I fell in love with this place! It's surrounded by greenery and has so many different animals to admire, plus there are some large dogs roaming free that kept us company the whole time. I highly recommend it for animal lovers; for me, it was therapeutic! The girl who welcomed us was super kind and helpful and made us a hearty and delicious breakfast. We'll definitely be back! Thank you ❤️

My experience is limited to the restaurant.
The place is spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
The dishes are well-prepared, flavorful, and plentiful.
The price of the fixed menu (€40) is fair and in line with the (excellent) quality of the products served.
There is a but: the kitchen organization.
We sat down at 1:00 PM, and the first course arrived at 2:00 PM.
To finish the six-course meal, we waited 4 hours—too long, especially considering the menu wasn't à la carte.
My review is intended as a call for improvement, because the place and the dishes deserve much more than 4 stars.

Penny and I had the most amazing stay at this incredible place. We were made to feel so welcome by Stefania who went above and beyond to look after us even though our stay was in the low season. We had a very comfortable room but the highlight was the evening meal which was the most delicious local produce cooked to perfection. An experience and a stay that we will cherish always. Thank you 🙏🏻

The location is simply fantastic. The restaurant is an old farmhouse steeped in history, which the sweet waitress passionately shared with us. Today, it's an agriturismo with authentic charm, furnished by the owner Antonio with unique pieces from the past that make the atmosphere even more evocative.
Upon entering, you're greeted by a splendid Moto Guzzi Falcone, a bicycle suspended from the ceiling, and an ancient wine press that recounts the traditions of times gone by. At the checkout, there's a precious collection of vintage cameras: you immediately sense the owner's passion for photography.
The dining room confirms this: the walls are adorned with numerous framed artistic photographs, photographs of animals and landscapes captured in wonderful moments, capable of moving and transporting the eye.
With such a refined atmosphere, the cuisine couldn't be less impressive. We enjoyed traditional dishes, such as "Lu Pan cuott," alongside more innovative options. Each dish was flavorful and balanced: the flavors never overpowered, but blended harmoniously, allowing us to appreciate each individual ingredient.
The staff was incredibly courteous and professional. The owner, with great kindness, introduced us to a dish not yet on the menu: ravioli filled with "cutturiedd" mutton, accompanied by a creamy caciocavallo cheese and cruschi peppers that were simply out of this world. An explosion of authentic and well-balanced flavors.
The quality-price ratio was excellent: we couldn't have asked for better. We'll definitely be back to try "Lu cuttudiedd" as well.
An experience we highly recommend!

I spent just one night at Agriturismo Il Riccio, in Rionero in Vulture (PZ), yet it was enough for that place to linger in my memory like a long, clear, and necessary breath.
Here, tranquility isn't an abstract concept: it's a real, almost tangible presence. It settles discreetly on things, on the contours of the landscape, on the evening silence, on the fresh, clean air that seems to "cleanse" the mind. It's the kind of peace that doesn't stun, but restores.
The room is simple, without unnecessary frills, but what's striking is the genuine attention to detail: order, the smell of cleanliness. You can sense the tangible dignity of well-made places, more about substance than show.
And then there's Stefania, the soul and driving force of the agriturismo: a determined young woman, kind as those who don't pretend to be polite can be, and, it must be said, an excellent cook. The dinner was a small journey through local culture and expertise: a pasta dish with white ragù and crusco peppers, flavorful and typical, capable of expressing this region in a single bite; then a pork cheek fillet with pumpkin flan, perfectly cooked, balanced, full, and satisfying. And the finale... irresistible: an almond brittle so good it deserved a second helping.
But what makes the experience truly unique is what happens afterward, when the meal ends and the most human part remains: Stefania stopped to talk with us, with the luminous frankness of someone who has experienced hardship and is unashamed of it. She told us about the nine years of hardship, the energy invested, the daily tenacity; and also about her personal journey, a degree in Economics and Business, which, together with her partner, she is trying to transform into a project: to relaunch a region with enormous potential but still too little publicized.
For this reason, coming to Il Riccio isn't just a choice for accommodation or good food: it's almost a small moral duty, in the best sense of the word, to support a young, serious dream, made of real work and concrete hope. And the reward is immediate: you leave feeling welcomed, nourished, and listened to.
A detail worth mentioning, because it adds joy and lightheartedness to the experience: it's a paradise for children. There's plenty of space to run around, to breathe in true freedom; you can see the geese up close and, above all, there are three affectionate dogs, always ready and eager for endless cuddles. A simple and happy little world, where even the littlest ones immediately feel at home.
The only drawback is the weak and slow Wi-Fi. It needs improvement.
Highly recommended for those seeking peace, fresh air, sincere cuisine, and the kind of hospitality that, more than "serving," cares. You will truly leave feeling refreshed.

Excellent experience for a two-night stay at this slightly remote farmhouse, where relaxation, silence, and tranquility are the priority.
Excellent, comfortable, and clean rooms.
Good sweet and savory breakfast, well-prepared and well-served, with everything you need to start the day off right.
Unfortunately, we didn't try the kitchen, as it wasn't open when we were there. But we had a wonderful dinner at their other restaurant, "Il Vulcano." 💪🏼🏍👍🏼🏍👏🏼🏍

A beautiful property, surrounded by greenery, just a short distance from the Monticchio lakes. The welcome was perfect, the spaces are well-maintained and well-maintained. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a beautiful panoramic view. The staff was friendly and always available. We stayed for New Year's Eve and were truly satisfied. The menu was truly surprising; everything was impeccably prepared. Breakfast was also much appreciated. Congratulations!
