19/07/2025: I wouldn't go back at all. If you want to pay by card, the lady asks you for cash, she doesn't give you anything, the portions are small and the taste isn't great.

20/08/2025: Hard to find, with just a single sign at the top of the street, then a blank wall with no writing; it looks like a house. The prices aren't adequate or commensurate with the service offered. Sometimes people look for simplicity to save money, but that's not the case here.

05/05/2025: Pranzo del 1 maggio . Locale carino stile medioevale . Accoglienza e staff professionale e cortese . I primi piatti abbondanti , Ho assaggiato i ravioli radicchio e noci molto buoni . Le carni invece non mi hanno soddisfatto . Agnello troppo cotto e arrosticini cotti probabilmente sulla piastra e non sulla carbonella e il gusto non è lo stesso . Molto buono il servizio , attento e veloce .

12/08/2025: Perfect place in good weather for families with children aged 3 to 12. Good pizzas, excellent arrosticini, traditional and authentic food. The place has an outdoor playground, fenced and safe (a member of staff is on hand to supervise the children), and an adjacent soccer field: ideal for children (ages 3 and older) to play safely, and equally for parents to enjoy their meal peacefully at the table. Well done, great organization!

10/08/2025: This restaurant offers a somewhat unique experience, boasting an elegant atmosphere and formal service, which at first glance might seem out of place given its location within a children's play area. This combination of fine dining and fun for the little ones creates a contrast that can seem strange, especially for those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere. However, the meat is very good, which more than justifies the four stars. As for the play area, kids will have a blast. The games are token-operated, and the cheapest package is €10 for 14 tokens. A one-hour pass for the inflatables area is also available, but after that, additional time is subject to a fee. Overall, it's a good option for families who want to combine a quality dinner with entertaining their children, as long as they can tolerate a slightly over-the-top atmosphere.

29/06/2025: They have their heart in their name but above all in the food they serve. It's not the first time I've stopped in this restaurant but every time it's a surprise of tastes and flavors of the Frenta tradition beautifully brought forward by the chef with a few touches of innovation here and there. Must try.

22/06/2025: The lady of an old-fashioned kindness, you can see that she does it with her heart. Impeccable cleanliness and delicious pizzas. We went to celebrate a birthday, she prepared us a bruschetta with chips and pizzas in the center. Really light and not too tasty. Night after dinner without burning and thirst! I highly recommend. I think that reservations are mandatory.

10/07/2025: Recommended by a friend, and no advice was more helpful. A lovely, modern place that starts out as a cafe but is actually a pub/grill. The savory "bombs" are a great idea: the very soft dough is filled with excellent ingredients. The whole fried chicken is a must-try. The desserts are truly amazing. Whether you're visiting Castel di Sangro or just passing through, you absolutely must stop by.

06/07/2025: A month after my last visit to Castel di Sangro, a town that has always had a place in my heart, I unfortunately have to leave a terrible review for a place that should instead be characterized as the excellence of that place. My partner and I ordered 2 slices of cake and two coffees...my grandmother's cake was "aged" but my partner's caprese was inedible, in my opinion it was a week dry! Very short coffees but we had simply ordered 2 coffees...anyway I got up to order a cream bomb, good but nothing exceptional, having left the cakes there on our table. I paid the bill and then told the young lady that they should have removed those slices of cake from the counter...aware of what I was saying, she could have apologized and refunded the price paid, if I remember correctly about 4 euros per piece, and instead she told me that it didn't depend on her but on "company policy". I have no words....next time I will definitely stop at another place in this beautiful city.

26/06/2025: I come very often to Megalò's piadineria and I always find, in addition to the delicious piadinas, always super kind and helpful staff! Reading some negative reviews I am more and more convinced that people write mean and senseless things just for the sake of it. Keep it up 😁
