27/07/2025: Went on July 23rd for lunch. The service was terrible, the waitress was rude and arrogant. The bread was stale, the wait was long, and the dishes were brought Chinese-style (all at once). The ingredients were poor quality and frozen, and they didn't even know what a doggy bag was. In short, if you happen to be there, I'd like to remind you that there are seven beaches and a wide choice of restaurants.

12/07/2025: Wide spaces and everything is comfortable. But if you think loud music in the ciringhito attracts people, well, I think the opposite is true. People want to communicate and not stay quiet because they can't hear each other. Chill music is nice, but at least at a moderate volume. And I'm three rows back. I don't dare think about the ciringhito. (Empty...)

28/05/2025: Nice little place, wide selection of teas to taste on site (and also to buy) of excellent quality. Prices a little high but nice experience different from the usual.

06/08/2025: We tried this restaurant for an unplanned dinner. They seated us outside in the small square. The atmosphere was pleasant, but I struggled all evening with my chair slipping on the round stones. It was very annoying, and at one point I almost fell over backwards. Luckily, the waiter saw me and helped me find a stable position. As for the food, the pinzini were good; perhaps with the cured meats, I would have preferred a few slices of prosciutto along with the rest. The main courses were decent. The bill, around €70, is in line with the central area of the city. I'd definitely try their pizzas; I've seen some interesting ones. And I'd ask for a seat in the small square inside, which has cobblestones instead of round stones.

02/08/2025: A very nice restaurant right in the city center, especially for the breathtaking view directly of the Estense Castle. Varied menu, including meat, fish, pizza, and burgers. Good quality and beautifully presented food. Fast and friendly service. Recommended.

13/08/2025: Super delicious ice cream! I wish I could try more. €3 for two very large scoops of vegan ice cream is reasonable compared to other ice cream parlors. When I was there, there were six vegan, sugar-free flavors. The Bacio was delicious and tasted sweet, and the pistachio ice cream was equally delicious and natural. Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: August 2025 update: Unfortunately, after the guys managed to sell the shop, the rating went from 5 to 1 star. Starting with cleanliness, you can't mop the floor, pick up trash, or serve ice cream without cleaning your hands. Now let's move on to the ice cream: it may be artisanal (the law allows it), but at least use good mixes and store the ice cream properly. When we stopped by at the end of the evening, there were even ice crystals in the dark chocolate. Pistachios couldn't be more chemically processed than this. I'm practically giving them one star; I would have given them less. August 2020: Excellent ice creams, very well made. They also offer vegan options (though I'm not interested). Prices are in line with other ice cream shops (Milanese prices, I'd say) but with quality.

28/07/2025: Good pizza. In July 2025, from 11:30 a.m. onward, all pizzas are half price.

05/07/2025: Years ago there was more care for the preparations, the pizzas are good but…and then the music. Once they played good rock now…bah. You eat and leave quickly.

27/07/2025: Excellent pizza on the way from Rimini! Homely and authentic atmosphere where you eat with the locals. Great and very pleasant service! ❤️ The owner was very friendly, chatted with us and gave lots of recommendations where to stop along the way. We recommend everyone who is passing by to stop here. It's really worth it 😊.

06/08/2025: Extremely mediocre pizzeria. I don't want to say anything bad, just say it's mediocre. The pizza itself isn't bad, it's just average, like a thousand other pizzerias; it doesn't stand out in any particular way. The real problems are all the side effects: we waited a full 55 minutes for a pizza; we arrived at 8:30, took the order at 8:45, and the pizzas arrived at 9:40. Truly too long for pizzas. Furthermore, one of the pizzas was missing an ingredient (sausage). The wait staff kindly offered to remake the pizza, but we refused because my friend was very hungry and didn't want to wait that long. Furthermore, when it came to the bill, the waiter, a young, polite but perhaps unfamiliar with the cash register system, made a mistake, but these things happen. What's sad is that the woman who came to his aid (a much older woman than this guy) publicly scolded him in front of us, who were a bit shocked. I understand everything, but giving such harsh answers in front of customers doesn't make you look good. Instead, take the employee aside and explain the mistake without humiliating him in front of the customers. I don't know, we weren't particularly impressed with the place, but our group of friends agreed, I don't think we'll be back.

14/07/2025: The food was acceptable, nothing extraordinary. Terrible service from the owner. He got very upset because at the checkout we were deciding to pay part of the amount in cash. He yelled at us and told us we were wasting his time! They changed the menu price by 20 euros, claiming we had modified an order. Conclusion: don't go there! There are better places in Ferrara. And with polite owners. Tourists should be respected!

27/06/2025: I asked for a salty Ferrarese pie, exceptional, then an iced coffee. It was served directly on ice, eliminating my option to add sugar separately, you don't serve iced coffee like that!

12/08/2025: It's a shopping centre, like many others... hypermarket run by Bennet, many surrounding shops (unfortunately the Timberland one left years ago). Large car park, in front of a building with clothes shops, on the first floor cinema, bowling and pizzeria/sandwich shop.

09/07/2025: For the "service" it offers, ask for the price difference between a coffee and a macchiato.....🤦🏻‍♀️

03/07/2025: I stopped by this morning for breakfast. Cappuccio (1.80) and coffee (1.40) acceptable let's say... Together we take two puff pastry fans of very normal sizes.....on the receipt they are called special brioches... Unfortunately the special price was 2.00 euros each... but they seemed to have been made yesterday... in fact the very little cream that was in the middle of the fan was hard...it's not because of the price.. but at least the freshness....

13/04/2025: I was in Ferrara for the weekend with my boyfriend and, after dinner, I wanted a crêpe... luckily we found La Crêperie di Sara! The crêpe was really delicious and Sara was super kind and helpful. If you are from Ferrara or are visiting this beautiful city, I highly recommend it!
