19/06/2025: Terrible service, the girls at the counter were really unpleasant! The products are probably good but with the customer service they offer I wouldn't be surprised if in a year the place was gone. I passed by chance but I won't go back even by mistake!!!!

15/02/2025: Premessa: sono un boomer, generazione X. Mi dispiace scrivere brutte recensioni, la gente va informata. A pranzo scelgo questa pizzeria in zona del mio nuovo lavoro. Non ha esposto il menu con i prezzi. All'interno il menu solo con il qr code, ne chiedo uno fisico che non hanno. Schiavi dello smartphone, che non ho portato con me. Alla cieca, vado sul sicuro e scelgo una semplice margherita con acqua. Pizza che credo di aver mangiato in meno di 5 minuti, non certo per la fame, 10 euro: normale, niente di che, è una margherita. Acqua da 50cl a 3 euro, l'acqua è un bene universale, 3 euro... Alla fine mi avvicino alla cassa e mi chiedono che cosa desidero, il conto è 15. Due euro di coperto, senza tovaglia. Non ho foto per giustificare. Prezzo eccessivo per menu pranzo lavorativo. Credo che non ci ritornerò.

18/07/2025: Not sure why there are so many low stars. This cafe has excellent quality food, service and of course of the Italian drinks! A great place to start or finish viewing the Last Supper, which in itself is breathtaking and opposite the cafe!

12/07/2025: The service leaves much to be desired. The only good thing was the peach ice cream.

06/07/2025: Always nice to spend the afternoon inside Ikea. You can eat in the restaurant on the first floor, genuine food with little fat and that doesn't cost much. Now everything is automatic. If you go to the restaurant and you are green, avoid taking bottles of water, you can take glasses and fill them up for free with fresh water, both still and sparkling. This is in the drinks dispenser by clicking on still water or sparkling water. The system of returns and invoice requests needs to be improved, few counters and an endless queue.

06/07/2025: Good morning, I honestly didn't know that the Ikea Carugate restaurant served shoe soles, usually found in shoe shops, but to our surprise we found them on our plates. Do you remember espadrilles? The older ones like me made a skin out of them when we were young! Basically, we ordered 2 plates of entrecote with potatoes that were truly inedible: very hard meat, greasy and impossible to chew. We threw away (in addition to lunch) our 30€!!!!

25/06/2025: This evening we ordered two take-away pizzas, I wonder if the management has changed, it's no longer Neapolitan pizza, it's a pizza with a low edge, it used to be better

12/07/2025: Even after years, the atmosphere remains very pleasant. Excellent selection of cocktails, starters, and first courses... the choice of second courses is a bit limited, but overall, it satisfies all palates. The wine list isn't overwhelming, with well-known labels that make choosing easier. Prices are average for the area. Perhaps the off-menu starter is a bit excessive, but still worthy of praise. Delicious desserts... it's a shame there's no sweet wine to finish the meal with. Prompt and impeccable service, nothing to complain about. I would have liked more care in filleting the sea bream, but there's nothing to complain about. Definitely worth trying again.

11/07/2025: Something's wrong. Until a few years ago, this was a real competitor to panino giusto, and now it seems like a run-down place. We went for a sandwich at 8:50 on a Thursday night. We were the only customers, and they barely got us seated with a rude "we close at 10:00." At this point, no one told us that the kitchen was already closed, and we couldn't eat anything cooked (and we didn't have the heart to leave, having already ordered drinks). It's truly out of this world not to be able to have dinner at 8:50, with only three customers, and fries in a sandwich shop. If this is the way things are going this evening, it's obvious there aren't any customers!

15/07/2025: April 2025: cappuccino for €2 versus an average of €1.56 in Milan (source: Prices and Tariffs Observatory of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy). And we're not in the city center, we're in Barona (a notoriously working-class neighborhood in Milan). Furthermore, as mentioned in other reviews, they're not exactly known for their friendliness (they take a long time to greet you) or quality of service (the counter is often a real mess). The products are good, but at this price (now really expensive) and with this kind of service, it's just not up to par.

27/06/2025: Bombolone al pistacchio e cappuccino con latte soia TOPPPP. Visually all the pastries too...very inviting. Friendly staff...I will definitely go back when I am in the area.

22/07/2025: BACTERIA IN THE FOOD! My mother and I ate here the day before yesterday. I ordered the pizza flori de nerano and my mother the pizza mugnanese. We thought the pizzas were a bit thinly topped (in terms of potatoes and zucchini flowers), but the flavor was fine. We ate the crusts with olive oil (perhaps it was spoiled) and salt. When we asked for the dessert menu, we waited 10 minutes and had to ask again, while they looked at us repeatedly and one person was even on their phone. We both ended up eating the tiramisu. There must be something in this food that wasn't good or had bacteria, because I had diarrhea for hours at night with severe stomach cramps, and the next day my mother had severe stomach cramps, nausea, and vomited.

10/07/2025: They are cheaters, they don't accept premium tickets during lunch break (workdays). Shame on you.

28/05/2025: Annoyed owner. You come in, say hello and you get no response, after several attempts to “approach”, you are finally taken into consideration. You simply ask for two coffees with cold milk on the side and both the cups and the milk jug are slammed on the counter of the place. You pay, leave and say hello and again you get no response. However, with customers who, I assume are regulars, there is cordiality and sympathy. Excellent way to gain loyalty from other customers.

04/07/2025: Food tasted normal// good. CAUTION: At the table between number 5 and 4 water is dripping down? I think it was water from the air conditioning. Service is good there.

12/08/2025: The piadina is very good. I use the service many times a year and at least 4-5 times a month, especially when I'm forced to rush my lunch break due to work delays, both for takeout and dine-in. The staff is friendly and professional, and wait times, even when there's a line, are kept to a minimum. Highly recommended.

10/01/2025: It's a shame they told us they're about to close... it's the first time I've been there for an aperitif and I had a great time with some friends. The place is quiet with music at a good volume for conversation, and the food is really good... especially the Cantonese pasta and rice.

16/08/2025: I'm very sorry to write this because I've always had a great time at Piadinerias. But unfortunately, today I went to eat here and was served a piadina with salmon that had completely gone bad. Thank goodness I noticed it in time. I'm truly sorry, but these things are not something you joke about...

12/08/2025: Sunday around noon, after a stroll around the mall, I went to the piadineria, asked to make a piadina with my ingredients, asked for walnuts... they told me they didn't have them, asked for peppers and they told me they didn't have them... so I took them and left, telling them that at this point it would be better if they closed!!! The very rude employee snapped at me, but I let it go because I didn't feel like arguing. So, to sum up, I found rudeness, incompetence, and terrible management!!! In addition to the fact that they removed the only piadina we ate as a family (the decisa) a long time ago, this chain is now getting worse and worse!!!! I don't recommend it and they will never see me again.
