06/04/2024: My experience dates back to Easter and I can't say anything bad about the environment which, as expected, is very beautiful and evocative, in one of the most beautiful spots in the city. The food was quite good, although not as special as described in the reviews, but the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired! The room manager was kind and welcoming, unfortunately she left us in the hands of a waiter who I don't even know how to define. To get water we had to ask for it several times, giving up the last jug due to exhaustion. Ditto for the wine, almost as if it were a favor (among other things, the second bottle was not the one we chose). The glass from a broken glass that was not ours remained under the table for the entire lunch despite our repeated requests to remove them. But what's worse is that we also paid for dishes that never arrived at the table and unfortunately we realized it too late. It's very sad because those who are local certainly won't come back...

06/04/2024: I stayed 7 days in Matera with my wife and we tried the "Ai Palmenti" restaurant, we had a great time, friendly and helpful staff, splendid location located inside a typical local cave, delicious food prepared with the freshest raw materials first choice and attention to detail, during our stay we returned a second time.... highly recommended.

25/11/2023: Dinner with friends. Very narrow place in which it was impossible to move both for us customers and for the staff... To be honest it must be said that this place tries to offer pizzas with refined ingredients. However, I ordered a pizza with cedar ricotta, Sichuan pepper and Mazara prawn but at first glance the prawn didn't seem to be the one described on the menu. Furthermore, I am told that the citron ricotta is not available... I would have expected to have the possibility of being able to change the pizza but without an alternative I am told that stracciatella will be used instead of the citron ricotta... and amen. Good desserts also well presented. Prices normal... we joked with the owner who was kind by offering a "drop" (literal) of bitters. Let's say I would go back but I'm not so sure.

03/03/2024: Today I was a guest at the Iris Restaurant with my wife and a couple of friends. The place was very clean, the food was excellent, the staff were very kind, professional, very attentive to satisfying the needs of the customers. Excellent value for money: I recommend it.

21/02/2024: Le 5 stelle le metto per non pregiudicare la media del ristorante, poichè non ho cenato in questo ristorante; di fatto non mi hanno fatto accomodare di sabato sera alle 20.00, ero solo e la sala era in quel momento del tutto vuota (sicuramente del tutto prenotata ma vuota). Recensisco per dare un consiglio: quando in un paese si è il solo posto dove mangiare, la ristorazione diventa un servizio pubblico che in qualche modo dovrebbe essere garantito. Non dubito che siate davvero bravi in cucina ma abbiate più rispetto del vostro ruolo sociale in un posto incantevole come Anzi. In questo modo sarete anche ambasciatori validi della vostra terra.

10/03/2024: Dopo diverse esperienze non fa altro che riconfermarsi il nostro ristorante di sushi preferito. I proprietari sono molto e sanno come guidarti nel percorso gastronomico. Roll fantastici fantastici,molto affascinante è l’ accostamento della tradizione giapponese con quella lucana. Carta dei vini molto dettagliata e dolci superlativi.

17/02/2024: The evening did not live up to the prestige it boasts! Room completely dark. Unfortunately very disappointing service, really slow, but also the food. The “waiters” (if they can be called that) did not wear any uniform; even if the family or owners of the place do not present a very professional image. The food arrived very late and was really nothing special, I would dare say almost unpleasant, my husband and I were even slightly sick. The bill was done without giving the receipt with the details of the order, in fact according to our accounts we had to pay at least €20 less. My husband avoided replying to avoid protesting in public. I will not return, I do not recommend.

31/03/2024: We went to this restaurant based on the reviews. Very beautiful and particular location and this is where the positive aspects stop. The food is good but nothing special. Skyrocketing prices for a menu that has 80% frozen products. Paid a fortune and left hungry. Never again in my life. I ate better and spent much, much less.

05/04/2024: Place discovered by chance, I recommend it, fantastic food, even better location and the service makes you feel at home, since I was there near the closing of the place the staff without knowing me invited me to have a drink with them... it was like being at home, this is southern hospitality!!

31/03/2024: The environment certainly cannot be defined as welcoming, in fact the lochescion is old and anonymous. Out of hunger I ate a mixed grill of meat: a cut of lamb with only bones and an insignificant steak, the rest was just passable. Poor service and HIGH BILL for what it offers.
