29/07/2025: Tourist trap! The waiter offered few options that weren’t on the menu, saying those were the “dish of the day.” Sounded like a good option, but she never mentioned the price. We assumed it would be within the range of the menu — the highest price listed was €16. But when the bill came, all those "dish of the day" were €20 moreover they were the size of the starter rather than a "dish". Amazing how they lure customers with all these "special offers" being in fact 25% more than the highest price in the menu!

24/07/2025: Extremely unpolite, vulgar and aggressive with clients and kids. The owner should not be dealing with clients and should be refrained from interacting with kids due to his bad manners and aggressivness. He also treats his staff badly. A toxic athmosphere.

24/07/2025: Unacceptable. You arrive and find filthy windows, not cleaned for 20 years, with residue from the last 20 years of tape. The place looks shabby, dirty, with marks on the walls and an unclean bathroom. Surprise: there's only one person working inside (I don't think it's legal, so I'll report it) who works like a 4-person job. She's very kind, polite, and quick at making piadinas. BUT HOW DOES SHE DO EVERYTHING BY HERSELF? Cashier, delivery, bringing piadinas to the table, responding to customer requests, etc. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

04/07/2025: Dirty place, windows not cleaned for years, terrible toilets and clearly lacking (and slow) staff to maximize profit. Only the quality of the products saves them. It would take little to transform the place.

07/07/2025: Portions of chips too small (I pay and I have the right to an adequate and Decent portion). Besides that they cost 3 euros, and not 2.5 € as it is written on the menu on the website.

17/06/2025: I have tried their pizza several times, with a thin base, perhaps a little too much, but filled with excellent ingredients and still good. I would suggest trying a pizza base a little thicker. Excellent value for money.

24/07/2025: A comfortable and cheerful place, very clean bathrooms, very friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast. Excellent options for a light, healthy, and vegetarian lunch. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Piazza Sant'Ambrogio, one of the most mystical and beautiful places in the world.

17/06/2025: the brioches from the bakery "Le Delizie" are very good, fresh and well leavened, ditto the bread with grapes, the focaccia with potatoes, with cherry tomatoes nothing to say! Price 1.50 excellent considering the cost of frozen brioches. You don't often find dark bread, the whole wheat one is good. the bread prices are a bit high but even Esselunga sells a type of bread at almost 5.40 per kg. the service is normal without infamy and without praise and even at Esselunga it is not the best!

20/05/2025: Guys without a minimum of professional behavior. Three people were already served in the place, we waited 10, 15 minutes to be served, while the guys were chatting, and looking at their phones behind the counter, not caring if they could serve us. It happened not once but three times, that we waited without being served. The last time we got up and left. A girl who works there longer than anyone else, who three times added coffees to my bill that I didn't get. What do I have to pay for her and offering someone coffee? Sky-high prices. If you want things to change you have to include an adult as a team leader who keeps them all in line all day. Because this way it seems like an amusement park. I'm sorry, many years ago I used to go willingly. The croissants are delicious, but it's not worth it, too expensive and for everything else. You understand if the place is like this, I will definitely go elsewhere to order cakes, where I feel welcomed and respected as a customer.

18/05/2025: Worst and most expensive ice cream I have ever eaten... you pay for the brand and I understand that, but I would have liked to perceive a minimum of taste in the products, other than that of the industry... even though Antoniazzi is not renowned for ice cream, if a product is sold (at a high price) to the public I think it is right that it is good. €20 total for the products in the photo.

03/07/2025: Great lunch with the tastiest local products. Only two tables, therefore very cozy and atmospheric. Delicious panade filled with meat and potato and a salad with the tastiest mozzarella, what a taste explosion!

26/04/2025: Small restaurant/bar at the 2nd middle station to Testa Grigia. The price is quite a bit more expensive than on Plan Maison, but still affordable. Drinks are rather expensive (0.33 l Cola can 5 euros. But everything has to get up here somehow. The staff is friendly, but there are queues that stretch through the restaurant. So you sit directly in a queue inside, outside it's ok. Inside there is a serviced area with a handful of tables, which is looked after by a waiter. Since you sit here surrounded by the self-service tables or the exit to the terrace, it's not necessarily comfortable. But there isn't more space. Nevertheless, the staff really do their best Effort to make the stay pleasant.

01/08/2025: The pizza is very good, although many of the other old photos on Google are no longer available. But good pizza, delicious beer, and a relaxed atmosphere.

01/08/2025: Unfortunately, this historic Viareggio venue has changed management. It used to be perfect for kids. Now I can only recommend going there to play golf.

22/03/2025: Ritornati dopo parecchi anni per gustare i mitici escargot di pizza...ma nulla. Cambio di gestione e cambio di sapori. Non erano quelli di una volta: secchi e poco condimento. Anche la pizza era qualcosa di indescrivibile: sembrava quella congelata della Cameo. L'impasto discreto morbido e poco salato, ma mozzarella e pomodoro veramente di scarsissima qualità. Mi dispiace per i ragazzi che ci lavorano, ma o cambiano gli ingredienti o cambiano pizzaiolo.

30/06/2025: Avoid this place at all costs. I had a deeply disappointing experience here and would not recommend it to anyone, locals or tourists. I’m Italian, born and raised, currently living in Australia. Yesterday, I visited Portofino with my Australian partner, who doesn’t speak or understand Italian and was visiting Italy for the first time. I was excited to share some fresh Ligurian focaccia and the kind of traditional panini Italy is famous for. We stopped by this bakery hoping to grab a quick bite before heading to the beach. I asked in Italian if they made panini, and a younger staff member confirmed they did. While I was translating to my partner in English, the older lady behind the counter suddenly became extremely rude and aggressive. I politely asked for bresaola, one of the meats we were offered, and that’s when she began abusing me, first in Italian, then in Ligurian dialect (which I understand perfectly). I calmly let her know that I understood every word and asked if she could be a bit kinder, as I was simply trying to order what was already offered. Shockingly, the rudeness continued. She said that making a panino was a huge favor, even though we were paying customers and asked for nothing out of the ordinary and she wasn't even serving us and the bakery has just another client in she was attending to. That gentleman she was serving was very embarrassed meanwhile my partner was very confused since he did not understand a word. In the end, I told her to keep the panino and walked out, completely shocked and embarrassed, especially because this was my partner’s first taste of Italy, and this kind of hostility is not at all representative of true Italian hospitality. It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated with such disrespect in your own country, especially when you're trying to share it with someone you care about. Sadly, Portofino only has 2 bakeries, and perhaps this gives some people the impression they can treat customers however they like. I strongly suggest supporting other local businesses where respect and kindness are still part of the culture. Italian hospitality should be warm, generous, and welcoming. This experience was anything but.

08/08/2025: Pizza sottilissima, orribile soprattutto per lo speck ea scamorza alta 1cm ... E daiiiiiiiii . Buone però le frittelle e le chicche... Ma costi troppo alti. Bocciato
