03/11/2025: A small, typical Italian restaurant frequented by many locals, offering a wide variety of quality food at very reasonable prices. A lovely place to stop after our walk from Menton to Ventimiglia along the Via Augusta.

08/12/2025: A pleasant discovery just steps from the Royal Palace of Caserta. Given how busy the area is, it might seem like a tourist trap, but the pizza was actually very good, especially the tomato sauce. This makes all the difference, so I recommend it over the plain pizza. The prices are also reasonable. It's practically constantly baking, and it doesn't close for lunch.

05/12/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizzas (special mention for the fiordilatte, escarole, pine nuts, and olives). Other excellent dishes (pasta alla genovese). Quick and friendly service. Just steps from one of the most extraordinary places in Italy (the Royal Palace of Caserta). I go to Basilico whenever I can!

02/11/2025: I'll start by saying that I only knew one side of Giovinazzo, and I never thought I'd discover a place like Cucchiara Pizzeria in the Villa area. First with my family and then with my group of 20 friends, I've been here (friends at my request). The welcome was warm and friendly, the service excellent, efficient, and organized, the cuisine, the appetizers above average and very balanced between flavor, innovation, quality, and abundance, the Assassina pizza was amazing, perfect in texture, tomato-to-moisture ratio, saltiness and spiciness (my friends were very happy), the pizza, what can I say? Light, crispy, and very, very digestible. In short, PERFECT!!! Delicious desserts, very nice and delicious bitters, overall 10/10. Keep it up!!! And above all, we'll see each other soon. 28/11/2025: One of the best restaurants in Padua. We've been going there for years and have introduced it to many friends. The atmosphere is warm and homey, and the owners' kindness is unparalleled. The food is addictive, not to mention the tea afterward, which rounds out the meal and makes the experience complete.

16/11/2025: I was really curious to taste this country's cuisine, imagining it to be rich in exotic aromas and spices, but in the end, I didn't find the flavors of the dishes I ordered to be as original as I expected. I should emphasize that I can't say the dishes were bad, but simply, in my opinion, lacked personality. From the rich offerings, well explained by the owner, we chose the unique friendship platter, or Maadi (five Eritrean bread bases that we garnished with two meat bases—ostrich and beef—and three vegetable bases—lentils, chickpeas, and eggplant). This dish is so called because it encourages diners to share, with their hands, but eating isn't "mandatory." It's beautiful to look at, but, as I mentioned above, its flavors are less interesting. In my opinion, only the red lentils were a cut above. The bread served (inghiera) was certainly original, unique in its flavor (even though it was quite flat) and texture (soft, spongy). The owner mentions piadina romagnola in his introduction, but it's only piadina-like in shape. To finish, they served us a pleasant herbal tea accompanied by cinnamon biscuits (IKEA-style). A brief mention of the unpleasant, unexpected, musty/musty smell that permeates the room upon entering; I'd say it's easily remedied with a good air freshener. For the Maadi, a 750cl beer, and the herbal tea, we paid €50. My conclusion is that I'd like to hear the opinion of an Eritrean to understand whether this is the authentic cuisine of that country and therefore not for me, or whether it's simply a culinary offering adapted to our country.

01/09/2025: You can order a whole pizza, or try the ones they have in stock by the slice. The slices are taken quickly, the Margarita is especially popular (it's really delicious). We went back for more twice when they brought new pizzas straight from the oven. Wine on site - 7 euros a bottle. There is beer and a large TV, 10 tables inside and a few outside. Very fast service and very local. I recommend it!

08/09/2025: It's a small shop (hence its 4 stars), which is very nice and stylish. The food was excellent. The price is particularly noteworthy. Absolutely top-notch! Comparatively, it's the best I've seen and tried in Milan so far. (See photo, 2 pieces for €1.50 each = €3.) The service is also very friendly, and you feel like a real guest. Not like at other restaurants where there are a lot of people. All in all, a perfect opportunity for tourists to enjoy the Italian "Dolce Vita."
