07/06/2025: What a delicious discovery La Boutique del Gelato in Piacenza! During a quick break from a conference, we indulged in a moment of pure pleasure that definitely recharged our batteries. We tasted two cones that were a real marvel: one with the Spanish and coconut flavors, and the other with the winning combination of Nutella and pistachio. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, with quality ingredients that could be clearly tasted. The gelato was creamy to perfection and the flavors were intense and true to the originals. Even though ours was a quick stop, the experience was memorable. If you are in Piacenza and looking for artisanal gelato of the highest quality, La Boutique del Gelato is absolutely not to be missed!

15/06/2025: Historic place in Piacenza. We come here mostly for a pint of Guinness. Wide selection of sandwiches (Il Lurido first and foremost), focaccias and bruschettas in particular. Also gluten free.

11/06/2025: I’m still dreaming about this meal — hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Italy. Every single dish was bursting with freshness and flavor. The pizza was absolute perfection: that airy, charred crust, creamy mozzarella, sweet tomatoes, and the touch of fresh basil… chef’s kiss. The seafood pasta was light yet flavorful, with tender clams and a perfect garlic-sauce. And don’t get me started on the shrimp and calamari — so tender and seasoned just right. Even the sides were impressive — crispy potatoes with charred tomato and fresh herbs? Yes, please. And then came dessert… both were so elegant and not overly sweet. The raspberry one was refreshing and fruity, while the other had this lovely balance of whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Every detail — the handmade ceramic plates, the charming glassware, the cozy ambiance — made the whole experience feel special. If you find yourself anywhere near here, this place is an absolute must. I’d come back in a heartbeat

10/06/2025: We were visiting Italy and we tried the pizza and it was one of the best pizzas we tried in Italy. We met Chef Elias and he was one of the nicest people. He welcomed us very much and treated us well in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet Chef Yaqoub. I hope everyone tries the restaurant if they visit Italy 🫡🍕

28/06/2025: Two stars just because I feel generous for charity beautiful place, but the game is not worth the candle. An experience to forget, you can't wait two hours between appetizer and main courses which were not even as described on the menu, not to mention the dessert which should have been a pavlova had a teaspoon of cream in the middle two pieces of fruit and it tasted like it was alive in a disgusting way all this for the change of 36 euros per person. No experience to forget really 👎

21/06/2025: Farmhouse with a spectacular view of the Trebbia. Family atmosphere. Being in the middle of the greenery you are very comfortable even if it is hot.

01/04/2025: Phenomenal pizzeria, they are fast, helpful and very kind, the pizza slices are spectacular and the focaccias are fantastic. Top of the top place, I strongly recommend going there because you will not regret it.

25/06/2025: We came for batorö, a local specialty, and ate pizza, for me the wine was delicious and well served, but the pizza was too crumbly. The ingredients were very fresh and the service was friendly 🤞 next time we will make a reservation at this place.

16/06/2025: We order pizzas (2) at 7:30 pm. I arrive at 7:25 pm and they were already ready on the counter. I ask if they had been out for a while and they tell me no. Result? We had to heat them up at home.

13/05/2025: Unfortunately I ate badly, I don't know if I didn't know how to choose, but the appetizer was very salty, almost inedible. The combination of meat and sauce offered was not balanced at all. The second fish course was soulless. A much vaunted place that I wanted to go to disappointed me a lot, also because the prices are very high.

The person who will prepare your pizza does not have the hands of a pizza chef… but of a craftsman who brings to the table a unique product made with love. A welcoming staff is the setting for this unique culinary experience. A pizzeria that will certainly become a constant appointment in your evenings in Piacenza. 01/07/2025: Saturday night we went with a reservation. After over an hour and a half they had only brought us an appetizer. When the pasta arrived, it was completely raw and so we sent it back to the kitchen, where the owner commented "well now they're still waiting". At the table we had a two-year-old girl waiting for dinner. When we got up to leave, there were no apologies or explanations or even a minimum of respect at least towards the girl for whom they could have at least brought two slices of salami. The other tables were waiting like us. If you can't handle 50 covers, don't take them. A bad night happens, but respect for the customer is shown by at least trying to plug the wait for the children

18/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante non avendo trovato aperto quello scelto in precedenza............ piacevole scoperta in tutti i sensi, dall' ottimo servizio all' atmosfera alla qualità dei piatti realizzati nel rispetto della tradizione piacentina nonché nella raffinatezza delle materie prime. Locale molto curato sia all' esterno che all' interno. Complimenti!!!!

30/05/2025: Alison Hunt 5/5 8 minutes ago on Google What a find this lovely hotel was. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our lovely room by Rececca who was very efficient and helpful. After settling in we enjoyed beers and complimentary savouries in the garden. It was lovely to have a jacuzzi bath after a long day's hiking. The grounds are magnificent and we saw rabbits and were serenaded by all the frogs in the pond. They were hilarious and drowned out road and train noise. This is a wedding/ party venue and we were lucky that there was an event on so we were able to have dinner there as we didn't fancy having to hike back into town. Dinner was absolutely delicious and very reasonable for all that we had. There were lots of local specialties for us to try and Matthew our excellent waiter took the time to explain things to us. Both he and Rebecca spoke English very well. Breakfast was on site and there was a good selection of savoury and sweet delights to tempt us including fresh fruit salad. Coffee was lovely too.
