10/02/2026: One of the best tea rooms I've ever tried; I'm absolutely in love with it, and I've been coming back for years. The unique atmosphere almost feels like entering a world of its own. The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant, with just the right vintage touches, providing warmth even on the coldest days. The selection is extensive, and the staff is incredibly friendly and capable of guiding you through the best flavors. Among the various options, I'd recommend the matcha tea cake; it truly won me over! Another positive note is the small, yet unusual, gluten-free selection of buckwheat cookies and a chestnut cake (both are fantastic, I highly recommend them).

17/08/2026: If you want to get drunk, waste your money, and spend the evening wondering why you ever left home, this is the perfect place for you. Upon entering, the welcome was worthy of a post office on a Monday morning strike: cold, distracted staff with the typical air of wanting to be anywhere but there to serve you. But let's get to the food, the real sore point, or rather, the biological weapon. The nigiri rice: so compact, dense, and cold it resembled quick-setting reinforced concrete. It was probably leftover from the New Year's Eve menu. The fish: wasted, oblivious to the sea, and with a texture that to call "rubbery" is a compliment. The salmon had that suspicious aftertaste that makes you reconsider every life choice you've made up until that point. The rolls: a blurry agglomeration of industrial mayonnaise and low-quality surimi, drowned in a soy sauce that tasted tragically of dirty water and table salt. The service: a true psychological thriller. The dishes arrived at random intervals: first the desserts, then after twenty minutes the cold appetizers, and finally the lukewarm and soggy hot dishes. When asked for an explanation, the waiter responded with an Oscar-worthy shrug of indifference.

27/07/2026: I'm sorry but I ate badly, my carbonara dish was too salty, the bill was exaggerated and inconsistent with what we ate, the prices of desserts and fruit were exaggerated and not communicated beforehand and then they made us pay for 2 desserts extra, for me it's a tourist trap!

This version recalls the classic Ligurian dish—veal seasoned with aromatic herbs to achieve a bold, familiar flavor. And then the finale, the one you never skip: 👇 🍰 Tiramisu Classic, made properly, without unnecessary reinterpretations. The perfect ending to a dinner like this. Checco e Lina is one of those places you come to if you want to eat properly, without flash but with plenty of substance. A restaurant that focuses entirely on cuisine and hospitality, and does so consistently. It's not a place for dramatic turns; it's a place you'll want to return to. And that, for us, matters most.

25/01/2026: A simple trattoria with decent food, but nothing special, considering the prices are a bit high for the quality. The carbonara was disappointing. Service was quick and courteous, but the staff were welcoming and friendly.

06/07/2026: Neighborhood Turkish restaurant. We ordered a kebab; the guys were quick and the kebab was good.

20/06/2026: Tourists, don't even think about going in! The owner has no desire or passion and charges whatever he feels like. The steaks taste burnt and the service is so slow it makes you lose all your hunger. It's obvious the address doesn't exist and they've given up.

03/08/2026: A good Roman pizza. The marinara lacked oregano. The zucchini blossoms were truly excellent and crunchy. A practical and clean place. Ideal for takeout pizza. Not recommended for dining in. There's only one large table, which is quite uncomfortable. You eat the pizza in the box, as if you were at home. You have to get your drinks from the fridge yourself and open them yourself with the corkscrew on the table. Once you've consumed your food, you have to separate the waste and put it in the bins outside. Alone! In short, highly recommended for takeout only.

18/07/2026: Unfortunately, I have to share my disappointment. We ordered takeout. By the time we got home (10 minutes), the pizza was already tough and chewy, with charred edges. The toppings were certainly good, but these pizzas weren't worth the price. The fries, too, were a truly meager portion for the price we paid, and they were also chewy and not fried well.

18/05/2026: The pizza is delicious, there is only one flaw that should be fixed: avoid cooking with an oven dirty with flour, because the pizzas often end up burnt on the bottom.

12/03/2026: In the heart of Ostia, just four minutes from the sea, lies a haven of pleasure, combining taste, courtesy, and relaxation. A well-maintained establishment, the knowledgeable staff is ready to cater to every customer's needs. The coffee has a slightly burnt aroma, but is mild and acceptable. I just recommend checking the condition of the coffee machine. Everything is fine, and I highly recommend this establishment.

04/08/2026: Fine restaurant. The children liked the pizza and the pasta was also very tasty. We are not used to receiving food in stages, but there was quite a long time between the pizzas being brought and the pasta. Personally, it would have been a bit more pleasant for us if it had been served (almost all) at the same time.

03/08/2026: We were here last night, a quiet atmosphere that caters to every palate. We had two supplì, a Margherita pizza, and a tricolore, a classic thin and crispy Roman pizza, lemon scallops, porcini mushroom strips, beef steak, baked potatoes, French fries, grilled eggplant and sautéed chicory, and two bottles of water. Everything was delicious, and everyone was satisfied. The staff was very kind and friendly... and I forgot about the price?! In line with the restaurant fare, €94, equivalent to €18.50 per person... All I can say is, they're excellent...

06/06/2026: The pizza arrived 20 minutes late! The pizza was cold, but 2 of the suppii were lukewarm, and there was no receipt! I asked for a pizza with four cheeses, and they brought me a pizza with mushrooms and cheese (without telling me). There's no cheese on this pizza, all you can taste is béchamel sauce. Zero service!
