05/11/2025: The place remains as beautiful as ever. But in all the years I've known it, the noise in some areas hasn't improved, making it difficult to talk. The pizza and beer have gone from being among the best to among the worst. The bill is steep, and the service is sometimes rude, sometimes overly pushy. Recommended, not recommended.

04/11/2025: La Fornace – Rustic atmosphere, pizza, and Mediterranean cuisine to share I recently dined at La Fornace at Via Galileo Galilei 40 in Mestrino, and I was completely blown away by the experience. The restaurant is housed in a renovated old brickworks: the spaces are spacious, the ambience rustic yet refined, with architectural references to the past that make it truly charming. The culinary offerings range from Neapolitan-style pizza dough matured and leavened for 72 hours, select ingredients, and a menu that extends beyond pizza to include meat, fish, and Mediterranean dishes. The staff was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was informal and welcoming—perfect for both a dinner with friends and a more relaxed evening with your partner. Some highlights: • The unique ambience—a converted brickworks with character and ample space. • Carefully crafted dough and leavening, and a pizza that stands out on the menu. • Good variety in cuisine to cater to different tastes. • Attentive service, available parking, good access to table needs. A few points of caution: • Being a very large and popular restaurant, there can be a high flow of customers at certain times—if you're looking for maximum tranquility, choose off-peak hours. • With an extensive menu of pizzas, meat, and fish, the absolute specialization may seem diluted—but the overall quality remains good. • Always check for reservations: given the capacity and popularity, it's advisable to book. 25/10/2025: I think I stopped here every night for dinner or just a snack while in Pisa. Loved the Medievale (salami, mushroom sauce OMG SO GOOD!) and the Lounge (chicken, tomato, lettuce, some kind of magic sauce the name of which I've forgotten). The fries were great (c'mon, Italy, you even do French fries well?), and the tiramisu was worth every penny. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even helped my poor Italian language skills. Very welcoming, and great for eat in or take away.

15/10/2025: The piadina is barely adequate. The traditional one, there's no way to make it with stracchino. The cooked ham is flavorless. The atmosphere is characterless. The service is poor, they don't even recommend their specials; I saw them while I was eating... What a shame!

16/09/2025: We contacted them for catering for a private party. They proved to be extremely professional, offering impeccable service and truly high-quality products. They even delivered and set up the tables. The slushies and cocktails were truly delicious. Highly recommended.

14/10/2025: It is a franchise so I expected a certain level of taste but it was just an average gelateria. They promoted a new flavor but it was disappointing. Also they seemed like they care about the quality of the gelato as they covered the gelato with lids but it made it difficult to guess what flavor to try as the staff looked like he did not want to work.

04/10/2025: Faedo Bike Grill is located along the bike path and has a large green area with a children's playground. Very few cars on site, but it's very popular with cyclists. The service is very young and friendly, both at the counter and at the tables. Kudos also to the kitchen, which offers local dishes and seasonal products (e.g., tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms). Everything is very organized and clean, the bathrooms are very nice and modern, and they offer free showers. Everything is very nice, but stopping is mandatory if you're on the bike path in Mezzocorona and Salorno. Highly recommended

20/10/2025: First and last time... eternity of waiting times, grumpy owner, somewhat disoriented waiters! More than half an hour to order two pizzas in a half-empty restaurant, another half an hour goes by and nothing! In the end, they tell us that due to a mix-up we still have to wait! So we decided to get up and leave... I don't recommend it.

11/10/2025: The food was good and the restaurant was nice, but the service was terrible. The waiters did their job well, but you can't insist on leaving the table after an hour. We made a reservation for 8:30 PM, and now, at 9:40 PM, I'm already in my car. You can't rush people so much that they come to the table right after they've finished eating to ask if we want coffee. If you don't have the space and tables, don't accept any more reservations. It's not a fast food restaurant; I pay the cover charge to stay there and eat at my leisure. Especially if I make a reservation.
