19/09/2025: A very nice place, it doesn't have a lot of seating, and the atmosphere, with bottles of good wine amidst cases of old vinyl records on the walls, creates a very intimate and relaxing atmosphere. A menu with refined options for each course makes the choices challenging, but you can easily find a good match with any dish. The appetizers are fabulous, and the eggplant parmigiana lasagna is exquisite. Be careful if you choose the tartare, because here they serve it sliced, not pounded. The difference is huge, as in the former, the raw meat is served in pieces the size of mini gnocchi rather than minced, as if pounded. Another aspect that disappointed me a bit was the complete lack of beer. I understand it's a place focused on wine, but you should always have at least one quality craft beer selection, because good food can be enjoyed not only with good wine. Returned after over a year, 5 stars well deserved! Innovative proposals with interesting pairings and unique flavors. Fettuccine with Gorgonzola cream and blueberry sauce is a must-try for anyone who loves this cheese—truly spectacular!

03/09/2025: A restaurant located in northern Rome, decorated with 1980s-style furnishings. Minimal seating, no tablecloths or placemats. The menu offers a variety of fish and meat options, with choices ranging from appetizers to first and second courses. Elaborate dishes, from a modern cuisine commonly known as nouvelle cuisine, are exorbitantly priced. We ordered a tartare with lime and whole pink peppercorns, which was hard to digest, but the quality of the meat was good. The pasta with Chianina beef ragù was also good. Indoor seating only. Service is basic. Prices are above average.

Four people, €212... Some ERRORS on the receipt, so be careful!!!! After having the errors corrected, we were even reprimanded by the owner, "The prices are on the menu... have you seen them?" "Yes, ma'am, we saw the menu. A glass of wine costs €7, and it's not written anywhere. Spritz is €8 each (all ice) without any kind of appetizer, it doesn't appear on the menu..." Anyway, it used to be that the customer was always right. Today, in addition to paying the full bill, we also got a bit of a scolding... Advice: in any case, the bill was paid, but with an extra smile and perhaps the gesture of offering a coffee, it would certainly have made the difference.

And then they initially made a mistake, charging us for 2 extra bottles of water and mistaking the Amaro del Capo for a niche amaro!!! When we brought this to the attention of the owner about the incorrect receipt, she replied, "Well, it's one euro more per amaro?" 🙄🙄🙄🙄 This place is mainly a bar transformed into a restaurant, so prices are high for the space and the service. Some prices aren't listed on the menu. Spritz 8 euros each without even an appetizer. Glass of wine 7 euros!!! Are you kidding????? Highly not recommended!!! Be careful when they issue the receipt, they charge extra and set the prices as they please!

20/07/2025: Returning to Up Ristorante Enoteca in Velletri after about two years was a very pleasant surprise. I'd been frequenting the place after dinner since 2015. Well... returning was better than I remembered. The place is becoming more and more refined, year after year. You can see a constant improvement in the attention to detail and the elegance of the atmosphere. The welcome was warm from the first moment: they escorted us to the aperitif area and served us bubbles with homemade appetizers, including breadsticks and a freshly baked focaccia—delicious! A gesture that really struck me was the staff physically opening the menu for you and handing it to you: it's a rare touch these days, but it conveys a sincere care for the guest. The same goes for the bubbles or even the water: they serve it to you, opening the bottle at the table and pouring the first glass for everyone at the table. Details, yes... but they say so much. The table was set with taste and attention: a simple but clean table setting, and a third chair to put bags or coats. A rare touch that I greatly appreciated. We ordered an appetizer and a first course: the service was very quick, and the dishes were generous and of high quality. You could really tell the ingredients were carefully selected. The staff is competent, kind, and attentive. There's a rare continuity, because many of the staff have been working there for years, and you can sense how much they care. They're ready to listen to any feedback and welcome you with a smile. We didn't order dessert just because we were full... but we'll definitely be back for that too!

21/08/2025: One of our favorite spota! Was recommended by our pasta teacher and he knows what he is saying. A lot of flavours, some quite unusual, huuge choice of sorbets. Service 10/10, the boy working there has to be everyones mom and grandma favorite
