04/03/2025: The place, the result of the transformation of various other catering activities that have taken place over the years, finally seems to have reached a point of optimal organization both for the service offered, the beautiful heated gazebo on the wide pavement of the avenue, and for the good quality of the offering. Personally I still find it somewhat lacking in the professionalism of the employees which could, given the prestigious area, be implemented. Happy Happy Hours.

07/01/2025: Unfortunately I have to report the bad behavior of the owner, as it was pointed out to the guys who served us that a hamburger that was brought to us had a slightly unpleasant taste. The owner came to the table and attacked my friends, telling them that they didn't understand anything about food and that they might never come back, all in a loud voice and that we had to pay even though we hadn't eaten anyway and that it had been taken back to the kitchen, even if it had just been tasted, and in any case no one had asked him to remove it from the bill. The other people present sympathized with us, saying that his behavior was a disgrace. Let me start by saying that we have been to this pub other times and everything was perfect. In the end we paid without fuss, even what wasn't eaten. Working in retail, I have never had such an attitude and it is no way to deal with customers, it didn't make us look good! I'm only sorry that after so many years of frequenting it, it's a place I'll never set foot in again.

17/04/2025: Good restaurant specializing in cod. But you can eat other things too. The first ones are excellent I would exclude the appetizers (classics, nothing special.) The second courses are good. Service not very efficient and too hasty.

12/04/2025: We were recommended the restaurant. Unfortunately a big disappointment. Mixed salad only green. Tagliatelle was mushy and soft, instead of the promised porcini mushrooms they came with mushrooms and were swimming in tons of oil. Unfortunately we cannot pass on the recommendation.

22/04/2025: I have been to this place twice. I tasted a couple of sweets, one with apples and the other with carrots and almonds. They are good but not excellent. The service however leaves something to be desired. Slow. In particular when I went by the second time to get a coffee at the counter, the girl behind the counter was very slow. We waited ten minutes at the counter and there were no other people to serve. I recommend this place only out of pure curiosity, not for excellent quality and service.

13/05/2025: Malgrado fosse sabato sera,malgrado la presenza del salone nautico Sottocosta,malgrado aver chiamato solo alle 18,Dario,un grande, ci ha trovato un tavolo. Tavolo all'aperto con vista sul molo e sulle barche ormeggiate. Personale cortese,cordiale e preparato. Grande scelta di pizze,di tutti i tipi,per tutti i gusti.Dalle classiche alle speciali. Credo che la famosa Margherita sia la prova regina per capire di che pizza e di che pizzaiolo stiamo parlando.Nel caso di Dario pizzeria Wood una prova superata alla grande. Materie di prima qualità, sapiente impasto,ottima lievitazione e quel tocco di fantasia sono i componenti di questo successo. Fritti,antipasti,dolci,ottime birre,tutto contribuisce per poter affermare:che pizze 🍕👍

07/01/2025: Nothing to say about the sandwiches, they are delicious like sandwiches. Among the best in Mestre.. Of course the prices are high... unlike other bars. But the quality is excellent. The location too, but there are some buts. Like many other users, I also have to admit that kindness and friendliness certainly don't reign there. I've tried several times and over the years I see that it doesn't change. Already the fact that a bar with sandwiches and aperitifs, in the middle of Piazza Ferretto, because we are a 2 minute walk away, at 6pm starts to clean frantically and wants you to "scoar out" no ghe semo.. it's the boom time for the aperitif.. They also have a theater nearby I mean.. I don't know. Other times I find it really closed... evidently they will be able to afford this! I'm always a little perplexed to see that from the afternoon to aperitif time they have nothing left... they've run out of everything. Once I asked the guy what time I should come to get sandwiches, and I was told: at noon.. So they only work in that range? It always gives me the idea that they can't wait for you to pay and leave.. But what if one day people no longer go? Then what do they do? Do they cry? .. I think that's the basis of this job, The ABC... friendliness, kindness and a smile. Knowing how to treat people. Of course it wouldn't hurt... Oh I forgot, the times entered here are not correct. I found it open on Saturdays and other times not. And it's not true that they close at 4pm... but at 6.30-7pm.. I see that they do as they want... there are no real timetables that they follow. Last year, between the Sinner match on TV and something happening at the same time at the Toniolo, where all the people had just left, at 7.30pm they were still open and making sandwiches... it was full of people inside.

30/12/2024: The best sandwiches I've eaten in recent years! Delicious sandwiches and cicchetti, with excellent products. As a Mestre native who moved to another province for years, I go back every time I go to Mestre, as often as I can.

06/04/2025: Breakfast: spinner at the counter (1.80) and coffee served (1.30) are seafront pastry shop prices. Rejected.

09/03/2025: I have never seen a place so cute and original down to the smallest details. Large choice of cakes and donuts and savory. Very welcome with great surprise, the coffee or chocolate is always accompanied with a piece of pastry or a chocolate. Friendly staff

17/05/2025: Unfortunately the experience was not the best I usually never comment negatively but the arrosticini were not good at all.....frozen and old!!! It was reported but the manager replied that they were delivered the day before!!!! Impossible......and no more words paid the bill and off we go!!!! Listen to the customers!
