02/03/2025: We had dinner at La Lopa, in the heart of Matera, and were really satisfied. We ate very well, tasting different courses, all delicious and prepared with great attention to traditional flavours. The staff is extremely kind and thoughtful, making us feel at home from the first moment. Sincere compliments to the owners, to the waiters who do an impeccable job (and I also really thank you for having a candle available that turned a corner and made my birthday special!) and above all to the chefs, true culinary artists. The structure is taken care of down to the smallest detail, with a perfect location and a truly unique touch: an underground cinema that makes the experience even more special. We will definitely return - a place that absolutely deserves to be experienced!

25/02/2025: Enchanting place divided into elegant caves, in one they broadcast a mini film on the history of Matera... A great impression for a romantic dinner. A variety of inviting revisited local dishes. With a complete meal, 2 of us ate. The waiters are competent and kind... Everything perfect

04/03/2025: Local 2 steps from the tourist center of Matera and its Sassi. It is a delicatessen that balances takeaway with restaurant service at tables on site. Good assortment of first courses, second courses and side dishes, typical of the area, ready and available on the counter and heated on the spot with the microwave. Very friendly staff, excellent value for money. Advised!

09/01/2025: In the center of Sasso this pub offers excellent beer, both on tap and in bottles. Traditional food from Lucania and beyond, cooked well with excellent raw materials, a family and welcoming environment. I recommend appetizer and steak.

21/08/2024: Il gelato è buono, niente da dire: cremoso, gusti intensi e ben equilibrati. Però, francamente, la quantità lascia parecchio a desiderare. Non è possibile pagare un certo prezzo e ritrovarsi con due palline minuscole. Vengo spesso e non è la prima volta che succede, il tempo di uscire dal locale che è già finito. Posso apprezzare la qualità, ma un po' più di generosità non guasterebbe.

04/02/2025: An over the top but nice pizza chef, he made me laugh. Good pizzas except one with cherry tomatoes that tasted of acid. The only negative note: we ordered the beers together with the pizzas. They brought us some beers without telling us that they were artisanal so you pay a premium. To be fair, the customer should be asked: what beers? Normal or artisanal? To be improved in terms of transparency.🤔

23/01/2025: Don’t go to this place on a slow day. I got a food poisoning because the food wasn’t fresh.
