A slice of cake to go with it will be like receiving a gentle caress.
13/02/2026: A very charming tea room with a small outdoor garden. The hostess is very welcoming and offers a wide selection of teas and herbal teas, hot chocolates, and delicious cakes and pastries, as well as quality artisanal biscuits. Highly recommended!

03/03/2026: A cockroach on the table while we were eating. I'd say that perfectly sums up our experience at Fornocafè. 🪳
We went for a quick lunch break and found ourselves in a truly unpleasant situation. Seeing a cockroach on the table while you're eating is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the place's attention to hygiene.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience wasn't any better. The food was awful: completely bland, with overcooked, mushy vegetables and no flavor. The dishes really looked like they had been prepared who knows when.
The service also left much to be desired: rushed, impolite, and lacking the minimal attention you'd expect even from a simple café.
02/03/2026: I come here for both breakfast and lunch, and it never disappoints. The croissants are incredibly filling (the ones with fresh fruit are amazing 😍) and the cappuccino is always excellent. The food is also really good at lunch: tasty dishes, fresh ingredients, and portions that leave you satisfied!
The staff is always friendly and smiling, making you feel at home. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing break 🫂❤️

28/02/2026: I had a San Giuseppe zeppola with black cherries. It was fresh and full of cream, with two black cherries. The only flaw: it tasted too eggy. I don't know why (but at least it's made with fresh eggs). I'll try it again in a few days.

19/02/2026: Nice restaurant, I went there for Valentine's Day. The organization was top-notch, the food was good, although it's gourmet, so the portions were normal and not large. I had fish, which was fresh and tasty. The fireplace creates a lovely atmosphere. There are only a few tables inside, but there's a second, well-furnished, covered outdoor area. I'll be back.
01/02/2026: The location is simply stunning, a welcoming place, with helpful, polite, and professional staff. The food? A rich and original menu, excellent, and delicate on the palate. Not to mention the wine list, which has everything you could possibly need. I always love coming back.

14/03/2026: After dinner, it was awful!!! The rooms were dark with only a single table light, the music so loud you couldn't hear the person in front of you, and the atmosphere was questionable. I don't know about the sushi, as I've never been there, but after dinner, it's definitely to be avoided. Never again.
08/03/2026: Absolutely failed! The seating was barely spaced apart. The service was terrible; in an hour and a half, they only served us five courses, and when we asked, they said they hadn't received our order, quite annoyed. Furthermore, the quality of the food was terrible, flavorless, and the soy sauce was bitter and disgusting.

07/04/2025: Fabulous, a location with an old stone farmhouse style, everything is well combined, perfect welcome, efficient, serious and dynamic waiters, friendly and very friendly owner with his local accent, they recommended the appetizer to us to taste everything and I must say everything is truly top, fettuccine with artichokes and then, let's not talk about it, served directly in the pan, succulent, artichokes on the side are wonderful to say the least. What can I say other than highly recommended, good value for money.

27/10/2025: I visited this restaurant recently and was really satisfied! The menu is huge — it’s hard to choose, but I went with these sushi rolls and didn’t regret it. The dish was delicious and beautifully presented — you can tell they know what they’re doing here. I also counted the calories using the service mentioned in the photo. It turned out to be super convenient and fast — now I recommend everyone to try it! Tracking meals has never been easier, everything gets calculated in just a few seconds.

20/03/2026: For work I stopped in Rome for 3 months and there was not a day in which I ate badly, for those who are in Viale Trieste I highly recommend it, a first greeting goes to the very dear Andrea who serves the tables with his elegance I greet Giorgio, Flavio Mrs. Lucia who cook like a god and I also greet and thank all the other members of the staff, if I could I would give 10 ⭐️
