12/06/2026: I had lunch at this diner, and the food was decent, but I urge everyone to carefully check the bill before paying. In my case, I ordered a small seafood trio consisting of tonnarelli with zucchini and lupini beans, breaded and fried cuttlefish, and chickpeas as a side, along with a small bottle of water and a sandwich. I was initially charged an "11 euro trio," for a total of €12.50. After photographing the price list, I realized that the combination I chose was listed at €9. Only after asking for clarification was I refunded first €1 and then another €1, without a clear explanation or a correct receipt. In the end, I paid €10.50, which corresponded to the prices displayed. It was probably a mistake, but I noticed a similar situation with the customer before me. Therefore, I advise anyone who comes here to always check their receipt, compare it with the price list, and double-check the change. A little more transparency would avoid unpleasant misunderstandings and make customers feel more protected.

30/04/2026: The menu is also good and the location is pleasant, but unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired in every respect. Wrong dishes or dishes served to the wrong tables, and excessively long wait times, despite the sparsely crowded dining room, ruin the atmosphere and make the overall experience unpleasant.

18/04/2026: We tried it a couple of weeks ago. At first glance, the exterior is welcoming, the garden and the renovated farmhouse are beautiful, the interior is all new and welcoming, the food surprised us with its goodness, the lady (chef's wife) is very sweet.... It was a pleasant experience, in fact, we will be back tomorrow with some friends🤩

14/07/2026: We've always had the pastries at this pastry shop (really good), and this time I decided to go with them for my birthday. The assorted rustici were delicious; you could tell the dough was fresh; the cake was very good, but I would have preferred more care in spreading the cream (where the word hai is). Regarding the writing itself, the green color wasn't agreed upon together, and the font didn't match the photo shown, which was in block letters, specifying that I wanted it as shown. If I hadn't explained myself well or had any doubts, I would have preferred to have been contacted by phone, having left my number. Upon collection, I mentioned the writing because it had left me a bit surprised, but I didn't receive an alternative solution.

27/06/2026: I had a very good pomegranate tart. The girl at the counter was very sweet and also offered me a piece of hazelnut tenerina cake, which was incredibly good.

14/05/2026: I had lasagna and meatballs, which were good, but extremely expensive, especially considering it's all takeout. Ten euros for a portion of deli lasagna, eaten on a park bench, is a bit of a rip-off.

09/05/2026: Excellent café. Family run business, a favourite with locals, near the train station. Great panini, rustico, pasticciotto, coffee, spremuta arance for a good price.

01/02/2026: A half-empty piadina, missing the filling of parmesan and brie (instead of which, two small pieces of mozzarella) and eggplant (instead of the expected slices, three squirts of eggplant pulp). Disappointing and undoubtedly overpriced (three sparsely filled piadinas for the modest price of €26).

23/03/2026: Istanbul kebab. Very good and the staff were very kind! They even came to our table to ask how everything was, very, very friendly. The only thing I would change is the amount of ingredients in the piadina. I think they should be a little more generous, but obviously that's subjective. Overall, I highly recommend it. Probably the best kebab place in Cisterna.

28/05/2026: If we return to Rome, which we definitely will (since we'll throw a coin in the fountain), we'd come back here without hesitation! How was the spaghetti carbonara? SPECTACULAR! We had booked for 14 at the restaurant next door, but we arrived at 3:00 PM and the kitchen was already closed! Luckily, a young man from this restaurant came out, kindly seated us, and served us! It was a great choice, honestly! Excellent value for money! And even though he didn't know our language, he made an effort and understood us perfectly!

15/03/2026: I don't want to give a negative review, just a piece of advice. If I order a kilo of ice cream, I want a kilo of ice cream, not 900g paid for a kilo. At any other ice cream shop, they fill the tub and weigh it. It's not the first time this has happened, so I think it's standard. Also, if there's a surcharge for a particular flavor, let me know when I ask. It's unfair to charge a surcharge without warning. It's not a controversy, just a suggestion.
