07/08/2024: Summer evening on a cool terrace given the hilly position. The signs guide you even if you're not a local (like me). Excellent pizzas and mouth-watering typical Calabrian cuisine. Service, courtesy and friendliness. I advise!

29/03/2024: Very nice, clean and intimate place. The food very good. The only flaw I would say was the dessert, I had a semifreddo but unfortunately I had to wait twenty minutes before eating it... it was frozen.

07/08/2024: I used the meal voucher card but I wanted to use 2 of them and instead, despite asking how it works, I was told to click button 2, confirm and not how many vouchers I wanted to use.
I had calculated the right amount of shopping for 2 vouchers and instead I had to pay the difference with the cashier telling me that if I didn't know how to use them I should have asked, which I did!
Terrible service! I won't go back!

03/08/2024: My go-to sushi place with friends since it’s the best in Rome. 🍣Always trying new dishes form the menu and they never fail to impress. Amazing servers and extremely polite waiters. The goodbye gifts at the cashier table is the best thing. 🥠

02/08/2024: Excellent self-service restaurant/canteen. The raw material is of excellent quality and well cooked. The portions are generous and it is possible to choose between three/four first courses and as many second courses. All you have to do is take the tray and tell the staff at the counter your choice, being careful not to get distracted while they fill the plate so as not to end up with overweight portions.

08/06/2024: Kindness and friendliness are at home here. Small place but ideal for a pleasant snack or breakfast. I tasted a delicious cake with fresh fruit accompanied by a chinotto but the choice of products was wide and varied!!
08/03/2024: Very small pastry shop, made even smaller by a huge counter and, in my opinion, not that useful. The tables are sacrificed and you can't move around freely. Slow service, product quality not exceptional. I don't recommend it

Hotel Shackleton Mountain Resort

02/04/2024: We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and it was a great experience. The hotel is very comfortable, the restaurant has a beautiful view and we had the experience of dining with the fireplace next to the snow. The staff and management are very friendly and courteous.
There are some things that could be improved.
The reception was closed at night, there was no contact to call in case of need (which we had because the child was ill one night and we didn't know who to turn to); the cleanliness of the room deserved more careful attention.
The swimming pool was out of use although it was not reported at the time of booking (for us it was an important element because we needed it to entertain the child).
The people who had to be qualified to spend time with the children should have done only that and not deal with other aspects within the hotel.
Overall a nice holiday
23/03/2024: Quando uomini e montagne si incontrano, grandi cose accadono... e così, tra le alte vette di Sestriere, il Resort Shackleton, resta un gioiello di estrema bellezza.
Siamo clienti che da anni tornano ad assaporare l'ottima cucina, l'accoglienza ottimamente gestita, gli ambienti accoglienti.
Tutti gli anni ci facciamo un regalo che fa stare bene... per questo, consigliatissimo.
