17/03/2024: Oggi 17 marzo, pranzo con amici, ospiti. Premesso che le mie origini sono lucane, quindi abituato fin da bambino alla cucina delle nonne lucane e madre lucana. Un pranzo così mia nonna e mia madre non lo avrebbero preparato neanche per il cane di famiglia. Vi dico solo che è finita, dopo poche ore con vomito da parte di mio figlio, nonostante avesse saltato diverse portate, nausea e pesantezza gastrica nei restanti famigliari! Non ho osato chiedere agli amici come stessero! Anche perché avevo organizzato tutto io insieme a mia figlia! Povera meravigliosa cucina lucana in quali mani è finita!

12/02/2024: We came here on a very dark day with rain so we couldn't enjoy the exteriors which are beautiful but we had lunch in an internal room that wasn't particularly beautiful. Yet we chose it precisely to allow our son to see the animals, as well as the local food... we were unlucky. The cold cuts and dairy products they produce were the best part. Starters and pasta a little behind in salt. The slice arrived slightly cold while the sausage was very tasty. I appreciated the flavor of the vegetables which reminded me of childhood: you can feel that it is genuine stuff. Bread, wine and oil not of their production... it's the least quality stuff. The sweets and bitters are good, always produced by them. The owner is very kind. Advised

Here you will find an expert ice cream maker. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best ice cream I've ever eaten.

Siamo stati in bassa stagione, proprio per questo ci si aspetta qualche attenzione in più (4 coperti in tutto il locale) che non il contrario. Materia prima ottima, spesso rovinata da abbinamenti presuntuosi ed ambiziosi, senza un buon risultato. Carta dei vini da biblioteca, che desta stupore, se non fosse che trattasi di stampa in carattere 80. Non mi era mai capitato di dover ordinare il dolce durante la consumazione del main course, alle 21:25, perché la cucina doveva staccare. Dolce che però, è doveroso dirlo, era di una bontà e genialità stupefacente (“america”), tanto quanto il Sauternes consigliato.

02/01/2024: “Solo un calice di vino con una cosina vicino e basta!….ancora troppo sazi della cena di capodanno” No, non è andata così perché per incanto, in una piacevole e rilassata atmosfera siamo stati letteralmente rapiti!Nulla era lasciato al caso, pane fragrante, appena sfornato servito con un burro podolico salato e un olio dai profumi arcaici…. Baccalà con peperoni cruschi, una “provocazione” al porcino che non potevano chiamare con un nome più giusto, agnello cucinato superbamente, morbidissimo e i dolci sorprendenti. Tutto questo con la supervisione discreta ma costante di una ottima padrona di casa e un team cortese e professionale. Lo chef? Che dio o chi per lui, lo benedica!!!! Grazie….davvero

Homemade bread, sulphite-free wine, excellent meats, delicious first courses and the bruschetta with caramelised onion, goat's ricotta, broccoli and Cantabrian anchovies is an absolute must..... a delight!!!!! My husband and I had only booked for Easter but after having lunch we also booked for Easter Monday 😂😂😂. If you are in Matera you cannot miss a meal at Sapori Gluten Free. 05/04/2024: Beautiful place, we were there today and I must say excellent quality of the products, very good pizza and first courses and good homemade dessert. it's worth traveling 50 km, we will definitely be back!
