03/06/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant last weekend and we were very dissatisfied. We ordered a risotto that was raw and a pasta with clams that looked like pasta with garlic, oil and chili pepper with some clams, it was not well creamed and did not taste of fish at all. The house wine was terrible. Moving on to the dessert with cream and melon, it was not possible to eat it because the pastry was very hard. We pointed this out to the waiter who instead of offering us another dessert took care of portioning the slice of cake and offering it to us again, now blended. The bill was the icing on the cake, they had told us that they would not charge us for the dessert, but the cost of the bread was €5.00. I have never paid so much for bread at a restaurant, not even a starred one. It means that in reality they wanted to recover the price of the dessert by disguising it under another heading. We basically spent €50 for two inedible pasta dishes. I then noticed that two other tables were also not happy with their dishes. I don't understand how a place like this can be so highly rated, this fact makes me think. I often go to Capalbio, but I assure you that I will never go to this restaurant again. Avoid like the plague.

02/12/2024: We had a wonderful evening here! We were in the entrance room, well heated and welcoming. The food was really great! We started with the french fries, fresh and not frozen, with ketchup and mayonnaise, homemade. Oh my goodness! They were so good that we ordered a second portion, this time cacio e pepe... A real delight!! Continuing with the sandwiches, what can I say!! A goodness! Super stuffed and with very fresh ingredients. I took the one with horse meat, cooked very well, and so tender that it melted in your mouth! Those of the other diners were also really tasty! I will definitely be back!!

15/06/2025: I like Japanese and Chinese food, at least 10 times a year I go to a restaurant that serves Japanese, Chinese or both, so I have a good yardstick. EJ uses a type of rice that is suitable for Japanese dishes, which is not trivial, because not all varieties are suitable and there are many varieties. EJ presents itself as fusion and in fact there are imaginative dishes, such as sushi-tacos, but the great classics of the sushi range are not lacking. There are also all the typical Mandarin dishes and in addition even something Thai, which I have not tested yet. Easy ordering via tablet system. The only downside: the 75cl bottle of water costs a good three euros and is often not enough for two people in an all you can eat meal. This weighs on the fixed price, currently for dinner of €27.90 (€24.90 + €3 cover charge) per person, becomes €30.90, unless you have the unfortunate idea of ​​​​taking a dessert (€6). All this is a bit exaggerated considering that we are in Rosta and also a bit misleading considering that at the entrance you read €24.90. It is definitely better to go there for lunch. Maybe if nobody goes there for dinner anymore they will lower the prices 🤷

Il locale carino e accogliente; staff disponibile e cordiale, in particolare la proprietaria Pamela. Con mia moglie abbiamo visitato questo ristorante in più occasioni (almeno una decina di volte) rimanendo sempre soddisfatti, il che mi fà pensare che la recensione presente prima della mia da "1" sia "leggermente" in malafede. Prezzi nella media. Consigliato.

27/04/2025: Un pranzo da incubo, ho fatto l'errore di fermarmi a mangiare su consiglio di amici e purtroppo sono rimasto deluso come non mai, pasta "fresca" non cotta e fredda e con un sugo slegato senza sapore, una vera schifezza. Scrivo per tutti coloro che leggono, non andateci, anche il conto è stato un brutto colpo, più alto del dovuto e non mangiato. Attenzione a coloro che si spacciano per ristoratori
