At the entrance, the gentleman told us that it would probably not be easy for us and that maybe we should eat elsewhere. I don't understand

04/08/2025: I tried their delicious Jollof rice – it was quite good! The portion was generous, and the taste was authentic, just as you’d expect from West African cuisine. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, so you immediately feel at home.

08/07/2025: yesterday I invited some friends of mine to celebrate the birthday of one of them but honestly great disappointment. normal food (there were two dishes in the whole menu and very little choice) nice environment but nothing special and above all zero welcome. nothing to do with the kindness and friendliness of the Senegalese and other African restaurants (but yesterday Monday they were all closed). almost ignored in the end they made us understand that it was time to leave. 11/06/2025: Sono tornato dopo 1 anno circa in questa storica pasticceria , stesso tavolo ( sporco ) , da consumazione di clienti precedenti , tra l’altro non l’unico ,avrei preferito all’esterno , ma sui tavoli svolazzavano i piccioni che banchettavano . Non aggiungo altro , servizio da dilettanti , ma pare vada bene così , non ci ritornerò più

08/08/2025: Delicious pizza! Very friendly service. During our short stay in Bergamo, we'll be back for another taste. Scrocchia is a small restaurant where you just order and leave – there's no table service. About 300 meters from the restaurant is a small park where you can sit and eat outside until 9:00 PM. They have two types of pizzas – a classic round pizza, about 30 cm, and a 50 cm pinsa (Roman pizza), which they describe as serving two people. The menu is available on the Scrocchia website.

06/09/2025: Tuesday evening, around 10:00 AM. The girl at the cash register receives two piadinas back from other customers (which were ours and were mistakenly given to others, who rightly only realized it after they'd eaten the food). With no sense of shame or regard for basic HACCP regulations or respect for paying customers, the girl then attempts to hand me the same two piadinas. I point out the embarrassing situation I just described, so she takes them back, placing them on the kitchen counter among the ingredients and where the piadinas are filled, and sends the order back without apology. From that point on, we wait over half an hour for our two piadinas, and ALL the orders pass by us, even those received after the incident. During this wait, I notice that the kitchen is being managed with very little attention (crumpled napkins containing food scraps left on the counter instead of in the trash, girls wandering around with order slips and never washing their hands, with nails too long to ensure hygiene and avoid contamination). We also point out this second embarrassing situation of the unjustified wait—since the mistake was theirs—at which point we receive an apology and finally the two piadinas (with a free baby Nutella). One of the two piadinas also contained an exorbitant amount of balsamic vinegar, almost inedible.

20/08/2025: I'm not expressing any opinion/very long waiting times, booked for 7:30/45 pm at 8:40 pm the waitress hadn't yet taken the orders. In the end we left the table to people luckier than us.

03/07/2025: I ended up there because I'm on business in Rome and it's my colleagues' favorite place. Super place, excellent food and then the gem is the courtesy and smile of those who do the service. The owner is uniquely courteous. Now I understand why it's my colleagues' favorite place. I bought pizza and panzerotti to take to Rome for my family... They've opened another place that will surely be successful...

02/07/2025: Locale curato , arredo con vini a vista perfetto,Parlando di piatti :Uovo bio fritto ( ottimo ) e speciale ,tartare di manzo molto buona ,galletto al BBQ tenerissimo e con verdure associate Ok . Dolci quasi classici ma con un tocco innovativo( buoni) .come sempre da ritornarci !!

23/03/2025: Consigliato da un amico, abbiamo cenato per la prima volta in questo locale ieri sera. Secondo me il menù, non propone piatti freschi dato che le verdure di accompagnamento o di ripieno o di piatto vegetariano non sono di stagione. Decorazioni dei piatti uguali per diverse preparazioni, come le salse o le creme di accompagnamento. Oltretutto non è stagione di porcini per una zuppa del giorno! Canederli immangiabili da quanto duri… Camerieri che per ben due volte, una volta portato il piatto, dimenticano le posate. Che dire di positivo: fantastica la simpatia della proprietaria! Ma non basta per tornare. Peccato!

16/08/2025: August 16, 2025, 7:00 AM. During my trip, I detoured to Isili for breakfast after searching online. I arrived at 7:05 AM and it was closed, with no signs or anything. I waited ten minutes, but nothing!
