a table, they'd wake up early and come first" (extremely inappropriate). Then, the counter staff (including the one I assume is the owner), between huffs and puffs and rude tones, seemed to be doing us a favor by serving us what we asked for (I emphasize, always in a polite tone). I reiterate that the quality of the food is an important factor, however, if you want special attention and care in the service, I strongly advise against this pastry shop.

01/10/2025: I've been going there for over twenty years. Quality and perhaps the best coffee in Milan. The staff is always top-notch.

28/09/2025: Imposible to drink the smoothie, it was full of seeds. I asked for extra blend but they bring another one with same problem. The straw got stuck all the time. Besides that, the staff is nice and the decor is pretty but woman’s bathroom door doesn’t close.

02/05/2025: I give 4 stars because in the past with the first management (90s) I found love... well that's a separate story... unfortunately I learned that this historic place will close... I liked it a lot... both its decor and the staff. I'm very sorry.

16/04/2025: The pizza isn't even bad, shame about the manager who is rude and extremely dishonest. It's okay that for a pizza I didn't pay for and sent back, you're asked to keep it and pay for it the next time they're there, but if someone doesn't take the pizza and doesn't pay for it because the POS isn't working, it's not my fault, it's yours alone. Having said that, I hope you fail as a pizzeria because as people, you've already failed. If you fail, you're not worth a cent to the poor people who live in your town, you disgusting pieces of shit.

28/09/2025: There were 10 people in the group. The service was poor. You had to ask for service to get it. There were no cushions on the metal benches outside until we asked for them. There were only a few heating pads. Some of us got cold while eating. One of the group received the wrong food, we reported it, and the waiter didn't believe the customer. We asked to change the food, but a new waiter came and the food wasn't changed despite the request. I ordered a tuna steak, which was dry. The food was ok, but not balanced in terms of price and quality. If we had known and gotten to know the previous values, we would have not gone.

22/09/2025: It was very nice, we had drinks and my friend had icecream. It was very nice tasting and we strongly recommend this place if you like quieter restaurants. Staff was also very nice! 5 stars.

02/11/2025: Over 40 minutes on a Sunday to prepare an order without warning of the long wait. Truly terrible service; at least let them know before they waste their time.

15/07/2025: Terrible people. One of them screams and has an annoying voice. I don't think they even wash their hands since I didn't see them. Avoid eating there. The ingredients are of poor and questionable quality. I bought a takeout piadina and threw it away... Answer: Just because you can't accept the truth doesn't mean you're making things up. Have a good day, frustrated people ;)

16/06/2025: It has been a shame for years and continues to be a shame, I'm sorry that it is located in a strategic point and unfortunately has customers, but then people who work there scream and smoke all day (I have my doubts that they wash their hands) since I have a friend who lives in those buildings and sees them in the courtyard. I don't know how to respond to the owner's lies so I'll extend my review: 1 I advise you to learn to read and understand the Italian language before commenting and telling lies. 2 he is the one who works for you with the duck voice who screams all day inside or outside, NO ONE has spoken of customers who disturb. 3 I took the liberty of going back these days and asking someone who was leaving number 21 and they repeated the screaming adding also that you smoke *** in their courtyard. 4 it's written "staff" not staf 5 NOBODY has ever talked about knowing your staff and I don't even care for God's sake. I hope you learn Italian and that at least you understand this.
