27/11/2025: I waited until the night was over because I didn't want to be affected by my nerves. EVERYTHING BAD!!! From the service, to the food, and finally the price. But what bothered me the most was the service, the treatment we received. We'd come once quickly for lunch, and it seemed like a welcoming, familiar place, but it was none of that. Maybe because I wasn't wearing a suit and tie? Well... Anyway, they took us to our table, attached to the radiator (it was impossible to stand next to us), and when after a few minutes my partner moved a bit, they arrived annoyed. We asked for the specials of the day, and they told us about fettuccine with mushrooms, but frozen mushrooms because they'd run out of fresh ones. A few minutes later, at the table next to ours, not only did they offer the same dish, but they brought out two crates of fresh mushrooms that day, juicy and fragrant. They then offered us polenta, which we took, and showed up with a watery mush topped with a kilo of cheese and a piece of inedible sausage. Afterwards, we ordered meatballs and parmigiana: dry, olive-sized meatballs, and a single-layer parmigiana (never seen one like this), scorching hot on the outside and freezing cold on the inside(!!!). I was left without bread. When I asked for it, they initially seemed annoyed, then brought it to me after making me wait twenty minutes!! The bill was the worst, except that they charged us for two pieces of focaccia we hadn't even asked for, and they even presented us with an exorbitant bill for what they brought us. Obviously, not only will they never see me again, but I'll do my best to advise as many people as possible not to go. I'll even treat them to dinner somewhere else, and since I live nearby, I'll sometimes take the time to stop in front of them and warn people against going in. These people can't always get away with it!!! One of the WORST places I've ever been in my life, a disgrace for such a beautiful city!!!

22/02/2026: My partner, my son, and I had lunch today. The welcome was very friendly, but the food was mind-blowingly good value. An appetizer on a board with a couple of slices of cold cuts each (ham, mortadella, loin, salami), a bowl of ricotta, and a slice of mortadella each, cooked on the grill, cost €45. Then the first courses arrived, no comment... the ingredients were low-quality... we basically got up, paid the €95 bill, and ran away. There was just something to discuss, but given the small place and the people who were eating, I preferred to leave. I won't add anything else, even if there is something to say...

16/02/2026: A family Sunday... This is what my partner and I spent yesterday in this magical little corner. It was our first time, but with the owners, it was as if we had known each other for years. Hospitality, friendliness, and a very characteristic atmosphere. The food? Well, even though we had just had breakfast, we didn't miss a thing, from the superlative appetizer (made with quality products), to the homemade pasta with flavorful yet delicate wild boar ragù, to the Roman braciola. And then what do you do? Not having a dessert? That amaretto semifreddo... truly TOP. We'll make sure to be in the area some other time, because we know where to stop. See you soon

The food was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. During our meal, the restaurant filled up completely. Italians usually eat later. Highly recommended. However, you should definitely make a reservation beforehand.

03/01/2026: WARNING: This is my first time writing a review on Google, and I was there just 10 minutes ago (we're the ones who ordered the single cheese board even though we said we were having dinner, and I'm writing this for you local rednecks who will read this). IN NO ORDER: The prices were exorbitant and ridiculous considering the selection. The place smelled like farts (apparently because of the boiled broccoli, a recipe with a very high difficulty factor that rightfully costs 16 euros). "Sausages" on the menu is written as "sausages." One of the two owners is the rudest person in Rome; he constantly wanted us to leave the place to clear the table, and he wasn't polite to any of the other guests. The wine, 20 euros, would have been better if drunk from the mouth of a dead goat. CONGRATULATIONS.

24/10/2025: A genuine, homey place that stands out from the other ho-hum places in the touristy and gentrified Pigneto area. Simple but very good food, made with genuine ingredients, and reasonably priced by today's standards. A unique atmosphere (both inside and out). Reservations recommended. Maurizio has his own character, but you can't help but love him. If you want a "combed and tamed" experience or a thousand-course menu, head to the pedestrian area (yuck).

It's a Japanese-fusion restaurant offering quality sushi in a refined and modern setting. The restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the sushi, made with fresh fish and meticulously presented. The menu includes creative uramaki, sashimi, chirashi, and specialty rolls, as well as some fusion options. Among the dishes I enjoyed most were the Legami Roll, the Tropic Roll, and the delicious tacos. The staff was attentive and friendly, and despite the restaurant being busy, we were able to eat quickly. I will definitely be back.
