14/09/2025: On Google maps it calls this place a sandwich shop, it is very much more than that, they have a bar with a nice selection of beer, and very good house wine. We had an amazingly good toasty and all the time finding and interesting tin, Beer can, or novelty along the walls. Such an interesting place, a place where the locals go and can definitely recommend for a good beer, some nice wine and a really tasty toasty.
22/07/2025: I returned there today after 30 years, I must say that everything has remained unchanged except the owner who was a boy and is now almost old.

02/07/2025: I'm on vacation for a few days and we were looking for another place, I'll be honest, but not finding it we stopped here and we were pleasantly surprised by this place. I ate a hamburger not very big but very good that fully satisfied my appetite accompanied by wonderful baked potatoes. Clean bathroom (which lately is a problem to find) and very kind staff. Well done!!
01/07/2025: By chance I came to eat for dinner and it was a nice discovery! I took a smash burger and all the ingredients were really fresh, I think the bread was made by them because it was really soft and crunchy, the baked potatoes were real fresh potatoes, every bite was a pleasant discovery for the palate! Kind and very helpful staff, excellent cleanliness of the place. If you pass by these parts I highly recommend it!

14/07/2025: I had the pleasure of having breakfast at Pasticceria Cioccolateria Chocolat in Ferrara, and the experience was truly delicious. I tried a Pain Suisse and a Cinnamon Roll, and I must say, both were exceptional.
The Pain Suisse was perfectly flaky, buttery, and filled with a rich, velvety custard that melted in your mouth. A true treat for the palate.
The Cinnamon Roll was equally as delicious: soft, fragrant with cinnamon, and with a sweet but not cloying glaze. Every bite was a pleasure.
The quality of the ingredients is evident, and the craftsmanship is evident in every detail. If you're looking for a place to enjoy excellent baked goods and start your day off right in Ferrara, Pasticceria Cioccolateria Chocolat is undoubtedly a must-see. I'll definitely be back to try other specialties!

15/09/2025: Too expensive... We're in a village hamlet, in a tavern, but the prices are exorbitant... In much more renowned establishments and in cities like Rovigo, you spend much less. Even at the cafe and bar... At Pezzoli, a coffee costs €1.50 and a half-liter plastic bottle of water costs €2, which is unbearable...

11/10/2025: I stopped here for lunch with my parents and brother. A very nice place located in the Piazza del Castello. We ordered a mixed antipasto, two pasta trios, spaghetti with squid ink, and linguine with clams, bottarga, and lime. The waiters were friendly. Good value. Recommended.

The service was a bit lacking, and the wine list wasn't updated, as they didn't bring us the wine we requested.
The back room overlooks a small enclosed courtyard that isn't exactly well-furnished.

07/10/2025: Signora Emilia's restaurant offers some typical dishes: veal cutlet with melted cheese, tomato meatballs, a good Sangiovese wine, fillet with fresh porcini mushrooms.... the service of the two young waitresses is extraordinary.
04/10/2025: The food... worthy of the location, the refined, elegant, and friendly staff... I'd go back if I could, but I live 400 km away... Highly recommended...

30/09/2025: DISASTROUS experience!!!
I had ordered my birthday cake two weeks in advance: I called and spoke with the husband first, who had his wife call me back since she's the cake maker. We agreed on the cake and, of course, the date. On the evening of my birthday, I went to pick up the cake: I saw some strange movements... I waited, and the wife came down and said she hadn't made any cake and had no memory of this call. Mind you, the husband confirmed my call, and she continued to deny it. But the thing that bothered me the most (because mistakes can always happen) was that at this point, instead of offering a solution (the restaurant was 50 meters from the ice cream shop), she said she couldn't do anything. Could she just bring the ice cream and offer it?!? I asked her if she had anything else or could she make me something right away... nothing! And, the cherry on top, she didn't even apologize!!! I'm speechless! Imagine if his face had been for a child... Too bad, but not everyone is professional!
