We booked through TheFork and returned to this restaurant in Fiumicino after some time. I can confirm it was an excellent choice for the quality of the food and the courtesy of the staff. The welcome was excellent and the quality has consistently been excellent. For lunch, we had: fried baby octopus, tonnarelli with squid ink, turbot fillet in a potato crust, and lemon delicacy. Everything was excellent, including the price, thanks to the TheFork promotion. Thanks to the chef and staff.

Dear all, At the end of this spring, I'm in the capital for a few more days before my departure, and one of these afternoons, wandering around with F., we reached Fiumicino where we had a long aperitif🥴. Once we left, what did our eyes see there? The activity in question [1]. Then the idea dawned on us, and we went in, starting our dinner at 10:00 PM. I like the place because it's a restaurant like those of the past (with those typical wine displays, now unobtainable). These are the places where the kitchen knows its trade, and with special friends, I've already been there, also because the restaurant manager was a fisherman like me, and I ask him for advice. This time, fried anchovies and baby octopus, along with the mussels pictured [2]. Then, he personally filleted one of my favorite fish. A sea bass? A sea bream (the queen of the seas)?!? Not a chance, it was turbot, try it. The secret is in the cooking, and if cooked properly, it has a delicate and refined flavor that pairs perfectly with the crunchiness of the thinly sliced ​​potatoes [3] The dinner concluded with the most famous Italian dessert, tiramisu, which at Capogrossi is distinguished by the presence of a rich cream on top, thus becoming a SUPER tiramisu😂 [4]. Furnished in a simple and traditional style, it can accommodate numerous guests, yet well-spaced to ensure privacy. The service is spacious and impeccably clean. The dishes are truly excellent, and carefully prepared. The wait staff is extremely kind and attentive, and can accommodate any dietary requirements. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and charming.

I had lunch at this restaurant and had a very positive experience. The setting is classic, very clean and tidy, with a truly pleasant atmosphere. ​The Culinary Offering ​The menu is extensive and comprehensive: in addition to excellent seafood specialties, it offers a wide selection of meat dishes (with equally varied appetizers, first courses, and second courses) and a wide selection of side dishes. A truly excellent experience! I dined at Capogrossi in Rome, booking through The Fork, and was very satisfied. I tried several seafood dishes, all very fresh and beautifully cooked. The seafood spaghetti was rich and flavorful, the mixed grill was perfect, but the calamari was truly exceptional: tender, well-cooked, and bursting with flavor. Generous portions and friendly service. I'll definitely be back! Prices are moderately high.
