06/10/2025: On Sunday, October 4th, my wife and I decided to take a trip to the hills near Pianello, specifically to Caminata, to try the legendary local Bataro'. Made with flour and cornmeal, it's elongated and comes with various fillings. My favorite is pancetta from Piacenza and gorgonzola, excellent with red onion, but many are excellent with coppa, prosciutto, and various cheeses. The staff is friendly and smiling, like Maura, the waitress, who puts you at ease. The wait times are like any other restaurant, depending on how busy it is. In addition to the Bataro', they also make excellent pizzas. I highly recommend it. In addition to a tour of the beautiful Val Tidone valley, among the vineyard-filled hills, you can enjoy an excellent lunch or dinner accompanied by a glass of good wine. P.S. I recommend booking the Bataro' at least two days in advance to avoid the risk of not being able to enjoy it when you order. All the best from Mario and Simona.

26/09/2025: I'll start by saying I'm not the type to review businesses, but in this case I'm happy to give it 5 stars ONLY for the all-rounder named Maura! Nothing to say about the bataró and the pizzas, but the kitchen is a bit lacking! The place is nice and welcoming! Nice place, poorly managed, actually run by just one girl (Maura) who works her ass off!!! While someone else, who should be the boss, is sitting comfortably smoking cigarettes and someone else is behind the counter drinking white wine!!! I recommend it for anyone who wants to eat excellent sandwiches or a good pizza in addition to the burgers!!! But the real kitchen is still missing!!!

30/09/2025: I stayed for one night with my family. Each room is a little gem where you can relax: welcoming, spacious, and quiet. Outside, there's a large garden with a swimming pool. Ample parking. I only have two complaints: the three children stayed in one room and us parents in another on the upper floor. Also, the breakfast area wasn't adequate for the number of guests (perhaps because the restaurant was already closed), and the new arrivals had limited choices at the buffet. But this didn't detract from the pleasure of staying at Villa Costanza. I recommend it, and if we have the opportunity, we'll return.

The outdoor area is small but very well-kept and comfortable. Food: A wide selection of truly high-quality dishes. Balanced flavors and fresh ingredients. The fish is above-average quality. The plating is simple but elegant and pleasing to the eye. Good wines. The desserts are a must-try, a perfect finish to an excellent meal. Service: Impeccable. Attentive but not intrusive. Friendly. Knowledgeable about the menu, it enhanced my dining experience. Value for Money: In my opinion, excellent. Fair price and high food quality. Plus: Very friendly and approachable owner. Attentive to the tastes and needs of his guests. A perfect place for romantic dinners but also for outings with friends. Ample parking. Recommended.

13/09/2025: I've been coming here as often as I can since I discovered this gem a few months ago. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail: from the ambiance to the service. The food is definitely the highlight. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal—the menu changes daily and offers a variety of meat and fish options. It's definitely the best fish I've ever eaten in Piacenza. The first courses are equally delicious. They also offer a fixed lunch menu, so for €25 you get an entrée, first course, second course, dessert/fruit, a glass of wine, water, and coffee—so the price is truly excellent for such an excellent offering. I recommend it to everyone.
