28/09/2025: We come here once a year, not being from Genoa, and we always find a welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and excellent beers. Highly recommended!

19/08/2025: Italian (though Polish :)). "Amateur" style, but with a wider selection of dishes. We had drinks, beer, and a digestivo, and it was fantastic. We also got great tips on what to see in Genoa. I highly recommend it!

14/06/2025: The best ice cream we've had in Italy. An incredible variety of flavors, including vegan options. The lady was super polite and accommodating. She offered us a taste before choosing. The portions were really good for the price 😊👍 All in all, wonderful service. We felt very comfortable.

13/06/2025: Very nice place. Wide range of flavors I haven’t tried before in my life. Lady selling ice cream was very helpful offering taste. We come there every day trying something new. 4 eur for a big cup is a steal (3 tastes)

23/10/2025: The idea is great, the location is great, the food is excellent—for a vegetarian, really, everything... and all the dishes you'd be hard-pressed to make yourself at home. Well, if only a little of that fantastic and empathetic philosophy so often touted on the website's short story (about us) could be put into practice in person, especially at the checkout, it wouldn't be bad.

20/10/2025: Very friendly staff, excellent vegan food, and super cute cats (don't disturb them!). Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: The restaurant is the hotel's plus. I can't say the same about the hotel structure, except for the friendly and helpful staff.

05/11/2025: As the final stop on our tourist and culinary journey here in Sicily, we couldn't miss yet another dessert binge. Thanks to these delicacies, we skipped lunch and only had a sandwich at the airport for dinner. There were also several savory options, but we preferred to stick to leavened and, of course, fried desserts. I may have a sweet tooth, but everything was delicious. I recommend it to anyone who isn't on a diet!

04/11/2025: I don't know if you're in Catania, but there's a pastry shop with better products than the ones I've eaten here. It's impossible not to try a little bit of everything.

27/09/2025: My girlfriend and I went to Assaje and tried several specialties: octopus salad, two montanare, fritters, bruschetta, and two pizzas. Everything was delicious! Special thanks to pizza chef Pasquale Napoli, incredibly friendly and professional, who made me an off-menu pizza because I wasn't sure: it was delicious! We'll definitely be back; a highly recommended experience.

21/09/2025: Everything was super good! The service was friendly, professional, and the welcome was more than appreciated, with bruschetta and fritters. The prices are average, and the pizza is excellent, thin and topped with top-notch ingredients. I'm not giving it 5 stars only because there was a small hiccup with a wrong pizza and a bit of a slow delivery at the end, but that's okay; Saturday nights are tough. I'll definitely be back 🙏🏻

Fabio and Vanessa, the owners, are friends to me, people with a unique kindness and professionalism. For me, Saturdays at their place are a ritual that's been repeated for years and that always leaves me amazed. 21/09/2025: Gelato shop in a good location. Decent staff. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the gelato: limited flavors available, both with and without lactose. The base is good, but the flavor goes largely unnoticed.

31/08/2025: High-quality gelato, evident in the quality of the ingredients used to create the different flavors. I particularly appreciate the fruit pieces or the biscuit in the cheesecake flavor.

20/07/2025: Spurred on by the excellent reviews, we also went for dinner during the week. We ate mostly meat, excellent tagliata, mixed meats, and even burgers! The atmosphere and service were homey but of excellent quality, with smiling and very kind waitresses. The homemade desserts were very interesting, and the bill was very reasonable! (Looking at the adjacent tables, the pizzas also looked really good.)

10/09/2025: Delicious carbonara pasta and pizzas. Impeccable service. We went there four times over 11 days! Don't hesitate to visit.

08/09/2025: I bitterly regret not taking a photo of the "pizzas" that two of my friends and I ate there last night. I'm only commenting on the seafood pizza I ordered, which was actually a container of seafood salad poured over the pizza. If that wasn't the case, there was definitely something wrong with that seafood. Furthermore, the pizza was soaked in water from? I don't know exactly what. A piece of plastic that presumably covered the still-sealed wine cork. In short, €15 for a pizza that could easily have made me feel sick (I certainly didn't avoid heartburn, though) makes me feel like I've been scammed, and in the end, that's kind of the case. The staff was very friendly, but the food definitely needs re-evaluating.

05/09/2025: Exceptional place, run by very nice people who enjoy their work! Excellent cuisine with a Sicilian chef who offers excellent fish dishes and different from the usual! Go and try it!! I highly recommend it.
