A cozy little place on Chieti Scalo with a wide selection of rums and wines... I recommend going to one of their evenings. The food is truly excellent, as well as a nice glass of wine.

11/04/2026: Amazing pizzas (very greasy, obviously), and I'd say the simplest ones are the Margherita and Marinara ones. The quality of the ingredients is clear! I recommend going during off-peak hours, as there's a long line!

10/04/2026: For me, the Trieste pizzeria is a symbol of Pescara. Ever since I was little, I've been going there to eat pizza and take a nice walk. It has a nice, large children's area and the staff is fantastic, what more can I say? A marvel.

09/05/2026: The restaurant is located in a charming spot, a small, well-kept village. Upon entering, you'll experience the atmosphere of an old-fashioned osteria... Upon entering, you're welcomed by the exposed brick vaults, a beautiful cellar, and a fireplace that warms the soul. The dishes are carefully crafted, and the staff is very skilled at ensuring nothing is missing from the table. Surprisingly, the coffee is good for a restaurant. A few minor negatives: the bread doesn't live up to the standard of the dishes served. The price is a bit high. However, I highly recommend it.

30/04/2026: The restaurant is located in a truly charming little village, perfect for a stroll before or after lunch. We had lunch outside in a courtyard shaded by a large awning. For starters, saffron ricotta tortelli and gnocchi with duck sauce; for main course, grilled lamb and pork tenderloin with a Montepulciano reduction; for dessert, sweet pizza, a licorice crème brûlée, and finally, gentian with biscuits. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.

05/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We read about Pacentro, that it is the birthplace of the grandparents of the queen of pop - Madonna, who emigrated to the USA to seek their fortune, and we became interested. But the village turned out to be "stopped in time" and we were pleasantly surprised that there is a restaurant in which the family running it has put their heart and soul, they cook with local products and satisfy the needs of tourists.

The potatoes and pizzas are truly excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. It's a place I look forward to returning to every time I'm in the area. 17/02/2026: A truly perfect evening at Greenland! Despite the restaurant being fully booked, everything was handled impeccably, both in the kitchen and the service. Renato stands out for his attentiveness, helpfulness, and great customer care: he makes everyone feel welcomed and listened to! Special mention also for the gluten-free fritters: I tried them out of curiosity and was surprised—they were practically identical to the classic ones! Highly recommended! ❤️

11/04/2026: Entering Osteria Futuro in Scurcola is like stepping into another world, another time in history. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, thanks not only to the setting but also to the reliability, kindness, and friendliness of the entire staff, who immediately make you feel at home. The decor is another strong point: composed of beautiful modern pieces, it creates an atmosphere full of character. The staircase is a must-see, as are the rooms upstairs. Everything is made even more charming by the fact that it is an ancient villa that belonged to a noble family, and many original period features have been preserved. The pizza is simply exquisite: a crispy dough, well-crafted and rich in flavor, making every bite a small pleasure. The menu also surprises with its dishes featuring authentic and uncommon recipes and ingredients, making the experience even more interesting and unconventional. An experience that goes beyond a simple meal and is absolutely worth experiencing.

Mario, a special person with a sublime culture, clearly shows that everything he prepares is made with knowledge, experience, and love. The pizza also deserves a special mention: wow. Despite being in a small village, it's always a pleasure to stop by. Highly recommended!
