20/09/2025: I hate writing bad reviews, but this is noteworthy. Avoid the gnocchi with tomato sauce. Insipid. Pizza was way too salty and undercooked. But what really pushed me to write the bad review was watching the grill/pizza chef wipe his sweaty head with his hand and then continue to handle the food. No gloves, no handwashing. Sorry, but that is just gross. We have been to many places over tje past 4 days....I'd stay clear of this place if you're on holiday.

23/09/2025: We had dinner with family one evening on our anniversary during our vacation in Abruzzo. The food was divine, the prices were reasonable, and the portions generous. The setting was scenic, with a beautiful view. The waiter, who I assume is also the competent owner, was very welcoming and warm. Thank you for making us spend a few happy hours.

Nicole and her father are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, always ready to make you feel pampered from the first to the last minute. Their cuisine is traditional, authentic, and predominantly meat-based, with a truly extensive menu that is meticulously prepared. Among their signature dishes, which I find very special, is the first course: the mezze maniche fantasia—a dish of indescribable deliciousness, creamy, balanced, and rich in flavor, a true explosion of taste that captivates from the first bite 🤩 The last time I tried pizz e foje, a typical Abruzzo dish, I can say with absolute certainty that in 29 years of life I've never eaten anything so good! A place that always manages to surprise you, with authentic dishes and genuine people. Ribot is a guarantee of quality, tradition, and human warmth. Highly recommended for those who love to eat well and feel at home! ❤️🍷

The location needs no recommendations, reviews, or descriptions: it's a rare pearl in the heart of Abruzzo. The food is meticulously crafted, from the choice of ingredients to the quality, from the preparation to the plating. The service is exceptional: the Villa Elena staff is hard to find elsewhere; they are professionals dedicated to their work and have an unparalleled dedication to their clients. We will never thank this wonderful family enough for supporting and advising us during our wedding preparations. 21/10/2025: Wonderful osteria with authentic Italian cuisine! The arrosticini, the carbonara, and the ravioli with mushrooms and truffles were simply fantastic—everything was super fresh and full of flavor. The service was first-class: warm, attentive, and very professional. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, and you immediately feel welcome. We dropped in spontaneously without a reservation and were still warmly welcomed. A true recommendation—we'll definitely be back!

On Saturday lunchtime, the service was very fast, but above all professional and friendly. My server, Ilaria, was perfect. The food—cacio e ova balls and arrosticini—was something to fall in love with.

16/10/2025: Maurizio the host and the pizzaiolo was the most lovely and kind person there is. Had a lovely conversation over fantastic food and great wine and even got a private concerto on the accordion by Maurizio himself! Couldn’t recommend more! A must visit to anyone in Capistrello! Only got to take a photo of the antipasto because we devoured everything else right away!

A cozy little place on Chieti Scalo with a wide selection of rums and wines... I recommend going to one of their evenings. The food is truly excellent, as well as a nice glass of wine.
