12/03/2025: One of the taller female staff members were extremely rude and unpleasant who shouldn’t be anywhere near customer service, for example I asked for a slice of cheesecake and the reply I got was “Go away I’m on my phone”… she wasn’t taking a call she was just scrolling on her phone. Very u pleasant which is a shame as the decor is nice however very quiet probably due to her service. Unless you want to be treated badly I would avoid at all costs!

Cioccolata fuori prezzo e senza nessun tipo di gusto, il ciobar che mi faccio a casa è più buono.
Alla richiesta di stare fuori sui tavoli (messi da loro) ci è stata fatta una faccia schifata e scocciata.

23/01/2025: After a long skiing in the Cervinia-Zermatt-Valtournenche area, it is an immense pleasure to rest in this small refuge (much less touristy than those on the Cervinia side). We eat simple dishes from the local culture (the best polenta concia with porcini mushrooms in my life). Eating excellent polenta outdoors overlooking the Valtournenche valley is like nothing else. One of my favorite places... And I confirm it again even after 5 years
14/01/2025: Great location in the middle of the ski route. Great view and comfortable chairs.
The prices are very high for very small portions.
Pasta bolognese for 15 euros was a children's dish.
The polenta with the meat was excellent

25/02/2025: Das Igloo bietet eine gute Küche in der mittleren bis oberen Preisklasse an. Die Auswahl ist ebenfalls umfangreich. Mit den Ski fährt man direkt vor das Restaurant und geniesst eine schöne Mittagspause bei tollem Essen.
22/02/2025: Lunch at Igloo was the highlight of my Zermatt/Cervinia ski trip. The food was absolutely incredible and service unmatched. Sanja is the best! She found us a table for 10 during a very busy time, had EXCELLENT food recommendations (all handmade in-house) and the homemade berry grappa at the end of our meal was insanely good. Highly recommend the pasta of the day and the rigatoni pomodoro. Truly can’t recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back. Ask for Sanja!!

12/03/2025: The brasserie is a restaurant with an adjoining bar counter where excellent aperitifs are served. The food is decidedly Aosta Valley and of good quality.

25/03/2025: Very nice and well-kept environment.
The appetizer based on beef tartare was EXCELLENT, absolutely worth trying.
We then continued with typical dishes of the Aosta Valley cuisine such as Pierrad and bourguignon and both were very good.
The sore point was the dessert, tarte tarin not up to the level of the other dishes, it was basically just a layer of cooked apples without the cake underneath, it disappointed us a bit.
Good level of service despite a somewhat grumpy male waiter.
Overall a good experience.

19/01/2025: Went on our last evening skiing which was a Saturday. Decided not to book and we got a table at 7:15 but many people turned away so would book if yiu really want to try it out, especially if you’re a group as very small. It’s an old building inside with lots of character. Can sit at bar to drink. Staff friendly, service efficient. Food excellent. All main courses served with fresh grilled veg and salad. I had burger, which doesn’t come in a bun or with fries, and it was just delicious. My husband had pasta which is homemade and he said it was really nice. Would highly recommend.
16/01/2025: The steak was perfect. Unfortunately lamb chops were very fat and had specific smell. I left almost all meat in the plate, but for the owners it was not interesting to know what's wrong with the dish.

06/02/2025: Värsta jag varit med om. Beställde Linguinipastan från huvudrättsmenyn där det stod att det skulle vara ”Wagyi Beef” till pastan. När jag väl fick maten var den kanske fyra sandkorn av kött till pastan. Jag som älskar kött såg detta som en stor besvikelse. Ät inte denna rätten!! Personalen är också dryg och inte serviceminded!!!

La cena è stata fantastica.
Complimenti al personale gentile e premuroso.
Un locale sulle piste di Cervinia aperto sia a pranzo che a cena.
Lo consiglio vivamente.

07/02/2025: Great food and wine, very friendly staff. The outside terrace is hard to beat for a cold beer in the sun after a long day of skiing.

16/02/2025: We had no reservation but they managed to find us a table in the bar which was very cosy with a great atmosphere. Food was lovely and staff were attentive even though they were very busy. Price was fair

16/01/2025: Probably the best bar in Valt. Tasty food (sandwiches) at an affordable price. Very good drinks and cocktails. Extremely nice service. Affordable prices. And the atmosphere, the place filled with locals as well as employees of, for example, the ski station. Fun, loud, great.

27/01/2025: Quiet location with the possibility of being accompanied directly to the slopes, excellent cuisine on request also gluten-free, clean and comfortable rooms. Kind and very helpful staff.
19/01/2025: Excellent structure located a little outside the chaos of Valtournenche. For us who were looking for quiet and relaxation in the middle of nature, Pera Doussa was a wonderful discovery.
It is a farmhouse with a few rooms.
Excellent value for money (we paid 70 euros per person for half board).
Our room was clean and well furnished. En-suite bathroom.
Top dinner with typical Aosta Valley products.
Sweet breakfast with everything you need to start a day in the mountains well.
Absolutely recommended.

27/01/2025: Hotel a pochi passi dal l’impianto di risalita, in pieno centro…ottimo apres ski..e che dire, Mattea assolutamente una numero 1 , gentile disponibile e sempre sorridente! Staff giovane e capace! Non manca la musica !! Andateci !!
