28/10/2024: Siamo stati colpiti subito dal cartello all’esterno! Locale piccolo e accogliente, abbiamo mangiato all’esterno dato la splendida giornata di sole. Personale gentilissimo, anche con la nostra cagnolina sono stati un tesoro! Il cibo? Squisito😍 e lo spezzatino si scioglie veramente in bocca!! Consiglio vivamente a chi cerca una cucina ottima e tipica! Grazie!!

11/09/2024: Dopo una bella passeggiata nel bosco arriviamo a Calcata. Siamo 2 famiglie con figli e abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante. Giungiamo e ci accomodiamo dentro. Locale piccolino ma molto caratteristico, come il simpatico ristoratore che ci chiarisce subito la filosofia Km Zero del locale. Prendiamo tagliere di affettati e formaggi veramente locali e particolari. Ottimissimi i fagioli su crostini di pane. Poi carbonara, gricia, cacio e pepe; tutte buone anche se per qualcuno di noi un po' troppo ricche di pecorino (io le ho assaggiate tutte e mi sono piaciute....davvero un buon pecorino). Grigliata mista, speziata con finocchietto selvatico e ben cotta. Spettacolare anche se mangiato per golosità perchè eravamo ormai veramente sazi lo "spezzatino medievale" manzo, molto tenero aromatizzato con zenzero, chiodi di garofano, carota sedano e cipolla, per me davvero TOP. La cicoria se devo dire un po' troppo amara, ma comunque di zona. Ogni portata e ogni ingrediente viene dettagliatamente illustrato dal cuoco, in particolare nell'origine dei cibi. Servizio tranquillo, von i giusti tempi di un pranzo a Calcata e di una cucina espressa. Io lo consiglio davvero tanto, cucina con un briciolo di rivisitazione, ma molto tradizionale e legatissima ai prodotti del territorio. Prezzi onesti.

25/01/2025: Stasera, sabato 25 gennaio, io e i miei amici siamo passati dopo cena per prendere dei drink e del vino per brindare (stavamo festeggiando il mio compleanno e quello di una mia amica). Ho chiamato verso le 20 per prenotare chiedendo se era possibile, appunto, fare un dopo cena e mi è stato detto di sì. Ho prenotato sotto consiglio alle 23. Siamo arrivati, abbiamo ordinato e alle 00 hanno iniziato a spegnere le prime luci e a spazzare a terra. Eravamo rimasti noi e un altro tavolo da 5 se non erro. Verso 00.10/15 hanno abbassato una serranda iniziando a fare gesti e sguardi tra di loro come per dire che dovevamo alzarci tutti. Uno dei miei amici ha chiesto se erano in chiusura ed è stato risposto di sì. Su Internet la chiusura del locale è alle 01.00. Non a mezzanotte. Detto ciò, dopo che il tavolo accanto a noi si è alzato, ci siamo alzati anche noi.. la mia amica si è fatta mettere il vino rimanente in un bicchiere di plastica perché preferiva berlo in macchina che avere questa pressione addosso. Sono andata in cassa a pagare e ho chiesto come mai chiudono ora se il locale chiude alle 01.00 (sabato sera, tra l’altro) mi è stato risposto dalla signora ‘all’una ce ne andiamo tutti’ . No. All’una chiude il locale al pubblico. Detto ciò, ho risposto che avrebbero potuto avvisare al telefono se dovevano chiudere a mezzanotte /mezzanotte e un quarto invece di farmi prenotare un tavolo alle 23. Tra l’altro sono venuta spesso per cena e ho trovato spesso ragazzi gentili. Queste ragazze presenti stasera sono state di un’antipatia e di una voglia di far nulla aberrante. La cosa più brutta sono stati gli sguardi tra di loro e i gesti. Lavoro anche io a contatto con il pubblico e se mi comportassi così mi licenzierebbero seduta stante. È la prima volta che lascio una recensione del genere e in generale non scrivo molto dei posti in cui vado ma ci sono rimasta molto male. Ovviamente non ci tornerò mai più e opterò per altri locali in zona sia per cena che dopo cena. Se fossi il titolare opterei per un personale migliore.

24/02/2025: Just this morning something very unpleasant happened to me in this bar where for some time now my friend and I have been going to have breakfast every morning around 7am. As always we were sitting at a table near the entrance door, my friend was having a cappuccino with a croissant, I was just having coffee and 2 biscuits brought from home for various health reasons, the girl at the checkout (black and curly hair) in a VERY UNPLEASANT way in front of all the people in line pointed out to me that I couldn't have consume the biscuits. I can understand their type of work even if I don't agree with it, for 2 biscuits then, but the thing that annoyed me the most was the way, my privacy exposed in front of everyone and the constant talking about the girl who never finished it 🤬 shame because the bar deserves it, but not the staff (some).

From classic spring rolls to Cantonese rice, to house specialities, each course is a riot of authentic flavours. The management is impeccable, with a friendly and helpful staff, always ready to advise and make every customer feel at home. The service is fast and efficient, without ever losing quality or attention to detail. The environment is welcoming and refined, perfect for both an intimate dinner and an evening with friends. Furthermore, the large car park makes everything even more convenient. A place to always return with pleasure! Highly recommended!

20/03/2025: Rider totally lazy and rude. All the other riders (Italian or foreign) have always followed the delivery instructions carefully written in the notes and delivered politely. He demanded that I go to the street to get pizza, making implausible excuses about the impossibility of reaching my home and, the icing on the cake, in the end he refused my greeting. Never seen such rudeness (from an adult). To top it off, the pizza was as bad as it was.

14/02/2025: Locale piccolino ma molto accogliente. Il personale è simpatico, cortese ed attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Il Menù, non con molte scelte per ogni voce, sintomo di mantenimento degli standard di qualità, regala piatti sfiziosi, che legano qualità e tradizione. La materia prima è di qualità, trattata sapientemente da un silenzioso e concentratissimo ceff, immerso nelle preparazioni in una piccola cucina a vista. I piatti proposti, da noi scelti, ci hanno regalato un'esperienza sincera e profumata, dal gusto pieno e gradevolissimo. Quasi tutte le opzioni del menù sono disponibili senza glutine, sicure per i celiaci. Mio nipote che è celiaco, è rimasto soddisfattissimo e non ha avuto alcun problema anche a distanza di tempo. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è soddisfacente. Quindi locale consigliabile sotto tutti i profili, gioia per i celiaci che faticano a trovare locali per le loro esigenze di salute e che regalino gioia ai loro palati. Torneremo sicuramente.

10/02/2025: Very beautiful location for my son's communion lunch... unfortunately despite this, it was a terrible and truly unpleasant experience both for us (the choice was made well in advance and by selecting various locations) and for the guests; the menu chosen, after various test lunches, was of poor quantity and quality on the day of the event, they probably cannot manage multiple events at the same time in the same structure (if I'm not mistaken 3..); a lunch cannot have a wait of two hours / an hour and a half between one course and another, especially after a small starter that I personally wasn't even able to taste. I would like to specify that my son and his friends (communion age...) paid the same as an adult and I also had to pay for the lunch of a person who was absent because he was ill. Furthermore, a few days before the event the lady also tried to move the event to another point of the club, citing absurd and bad reasons compared to the place chosen months before... it would have taken away the only positive note of the event.
