A reality in Frascati for years, but every time it is a pleasant surprise to see how you can do things with simplicity, availability and excellent quality at honest prices. FORMIDABLE

14/01/2025: Pizza and Crostino from Il Fornaretto di Amedei, a guarantee! 🍕🍞 Every time I'm in the Frascati area, I can't help but stop by Il Fornaretto di Amedei to get a pizza, and I can say with certainty that their pizza is one of the best I've ever eaten! The real star, however, is undoubtedly the crouton: it is the best crouton I have ever tasted! The bread, then, is another wonder, soft and fragrant, something truly special. If you are in the area, you absolutely must try it! The prices are really excellent, and in addition to pizza and bread, they offer a wide selection of equally tasty products. It is also possible to eat on site, but if you are in a hurry, you can always take away. A place not to be missed! 😋

08/03/2025: After hearing about it I decided to try this place, cute decor and clean, friendly welcome. Selected starter octopus with potatoes and fried anchovies accompanied by focaccia, after the first courses we chose spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with scampi cream, Concluding with fried calamari and prawns and panna cotta. My rating is 10/10 for both the food and the friendliness of the staff, the polite karaoke service was excellent and the music was at the right volume, the speakers were intelligently pointed towards the person performing the song and not the audience so that you can converse calmly at the table. Prices appropriate to the quality and location! I highly recommend and will return to enjoy the meat and pizza! Well done!!

20/12/2024: The food there was just unacceptable. We had lasagna ragu, chicken with mushroom and baked potatoes as a side dish. The lasagna was cold and old nothing special, the chicken was just boiled and tasteless as if i am having hospital food. Finally the potatoes were not fresh and tasted as if they were precooked fried potatoes that had been reheated...just terrible 😔 However the person serving us was nice and kind.

01/03/2025: Unfortunately once again the cake is different from the one ordered. I had recommended making a millefeuille with a layer of chocolate and a layer of custard. Final result: cream millefeuille with very few chocolate chips. Too sweet, not to my liking.

09/02/2025: One star is now too much! Until a few years ago it was excellent, unfortunately the rudeness, the times not respected, the cakes ordered for "forgotten" birthdays or sold frozen without telling me and therefore inedible, bombs found without cream and in any case never a smile, always tension... today I consider it terrible and I will never set foot in it again!

20/02/2025: I have lived above this Panificio for 15 Years, I am a regular when in Rome, only a few months each year. Just back after 2 years away, and pleased that they are still there. BUT! I was charged €5.20 for 2 small pieces of pizza bianca, when I questioned this, was told by the young woman server that it depended on the slice!. I can buy the same at other, very good bakers for € 2. I can only assume that they thought I was a tourist. I have to say in my many years in Rome , I was disspointed . And sadly would not go again.

02/04/2025: Non è la prima volta che vado, sono sempre andata per pranzo o per aperitivi, super ottimo. Questa volta sono andata per provare la colazione e sicuramente tornerò con le mie colleghe. Hanno molta varietà oltre il fatto che non hanno le classiche cose (cornetti e sfornati) ma anche colazione salata e crostate e dolci con ripieni interessanti.

14/03/2025: Servito al tavolo dopo 10 minuti, pizza e fritti freddi, la pizza aveva formaggi non descritti prima, acqua arrivata dopo vari solleciti, prezzo medio alto, lo eviterei.
