17/02/2026: I have just one word to describe the food experience in this restaurant: "disgusting". The duck had a bitter flavour and it was like eating cardboard. The place was almost empty for dinner. No menu available, they bring what they call a "degustazione" menù of their choice. You can only choose whether it's seafood or beef. It only consists of two entries and left me with plenty of appetite for something more to eat, but not here.
It's a shame that such a restaurant can operate in one of the most culinary renoun regions of Italy.
04/02/2026: A modern and well-maintained restaurant with a simple, relaxed atmosphere. The food is good quality, with carefully prepared dishes and balanced flavors. The menu is varied and caters to a wide range of tastes. Service is fast and friendly, with no unnecessary waits. A convenient place to eat well in Piacenza, whether for lunch or dinner.
The focaccia is top-notch!

20/02/2026: I had the tagliata and it was good.
The service was sloppy, and the wait between courses was long.
It's a shame that after dessert, no waiter came to ask for coffee, so I had to go to the cashier, feeling impatient.
I also had to wait a bit there because there was no one there.
The atmosphere is very nice, even the idea of the karaoke.

17/03/2026: Mediocre pizza, poor service. I waited half an hour for a Coke and a sorbet, which I was tired of waiting and didn't order. If I hadn't told them, they would have even charged me! The staff is disorganized and confusing. Never again. Zero stars is impossible, otherwise I would have given them.
Update: Returning after a few years under new management, I noticed an improvement in the service. The food quality is excellent. The stars have now gone from 1 to 4.
16/02/2026: A refined atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious sandwiches that invite you to choose. I also tried the pizza, which was thin and well-topped; I wasn't expecting it (though I really enjoyed it).
The prices may be a bit high for the location (Rivergaro), but they're in line with the food and service.
Recommended.

02/11/2025: A surprise set menu; you don't know what you're going to eat. There were 8 or 9 courses. Everything was delicious, with just the right amount of spices and no fusion cuisine. We stumbled upon it by chance and were so glad we did. If you can afford a little more, this place won't disappoint. Oh! And the bread they save for you to take home is extraordinary.

24/09/2025: Excessive prices for the quality, but especially the quantity of ice cream on a brioche that cost €6 plus €0.50 for extra cream! I admit the price increases and all, but if you're shelling out that kind of money, the product has to be up to par.

28/11/2025: The waiter was not at all professional. On November 24, 2025, I ordered spaghetti with scampi and broccoli for dinner. He brought me the dish I ordered, and I noticed it was without broccoli. I called the waiter and brought it up. At first, he told me the broccoli was blended into the sauce, but when I insisted, he went to ask the chef. He returned five minutes later, saying the chef forgot to add the broccoli and apologized for the mix-up. But what's worse is that he didn't offer to remake the dish or offer an alternative, and at the end of the evening, he presented me with the full bill, including the spaghetti. The staff didn't live up to the elegant setting.

When paying we were charged €2.50 per person for “bread and service”, which may be a bit abusive but the total did not reach €20 per person
