20/10/2025: This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Ostia. It's located inside the Stagno Park, a truly pleasant location, also suitable for families with children. The food is good, and the waiters are extremely kind and professional: they really do their best to accommodate their customers' requests. Another plus is that the restaurant is open during the holidays: at Christmas and New Year's, they offer a nice menu at a fair price and organize evenings with live music. Personally, I'd think it would be nice, at least for New Year's Eve, to add a small prize or extra detail to make the evening even more special. There are, however, some aspects that, in my opinion, could be improved. For example, the desserts aren't always up to par: the Caprese, in particular, I find a bit dry, and the ones listed on the menu aren't always available. Table availability is also worth considering: even though I'm a regular, if I don't book in advance, I rarely get a seat, as it's often full. Furthermore, the restaurant only offers takeout and pickup, but does not offer home delivery through platforms like Deliveroo or similar. Another small point worth mentioning is that the Fork app is no longer available. While no discounts were offered there, it was still convenient for booking and earning points, which is an added bonus for regular customers. Finally, I noticed that in the past they offered small discounts for loyal customers, but now they don't. It's nothing major, but such a gesture is always appreciated and, in my opinion, it makes those who return often feel valued. Overall, however, I recommend this place for its overall quality, the courtesy of the staff, and their attentive service, even during the holidays. I think a fair rating is 4 out of 5 stars.

A great discovery, the food is truly excellent, the wine list is well-stocked, suitable for every budget and palate, and above all, the location is wonderful, both inside and out. Special mention for the cured meats (delicious) and the tender and flavorful braised cheek. The prices are in line with the quality of the offerings in every respect. Well done!

01/12/2025: Immersed in pristine nature, the Poet's Inn is a special, warm, and welcoming place where you can spend quality time. The food is excellent and the staff is top-notch. The owner, Raffaele, was truly hospitable and treated us with great care, even though it was our first time there. Thank you for a wonderful day; we'll definitely come again!

19/06/2025: ¡Imperdible! De todas nuestras paradas de helado -y hubo muchas- esta es una sobresalida. La dueña es una mujer maravillosamente apasionada que claramente ama su oficio. Su helado es inigualable y te hace sentir bienvenido y adorado. Hay un nasone justo fuera de la puerta para el agua dulce romana y sus pasos de la Piazza Testaccio. Realmente una tienda maravillosa y nuestro favorito del viaje!

03/03/2025: The tongs were simply fantastic. The service was excellent overall, thanks to their thoughtfulness in offering us a beer to apologize for a slight delay due to an unexpected event. The ambiance was its weakest point. But if we evaluate it based on the type of establishment, it still gets a 5-star rating.

24/05/2025: Dinner for two. The pizzas were truly delicious, with a thicker crust than a Roman one, but still crispy and very tasty. The place is very basic, as is the seating. Recommended, especially for takeout or a quick bite.

22/10/2025: The wine selection is extensive. The owner has an encyclopedic knowledge of wine. And the tapas selections pared well with each of the wines we enjoyed. A wonderful experience and next time we are in the area we will definitely return.

09/11/2025: The blonde saleswoman with glasses was very unfriendly and rude, with poor manners and gestures, rushing you and not letting you choose or think about which pastry you wanted. She was constantly huffing and puffing, unmotivated and angry. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but in this case, I had no other choice.

17/11/2025: The place isn't huge, but it's welcoming and cute, with young, dynamic staff. The pizza, appetizers, and desserts are all very good, especially the gnocchi with Nutella. The only downside: the place can be a bit noisy when it's busy. Go try their pizza, you won't regret it. I forgot, make a reservation, otherwise you might not get a seat.

21/10/2025: We were hosted by friends who were celebrating their son's graduation. It was a really nice party, excellent drinks, and great music. Welcoming, modern venue. Recommended.

But if you don’t like salty fish, then we recommend to have another pizza :) Grazie!
