Incredibly delicious food and a superb view!

This is a great out of the way spot. It will take a little walk past the rail station to get there but worth the effort. The arancini was amazing as was the Sicilian beer. Our server did not speak English, which made it that much more authentic. The view over the Straight of Messina was spectacular.

A place that's an institution... Their "arancino arricciato" is a must! Excellent for a business lunch, a sunset aperitif, or an evening by the sea just steps from the city center.

Unfortunately, I didn't like the granitas; they were mostly ice, and the brioches were a bit hard and mediocre in flavor. Also, there was no cream left, which is a shame because when making granitas, you generally expect a high demand for cream. Regardless, the service is fast, and the waiter is generally friendly. The place has a beautiful view of the Strait of Messina and even has private parking. Prices are average. I recommend it, but only if they improve the granitas. Maybe it's not their season yet? Who knows, too bad.
