20/02/2026: Focaccia is a different story, but it's a very convenient place to buy lunch specialties. It's popular with tourists and anyone who works nearby. Prices are a bit steep, but thank goodness it's there! It's gotten better over the past year.

06/01/2026: I'm not surprised it's in the Michelin Guide! A small restaurant with only a few seats, but meticulous attention to detail and attentive service: truly worthy. The dishes stand out and captivate you from the look of them, and when you taste them, you can sense the chef's love and experience! We were on vacation in the Cinque Terre, and it was a sweet and romantic discovery. A must-see if we return to the area. Congratulations!

29/12/2025: Loved this place. Family run. The people were so friendly, like your mother is feeding you. Clearly for locals. Not a sophisticated expensive restaurant but a tiny gem with amazing food. Come here if you want an authentic Genovese experience. We had the pesto with spaghetti, baked fish, and the minestra.

25/01/2026: I went there recently, but never again. The owner was incredibly rude, the food was disgusting, and the people were arrogant. Never again, never go there. Do it for your own health.

23/02/2026: Nothing bad. No praise....more than a pizza rotation given the scarce and low-quality ingredients...a pasta rotation😳? I don't know if it's so hygienic to place the pizzas directly on wooden cutting boards!!! Wooden cutting boards are banned in any kitchen. I'm sorry to write this review out of respect for the work and effort that goes into it. I hope it can help us improve.

20/10/2025: I used to go there a few years ago, even though it was already quite expensive, it was worth it because the products were good. Last night I went back by chance and it was a unique disappointment. In the internal kiosk, the neon lights shine directly into your eyes, dazzling you and already making you want to leave. I bought two cutting boards and two non-alcoholic aperitifs, two slices of ham and 4 or 5 rosticini. I asked them if they could put an arancini on the cutting board. They used to do that, but they replied that if anything, it had to be purchased separately (the cutting board so meager cost us €15 each). They brought us a small appetizer fork. When I asked for a knife, they gave me the plastic cutlery in a bag that you find in supermarket salad bars. I felt ashamed for them. The place would have enormous potential if it were managed with passion, because the Sicilian specialties they produce are truly Sicilian, but I think Mr. Paolo's desire for commitment has now faded. I definitely won't be going back. At most, I'll buy the products to consume at home!!

18/10/2025: I'm returning to Don Paolo after two years, because he's the only one in Genoa who makes a more than decent Sicilian granita with brioche. I should note that in two years the price has increased by 20%, but not only that... unfortunately, the quantity of granita has decreased by another 20%... now served in a glass of water. As for the quality, however, there's nothing to complain about. Always good. Dear Don Paolo... you've built a reputation in Genoa... but be careful not to ruin it with these little things. The price increase is fine, but make sure you fix the quantity: you need a glass at least 50% larger than the one you get now. Don't be a slouch, and above all, don't ruin the image of Sicily and its oriental granita. A native of Catania, that's my word.

01/03/2026: A small, slightly hidden restaurant. Very friendly staff, tables overlooking the beach, and, above all, the best octopus salad I've ever had in these parts: a generous plate of fresh green beans, potatoes, arugula, and delicious, generous octopus, dressed with flavorful lemon and olive oil. The price is more than fair. The bathroom is tiny but impeccable.
