11/09/2025: The coffee was of very poor quality — weak, bitter, and definitely not worth the price. On top of that, the staff were extremely unprofessional and unfriendly, which made the whole experience even worse. The only positive aspect is the view, but sadly that alone doesn’t make up for the bad service and disappointing coffee. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

20/08/2025: We went here for dinner. The tables aren't particularly nice, old, and made of plastic. Condiments are served in small single-serve bags, which unfortunately adds unnecessary waste to the meal. The service is very poor. Very slow and inattentive. The view is beautiful. And the food was good.

26/09/2025: Lovely spot to start the morning.

02/08/2025: Anyone who sits down pays extra. Unfortunately, we had to get our drinks ourselves from the bar… Still, we had to pay a service charge. The restrooms were cleaned after the store opened, but unfortunately, there were no toilets. Disgusting!

20/10/2025: The place is nice but poorly maintained. We went for a late-morning aperitif. The place was completely messy behind the bar. It would really take very little.

21/09/2025: 7:10 PM for aperitivo. There are two of us. And nothing... the kitchen is closed so they can't do platters, maybe a toasted sandwich. The Spritz wasn't particularly good, so we only had a small bowl of chips and a bowl of taralli. If only it were just once... but every time we've been there, it's been like this: the kitchen is closed. It's a shame because the place would be worth it.

08/10/2025: A nice, quiet restaurant and the fish is really good.

15/09/2025: The restaurant mainly serves pizzas but has an extensive list of options. The ones we ordered were well done and tasty. Thete is a good list of Italian draft beers which were delightful. The staff didn't speak English but was quite accomodating and nice. All in all, one of the good venues in the vicinity to eat a pizza.

17/05/2025: Discovered on Google the place was a pleasant surprise, the atmosphere is nice and welcoming, the food good and plentiful, we had excellent pancakes and waffles, kind and efficient staff... recommended

18/04/2025: I bought a crepe and while eating it I found a hair in the middle.

23/08/2025: €10 for a ham and mozzarella sandwich, where there were probably 20 grams of the first and 30 grams of the second. A steal. Toast with a third of the filling promised on the menu, for €9. At that price, I eat more at the service station, and that says it all. The sandwich was truly half-empty…

09/08/2025: Beautiful place, well-kept and clean. The food is truly excellent and the price is very fair. You can also ask for a gluten-free sandwich. Highly recommended!

08/07/2025: Purtroppo la nostra esperienza è stata davvero negativa. Siamo arrivati con buone aspettative, ma già all’ingresso abbiamo avuto l’impressione di trovarci in una struttura trascurata, quasi fatiscente. L’accoglienza è stata fredda e ci siamo sentiti come se stessimo entrando in casa di qualcuno, piuttosto che in un locale aperto al pubblico. L’atmosfera era tutt’altro che ospitale. Il problema maggiore, però, è stato igienico: durante il pasto ci siamo trovati con una quindicina di mosche sul pane e altrettante che volavano intorno ai piatti. Una situazione francamente inaccettabile. Siamo rimasti soltanto per educazione, per non crearci l’imbarazzo di andarcene subito, ma a fine serata eravamo preoccupati per le possibili conseguenze sanitarie. Dispiace dirlo, perché la proprietaria si è mostrata gentile e ha riconosciuto che il problema delle mosche c’è, ma non basta. La gestione dell’igiene dovrebbe essere una priorità assoluta, a prescindere da tutto. Non si può pensare di servire cibo in queste condizioni. Quanto alla cucina, purtroppo nulla che possa risollevare il giudizio: piatti semplici, poco curati, e con una qualità che definire mediocre sarebbe generoso. Sinceramente, cucinavo meglio io a quindici anni. Peccato, ma è un’esperienza che non ripeteremo.

08/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was truly negative. We arrived with high expectations, but as soon as we entered, we had the impression of being in a neglected, almost dilapidated establishment. The welcome was cold, and we felt as if we were entering someone's home, rather than a place open to the public. The atmosphere was anything but welcoming. The biggest problem, however, was hygiene: during the meal, we found ourselves with about fifteen flies on the bread and just as many flying around the plates. A frankly unacceptable situation. We stayed only out of politeness, to avoid the embarrassment of leaving immediately, but by the end of the evening, we were worried about the possible health consequences. It's unfortunate to say this, because the owner was kind and acknowledged that the fly problem exists, but that's not enough. Hygiene management should be a top priority, no matter what. Serving food in these conditions is simply unacceptable. As for the food, unfortunately, nothing that could improve my opinion: simple dishes, poorly prepared, and of a quality that would be an understatement to call mediocre. Honestly, I cooked better when I was fifteen. It's a shame, but it's an experience we won't repeat.

29/06/2025: Very nice garden.. but with the 25€ menu I left hungry.. zero quality/price ratio

29/06/2025: Never again! €25 menu... half a slice of bread with tomato, half a slice of bread with sausage, a starter of beans and cereals, two thin medals of meat and peas and... STOP! Two jugs of wine for 40 people, two cokes and a few bottles of water. At the end of the evening the owner made us pay separately for the amaro... €2!!! SCANDALOUS

20/09/2025: Unfortunately, the room hadn't been cleaned. There was dust on the tables, and in the bathroom there was a used bar of soap, contact lenses and dental floss in the wastebasket, and mosquito larvae in the toilet. Overall, the rooms are apparently neglected and old. Breakfast is good but limited, and the hours are limited. At the end of the day, when we returned, mosquitoes were in the room; I imagine they entered during cleaning.

09/08/2025: I went for an aperitivo and was never told what was included. After the fries, four mini burgers arrived: I'm vegan and my friend has a sesame allergy, so we asked for a sesame-friendly version. They arrived without sesame, but with meat and cheese, so they weren't suitable for me anyway. The only alternative offered was fried onions, which were then charged an extra €5 without warning. It's unfair not to state what the aperitivo includes beforehand and not offer real alternatives.

25/07/2025: The ice cream is very sugary, but overall it's pleasant. Prices are average, and the overall cleanliness is good. More staff would be helpful, as the place is small, but sometimes the wait can be long.

19/07/2025: I go to this ice cream shop every now and then, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, but unfortunately, not only has the quality (tasteless ice cream) deteriorated, but also the quantity!!!! €3.50 for a cone is identical to a small one with three tiny flavors! I'm not going there anymore! You can find better in every way, and the staff is honestly always quite "gloomy."

12/07/2025: A unique spot to escape the heat, but the pizzas aren't very varied, and there's no menu; the waiter dictates the choices. The fried apples are delicious! Cash only!

01/05/2025: Probably the best pizza of my life and the appetizer was a thing of beauty. The service was great even though they were quite busy. You can watch them make the Pizza and the wine was so local that the bottle doesn’t even have a label, it was delicious. Be aware though, you can only pay cash but it’s worth robbing a bank for.

05/11/2025: New management by a very young team. The menu is limited and changes seasonally, but that's not a bad thing. The ingredients are seasonal and carefully selected. The classics are always available, so you can't go wrong. I found the price excellent, but I should mention that I booked through an app with a nice discount.

13/10/2025: I stopped here for lunch: the restaurant has an indoor dining room and a charming outdoor portico overlooking the fortress. Speaking with the waiters, I discovered they had recently taken over the restaurant: I saw in them a passion for this profession and a desire to get involved, working on every detail. The only advice I can give is to review the portions of the various dishes, which are perhaps a little on the small side for the price.
