24/05/2025: I ate at this restaurant twice. The first time I had a typical stew and polenta dish, delicious, my compliments to the chef. The second time I had a pizza with mushrooms and sausage. What can I say, one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. Dry, burnt edges, but above all made with mushrooms in oil and not fresh of very low quality, sausage and tomato with little flavor. What a disappointment. Both nights I ate with dogs next to me, it annoyed me. I do not recommend it and I would not go back.

01/05/2025: Unfortunately bad. 10min wait at the entrance and we had to ask to sit down for an aperitif. Once seated after 15 minutes no one showed up. So we had to ask them to bring us two spritzes. Arrived quite quickly. We were expecting at least two chips like the other tables. After another 15 minutes we ask to receive them too. But nothing. After an hour we left. I'm sorry but it was clear that there are series A customers and series B customers.

02/03/2025: We often come to this rustic and welcoming bistro restaurant and it is always a confirmation. Menu that combines some Aosta Valley dishes with more imaginative ones.

08/02/2025: Una piacevole scoperta immersa nella natura, il tempo sembra trascorrere a rilento cosí da permettere di approfittare di ogni momento e della quotidianità dell'agriturismo. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Il menu, vario ed abbondante, propone dei buoni piatti locali. Ottimo compromesso tra le comodità e il relax nella natura. Giovanni, con la sua discrezione, gentilezza e disponibilità riesce a mettere chiunque a proprio agio coinvolgendo nella quotidianità familiare dedita all'agriturismo. Ottimo weekend invernale in mezzo alla neve...sicuramente da provare anche nel periodo estivo.

27/01/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato per qualche giorno sulla neve, posizione tranquilla con possibilità di essere accompagnati direttamente sulle piste. Camere pulite, cucina ottima e disponibilità a preparare piatti senza glutine. Il personale molto disponibile.

30/04/2025: We were served a Vacherin expired since 6 days and when asked about it, were told it’s OK as it was stored in the cellar. We were also offered the option to change the dish to a Reblochonade as all Vacherin was from the same lot and thus, expired. The second Reblochonade was served showing us the expiry date on the package first, however without the wooden spatulas to serve it, leaving 4 people sharing 2 spatulas throughout the whole meal. Some of the heat protections placed on the cheese pan handles were worn out and so we had to use our napkins to hold them without burning our hands to serve the cheese. The service felt “with an attitude”, inattentive, absent and transactional. It felt as if our presence was “bothering”. We were never checked upon, engaged with and no extra word was offered outside of the bare minimum to take the order. No explanation offered for the various cold cuts served. The regular bread finished twice, no sight of the butter bread listed with the dish, the potatoes ran out, and so did the wine without any notice and without any offer for a refill. Coffee took forever to be served as the machine wasn’t working to warm the milk for a “macchiato caldo”. One person at the table who didn’t order coffee was never even asked for her order or offered anything else, and was simply ignored. The music was loud enough to cover our conversations at times. The toilets had no TP. The Reblochonade was good.

12/04/2025: The hotel that has it all. Ski in/out. Friendly staff who always make sure you have a good time. Good food and very nice environment. Been here twice now but would love to come back again!

07/04/2025: Dopo 5 minuti dall'ordine sono arrivati 1 spaghetto ai frutti di mare con spaghetti precotti, salsa di pomodoro abbondantissima 10 cozze ed una cicala ed 1 capasanta, 2 porzioni di carne di alce riscaldata ( 38 euro a porzione) 2 calici di vino da 11 euro, se volete essere spennati è il posto giusto, p.s.abbiamo chiesto due caffè al vetro e sono arrivati due bicchieri con in fondo qualcosa di incommentabile

09/03/2025: My visit to Chalet Etoile in Cervinia was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly welcome set the tone for an exceptional evening. The staff was attentive, and the service was smooth and efficient. Drinks arrived promptly, followed by the antipasto – Tagliere Valdostana. The selection was excellent, with the standout being the mustard jam, which added a unique and delightful twist to the flavors. For the main course, I had ravioli with reindeer ragù, accompanied by berries. This dish was simply outstanding—one of the best meals I have ever tasted. The combination of rich, savory ragù with the subtle sweetness of the berries created a perfect balance of flavors. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food quality exceeded all my expectations. A huge thank you for this wonderful experience—I can’t wait to return!.

19/04/2025: The pizzas generally were very nice, as was our starter and wine. However, the service wasn't particularly friendly by 3 members of staff nor attentive. They ordered the wrong pizza for me and did not offer to correct when I queried it, making me feel as though it was my mistake?! It felt a bit frantic overall and not a relaxing environment. However, the food was very nice, make sure you book though.

07/04/2025: Porzioni mastodontiche adatte per dopo una lunga sciata molta varietà di cibi locali e non cameriere molto preparato servizio impeccabile!!

25/04/2025: Veniamo tutti gli anni in questo ristorante ma questa volta purtroppo non è stata un’esperienza positiva per i seguenti motivi: 1. Nonostante la prenotazione in largo anticipo ci riservano il peggior tavolo della sala sotto il bancone. Chiediamo di spostarci e fortunatamente era disponibile un tavolo migliore al piano inferiore. 2. Il filetto di fassona che ricordavo molto buono, questa volta era molto duro a tal punto da aver lasciato alcuni pezzi. 3. Abbiamo chiesto un aceto balsamico ma ci è stato risposto che era terminato e non l’avevano riassortito perché “era la chiusura della stagione😳” 4. Il menù dei dolci sulla lavagna riportava numerosi dolci non disponibili perché “era la chiusura della stagione”, bastava semplicemente cancellarli dalla lavagna. 5. Il conto mi è sembrato più alto rispetto agli altri anni e riporta 3 ERRORI di prezzo che sono stati fatti presente al cameriere. Personalmente credo che anche trattandosi di fine stagione debbano garantire standard di qualità medio-alti rapportati a un conto per niente basso.

13/04/2025: People rave about this place and I can see why, they have an extensive menu, we were a party of 4 and tried the fondue, the polenta, the pear and walnut pasta and the burger and everything was excellent and presented decorated with beautiful flowers, looked good and tasted good! Plenty of options for vegetarians, portion sizes are big as well so easy to share. Can also be reached on foot without having to ski down, but is quite a climb up hill on the road.

11/07/2025: Ristorante composto da un'ampia sala. Servizio informale ma un po' impreciso con le cameriere che si fermavano a discutere negli angoli della sala. Menu con qualche piatto tipico. Quantità e qualità più che sufficienti. Conto adeguato.

18/06/2025: Centrally located. Free parking nearby. Unfortunately in mid-June the summer season has not yet started and therefore Cervinia is semi-deserted. Hotel needs maintenance. There is no air conditioning. Breakfast: good

15/06/2025: Nice location and courteous receptionist service. Breakfast needs to be completely revised and the room furnishings are mediocre despite the 4 stars
