28/04/2025: Siamo giunti il 25 aprile in questo meraviglioso posto, la locanda di san Francesco,ad attenderci con calore gentilezza il signor Antonio il proprietario della struttura, ci siamo sentiti subito in famiglia, le camere pulite in ogni dettaglio,abbiamo usufruito del pacchetto, del escursione guidata eccellentemente sul fiume Leo esperienza ke non dimenticherò mai,ke dire del cibo, ottimo e' abbondante, curato da ogni dettaglio dai camerieri, sempre pronti, per ogni esigenza, con i loro sorrisi e la loro eleganza, siamo andati via ieri mattina non nego ke sotto i miei occhiali da sole nascondevo una lacrime,per aver lasciato questo posto ke spero si ritornare presto, e che mi manca già da morire,un grazie grande ancora a tutti voi e ci abbraccio ad uno ad uno, vi consiglio tutti vivamente di andare.❤️

23/04/2025: Abbiamo trascorso il week end di Pasqua e’ stata un’esperienza bellissima.Fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e professionalità da tutto lo staff sempre sorridente e disponibile.La era pulita, luminosa il letto comoda e la tranquillità del luogo ci hanno regalato un sonno rigenerante.La colazione…una vera coccola!Ricca ,varia,con prodotti freschissimi e anche qualche deliziosa sorpresa pasquale che abbiamo apprezzato. Anche il ristorante merita una menzione speciale:piatti gustosissimi e ben presentati.Nel prezzo erano comprese le gite guidate sul Pollino .Un grazie sincero a tutto il personale per aver reso la nostra Pasqua così speciale.torneremo sicuramente.

03/05/2025: An experience that teaches how much the way we feel welcomed matters. Saturday evening, 7.30pm. A friend and I enter the Ducale Ristorante & Pizzeria in Irsina, we smile, we greet with a simple and genuine "Good evening". The answer? A dry, cold and almost aggressive "Say!", pronounced by a man behind the counter, as if our greeting were an annoyance and not an act of education. We ask: “A table for two, please.” Without really looking at us, he replies icily: “At 8pm.” And he sends us away. In that moment, more than rejected, we felt invisible. The "no" is not the problem. It's as they say. It is the absence of empathy, of respect, of minimal human hospitality. The mind records these experiences more than one imagines: a door that closes, a wrong tone, one gesture too many can leave their mark. Yet, it was 7.30pm, and Google clearly indicates that the place is open from 6.30pm to 12am. The refusal was not justified by any rule, but only by an attitude. Welcoming isn't just serving food, it's creating connections. It's about making people feel welcome. And in this, unfortunately, the Ducale failed completely.

Oggi ho comprato delle focacce divine! E il pane è ottimo, cosa difficile di questi tempi... Continuate così 😊😊😊

19/05/2025: I returned here after 5 years. However, the culinary experience did not fully convince us. Some dishes seemed a little below average, in particular the soffritto which could have been lighter and better balanced in flavors. The orecchiette or strascinati with crusco bread, which was not crusco! The service also left us with some doubts: the staff was correct, but at times not very welcoming, as if every request was a little too much. Too bad, because with a little more attention both in the kitchen and in the welcome, this place could really offer an experience worthy of its potential.

11/05/2025: Increíble experiencia de cena y lo recomendaría encarecidamente! Mi esposa y yo tuvimos un menú degustación de 5 platos con maridaje de vinos y la comida y el servicio fue de los mejores que hemos disfrutado en cualquier parte del mundo. Francesco y Anna nos miraban muy bien. Francesco es uno de los propietarios y un sumiller y proporcionó información detallada sobre los vinos locales de Apulia y Basiliciata, así como recomendaciones para experiencias gastronómicas excelentes en otras ciudades de Apulia. El vino blanco y los dos tintos Aglianico eran excelentes! El restaurante se encuentra en el casco antiguo de Matera con una espectacular terraza y vistas. Para la buena comida Michelin, el precio era muy razonable y lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

30/04/2025: Do it. Get the tasting menu. Its really fun. It wasnt the BEST tasting menu i’ve had but the presentation made up for it. The explanations of the dishes were exquisite but when I would taste them, they kinda tasted regular EXCEPT the scallop tartare. That was magnifique. Service is an 11/10, makes you feel like aristocracy. Its also cute inside and the attention to cuttlery is a nice touch.

09/05/2025: The hotel is about a few hundred meters from the very center, on the access road, very quiet and nice. The rooms are nice, clean, quite large and equipped, a small minus is the "dummy" fridge, but otherwise it's great. The lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. The breakfasts are very tasty, Italian style. A hotel restaurant with a large selection at affordable prices. The hotel itself is very good in terms of price/quality ratio. I wholeheartedly recommend it. I will definitely come back on my next trips. Thank you

27/04/2025: Cozy hotel. Not very modern due to the carpet everywhere but clean rooms. Courtesy set including slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste and sewing set! Abundant breakfast and above all everything done by them. They cater to celiacs with packaged products. The owner gifts customers with a pack of her delicious biscuits. Advised!

02/05/2025: We were on holiday in Matera, and were looking for a pub where we could watch the Napoli match. Here, in addition to having had the opportunity to see the match, we came across an excellent pub, where the food is delicious and of high quality, there is also a good variety of beers, and the staff is also welcoming and kind. If we were to return to Matera we will definitely see each other again. Forza Napoli always and Forza Matera ❤️

19/05/2025: When you walk along Via Del Corso the smell you can smell along the street can only take you straight to this wonderful bakery. Years of Matera tradition where bread, focaccia and biscuits have an exceptional flavour, a place where the eyes, nose and taste buds want their share😃😃😃 Chapeau

05/05/2025: The echo of the river 😍 a fantastic experience on Easter Monday,...the location externally appears particularly well-kept and scenic, the internal environment equally well kept.....clean, another important thing! excellent food!!! a very polite and kind lady served us at the table, attentive in case something was missing and immediately ready to bring it at the table! I highly recommend it
