05/11/2025: We're in Aosta's pedestrian zone. If you have time, take a stroll through the city's historic center first—it's worth it. Augusta Praetoria Salassorum boasts many Roman ruins still visible. Known as the "Rome of the Alps," due to its importance during the Roman Empire, it preserves the Arch of Augustus, the amphitheater, the theater, the city walls, and much more. The restaurant is welcoming, and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The ingredients are excellent, and the quality of the food is presented in an engaging and creative way, stimulating all the senses. Unfortunately, I'm teetotal, but those who drank wine appreciated the wine list, which offers a wide selection to satisfy every taste. Many bottles were displayed around the tables, both to enhance the dining room and to make decision-making easier! I highly recommend it; it's an experience worth repeating.

16/10/2025: What can I say... My favorite restaurant!! I've never found the attention to detail in the dishes, the hospitality, and the service you find at Stefenelli! The chef is an artist in the kitchen, and every time we go, we experience unique and exquisite dishes! Always impeccable service, a wonderful wine list! I think it has no equal in the Aosta Valley, and I compliment them because behind our satisfaction, there is certainly a lot of love, a lot of commitment, a lot of research, and passion! ❤️

12/11/2025: A simply unforgettable dinner at the Vecchio Ristoro Restaurant in Aosta. We chose the five-course menu with amuse bouche, pre-dessert, and wine pairing, and each dish was a small work of art: a perfect balance of technique, creativity, and the highlighting of Aosta Valley's finest ingredients. The service was impeccable—attentive but never intrusive—and the atmosphere in the old 17th-century mill made the experience even more special.

03/11/2025: We visited for lunch on a Friday in late October. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, able to speak Italian and French with the customers at various tables. Each dish has its own explanation and story, and guests learn every detail of the products they taste. We felt at home.

10/11/2025: The location is embellished by the Roman excavations outside. The industrial atmosphere is reminiscent of the adjacent brewery. From the dining room, you can see the beer silos. People come here primarily for the beer. The accompanying dishes are the perfect accompaniment... here, beer is the princess!

23/11/2025: The place is very welcoming, and the staff are all very kind and helpful. They have an excellent selection of local cured meats, and the stuffed potatoes are truly delicious and come in a wide variety. Highly recommended, and definitely a place to return to.

05/09/2025: It was wonderful to eat those burgers and fries. Definitely a must-try if you're in Aosta. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is very clean (including the bathrooms). I absolutely recommend it. I went with my family and had a great time.

04/09/2025: This restaurant has a small dining room on the ground floor and a larger one in the basement. Reservations are recommended, and the selection of carefully crafted sandwiches and top-quality products, as is the beer, is excellent.

10/10/2025: I didn't like the ambiance. Everything seemed very simple, and I didn't find it cozy. The tables are very close together, so there's no privacy at all. We didn't want to have a second glass of wine there. The food is excellent, the welcome was okay, but the waitress seemed so annoyed and unfriendly, completely untypical for Italy. No please, no thank you. It's a shame. There won't be a second visit.

07/10/2025: A “local” brasserie that word has got out to the rest of that it’s worth the drive/walk up the hill to try. We were staying close by (just a 4 min walk ) and tried our luck on a weekday without a reservation … they were fully booked!!! But, they managed to find us a spot provided we were done in an hour. The service was exactly what we expected - helpful, efficient and friendly. The food probably exceeded our expectations - beautiful taste, good servings and promptly served. Cheap table wine to wash our meal down did the trick. Highly recommended but also recommend you book!

14/11/2025: Despite the low season, by booking early, the host opened the farmhouse just for us (a group of eight). She looked after us with care and love throughout our stay. The atmosphere is familiar, meticulously maintained, and incredibly welcoming. Excellent local cuisine, all served with local wine. The set menu was so extensive that we were already full by the end of the appetizers. The price was more than fair. Highly recommended. ⛰️

14/11/2025: Highly recommended; if it were close to home, I'd go there weekly! Local products, thorough explanations, and a warm welcome. Local wines, not to be missed. My impression? It's exactly what I wanted, and even more!
