01/02/2026: We wanted to try it because it was recommended to us. I have to say the crocche were good and stringy👍the montanara on the other hand had a hard dough (for my taste) but good. The pizzas, on the other hand, had really excellent ingredients, both my panciotto was very delicate (delicious yellow datterini tomatoes), while the diavola was a little too strong and the salami (my thing) I preferred it in strips, in rounds seems a bit poor. In any case, the light dough, even if I don't know how to explain it, didn't convince me. Always personal opinion 🙌

09/06/2026: I'm happy to depart from my usual posts because I'm aware that cuisine, the community that inhabits a place, and what they have achieved in the region are part of our shared heritage and therefore must be recognized and valued.
Well, the dish presented today by Chef Carlo at the TERRENOSTRE Restaurant in Mercato San Severino was one of those you remember long after you leave, because "wisdom at the table" always bears fruit! The delicacy of broccoli and the savory flavor of mussels coexist sublimely in this dish, which can be enjoyed at TERRENOSTRE even out of season:

06/06/2026: A place that has become a second home for us. Pizza, meat, appetizers, and first courses: whatever you eat, you'll be satisfied and feel right at home. Friendly, efficient service, and reasonable wait times. Spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, ideal for large groups or a family evening with kids. Convenient parking in front. Overall, a top rating!

13/06/2026: A local hidden gem with an intimate feel. Quiet and far from the crowds, but has an accessible bus stop that drops you off at Amalfi (takes ~40mins.)
Views are beautiful.

04/05/2026: A positive experience for this large restaurant with plenty of tables, both inside and outside. We quickly chose something to eat because the place was almost full. We enjoyed both the fried pizza strips and the two pizzas (only the sausage on the PATATA pizza was dry and made the pizza even drier, in our opinion). The place is nice, and we even found a band that played, although it was a bit loud. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes.
Fair prices for the products chosen. Recommended.

23/03/2026: I'd been wanting to visit the Sinodo restaurant for a while. I took the opportunity to take a Sunday morning stroll through the Vallo della Lucania market and a stroll around the center. We chose the menu of the day: fusilli with Cilento ragù, pork loin stuffed with potatoes, and strawberries with cream. It cost €20 per person, excluding drinks and table service. Everything was excellent. Thank you for your kindness. The restaurant is new and well-kept, spotlessly clean, and the à la carte menu is reasonably priced. A great find. We'll be back...and I recommend it.

12/11/2025: From the terrace, there's a breathtaking view of the sea, the small towns along the coast, and Maiori.
We ordered an Amalfi Coast lemon drink there, which was very disappointing (apart from lemon, it had no flavor and was also expensive). Therefore, only stars for the view! After two years, we went back and had snacks and toast with beer. Everything was perfect this time! We enjoyed the fantastic view of the blue sea and the towns in wonderful sunshine. 😊
