21/09/2025: I met guests who were on holiday in Taisten. They were enthusiastic and they used the bus service for their hikes. This is now stress-free holiday fun in South Tyrol. I think it's great. The guests were enthusiastic and I would also like to forward you to the village cafe...it looks very inviting.

28/08/2025: Dinner with my wife... beautiful atmosphere with paintings and ceramics... exposed brick vaults... Very good food... beautifully presented... extensive wine cellar with local and international wines... kind and friendly staff... highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Terrible welcome... the owner, even before we entered, tried everything she could to dissuade us from stopping. Maybe because we're Italian? On their website, they praise South Tyrolean hospitality... the only thing that's hospitable there is FICO! The customers who arrived shortly before us (Germans) were able to order hot dishes. They were adamant with us, even though we arrived before 2:00 PM, we had to settle for cold dishes only. Angelika, the owner, is rude, arrogant, and hostile. She accused us of having rude children, accusing them of untruths (she was even denied by a customer she had asked for confirmation). After yelling at us in front of all the customers, she rudely kicked us out of the place, not before demanding a very high bill that also included part of the order we didn't consume. Highly not recommended!

12/10/2025: Terrible welcome. Poor empathy with families, children, and groups. The owner was rude and rude, and her dress code was vulgar. Very hostile toward children playing peacefully. Inflexible with orders. Eternal wait times, terrible service. After waiting two hours for a platter, we were thrown out in a loud and condescending manner, with shouting and insults, accusing us of having rude children and accusing them of having committed untrue acts in front of all the customers. The hefty bill was increased by orders that never arrived. I strongly advise against going there, and if you want to experience a terrible experience, I strongly recommend always paying by credit card.

20/09/2025: I'll start by saying that the 3 stars given to the food are due to the fried food, and ONLY for the fried food, and nothing else. In fact, I gave it 4 stars overall. The place is tiny, right on Viale dei Mille with a small outdoor terrace. Make a reservation because they seat about 35-40 people maximum. We were outside; I had requested this when booking (I have a puppy, and it seemed more practical to sit outside). I was worried about the noise from the avenue, but to be honest, it was less of a problem than expected. There were two young waiters who were very kind and professional, especially the young man who served us. The menu has a few à la carte dishes (and that's fine, it guarantees fresh, carefully prepared products) and a good selection of catch of the day or specials of the day. That evening, there were several fish per kilo, cooked in various ways, and two express dishes, an appetizer and a first course. We ordered two à la carte first courses: spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti) and linguine with crab, scampi, and shrimp (I don't remember the name of the dish). Both were very good, but my only complaint is practical. The crab, placed in half on the plate, even if divided between the shell and claws, takes quite a while to be properly enjoyed. Meanwhile, the pasta gets cold and overcooked, which is a mortal sin. Perhaps it would be worth serving the crab already cleaned, with only the claw to be split, to still create a show. Nothing to complain about the ingredients, excellent and perfectly cooked. MY problem comes with the fried calamari, shrimp, and cod. The calamari were cut into strips, not rings. The strips were rather dull, neither crispy nor attractive; tender, yes, but tasty. There are many ways to fry, everyone has their own, but generally you expect something crispy and tasty, lightly seared, those strips were not. The shrimp was shelled, and I don't like that either. You expose the heart of the crustacean to the extreme heat of the oil, while using the shell instead protects it, another questionable choice in my opinion. The flavor was good, but the texture was bordering on overcooked. The cod was cod; I don't know why it would be included in a mixed fry. Kudos to the homemade mayonnaise, but it was perfectly fine for a snack, since we're not at a fish and chips place. It was a bit disappointing, that's all. I was expecting something else. Ultimately, based on what I ate, I CAN'T SAY THE FOOD WAS BAD, ON THE CONTRARY. Maybe I'm just being a pain in the ass, but fried fish is something that deserves serious consideration, and I enjoyed it just fine. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. The overall 4 stars are precisely because we had a good time overall. We left feeling full and with a little extra cash left in our wallets, which doesn't hurt.

15/09/2025: Family-run seafood restaurant, managed with care and professionalism down to the smallest detail. I come often and have never been disappointed! I recommend the tagliolini with red shrimp or lobster, my absolute favorites. Excellent restaurant near Florence.

21/09/2025: After finding a bug hiding in my salad, I definitely won't be returning. Disgusting. At least the staff took the time to bring me another dish, but I declined. The photo speaks for itself; something like this should never happen. I can't imagine what other monsters might be lurking among the dishes in the kitchen...

19/09/2025: We enjoyed dining here twice in one week. The staff is very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The dishes are excellent, but the octopus stands out, cooked to perfection, making it incredibly tender and, above all, incredibly flavorful. The first courses are excellent, especially the culurgiones, while the desserts are outstanding, the seadas. The wine list features almost exclusively local wines, ideal for those like us who always prefer to try local products. The quality/price ratio is excellent, so we recommend this place for any occasion.

11/10/2025: Given the excellent reviews, we decided to come for dinner here. It was definitely a wonderful surprise. The place is very cute, well-kept, and clean. The atmosphere is familiar yet elegant and refined. All the dishes we tried were made with top-quality ingredients. The charcuterie boards were exquisite, and the Zola and walnut tortelloni were excellent. To finish, the desserts, also homemade, were delicious. The service was very attentive and willing to explain every ingredient in the various dishes. If you're looking for a good value, this is definitely the place for you. Highly recommended!

10/09/2025: We had dinner at this osteria on Saturday evening. We found it by chance, and it was a delightful discovery! The food was excellent, classic Piacenza dishes made with quality ingredients. The guy was super friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes to us. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

08/07/2025: I've had panzerotto at Ettore's, it's a school institution on the Navigli... the "classy" panzerotto is top-notch. And the owner's friendliness is one of the pluses of this small place. Everything is good.

12/10/2025: My family and I spent three days in this place immersed in wonderful nature, pampered by the owners who delighted us with a wonderful breakfast and excellent tortelli for dinner..... comfortable and clean apartment..... highly recommended

03/10/2025: A warm welcome awaits you, a secluded property surrounded by greenery, where you can relax in absolute silence. A large, simply furnished room with a shared bathroom, but always clean. Breakfast is served in your room and is excellent, varied, and plentiful. The owners are extremely kind and friendly, two young people who have made a healthy lifestyle choice. We wish them all the best, and we're certain that if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely visit again.

04/11/2025: Chinese food meets contemporary cuisine. Delicious dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients — flavorful, balanced, and beautifully presented. Some plates are on the spicy side, but absolutely worth the experience!

03/11/2025: Delicious food, carefully selected and prepared. In some dishes, you can even replace the meat with tofu, making it vegetarian-friendly. The tofu with peppers is simply indescribable. Highly recommended!
