26/01/2025: Surprising and very pleasant. We discovered the establishment during a family meal on Saturday January 25. Warm welcome, delicate dishes and a well-stocked wine list. The chef is great and the room service is also very good, I recommend without hesitation 😋

04/01/2025: For being the first time we ate in a starred restaurant, the experience was more than positive. We particularly enjoyed the numerous tastings outside of our orders and all the flavors were intense and refined. The desserts are equally welcome, both those on the menu and the rest of the offerings. Excellent service as well as the environment. Highly recommended!

During our lunch, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism, and the staff proved to be extremely attentive even towards our little Federico, with small gestures that made the moment even more pleasant. The cuisine is simply extraordinary. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and reflects a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The starters are full of authentic flavours, the first courses delicious and the second courses impeccable in quality and presentation. The dessert crowned it all, leaving us with a satisfied smile. The environment is welcoming and well looked after, perfect for any occasion, from family lunches to special moments. Vecchio Ristoro is not only a place to eat well, but also where you can feel pampered. An obligatory stop for those looking for quality cuisine combined with excellent service.

26/01/2025: Ci hanno invitato degli amici e sinceramente prima di entrare ero un pochino scettica vedendo il locale da fuori. Ma sinceramente una volta entrata nonostante il locale non sia modernissimo siamo stati davvero bene. La cotoletta con nduja e stracciatella è favolosa. Proprietario simpatico e disponibile, la moglie un po’ meno 😬

20/01/2025: Siamo ritornati con piacere alla Rotonda per assaporare di nuovo le spettacolari milanesi. Abbiamo anche mangiato una costata fuori menù davvero eccezionale e un filetto al Blue TOP!! e che dire della pasta alla Vigliacca.. una sorpresa! I miei complimenti ai proprietari e allo staff sempre accoglienti e disponibili Evviva i ristoranti come questi, dove le persone aggiungono valore al menù Bravi👏

07/02/2025: Locale molto piccolo, raccolto, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato...ma non è così, anzi il menù è su comodi tablet e i calici di vino vengono serviti con un metodo particolare che preserva la qualità del prodotto in bottiglia. Il personale è molto preparato e appassionato nel raccontare la proposta del locale che è molto tipica ma anche ampia. Noi abbiamo scelto la bourguignonne, ottima la carne e anche le salsine. Ricercati e originali anche i dolci. Il prezzo è, a parer mio, un po' troppo caro per quello che si mangia ( la bourguignonne 30 euro, i dolci 9) ma è vero che la qualità ha un costo e indubbiamente ogni ingrediente è di grande qualità in questo posto, dunque ne vale la pena.

04/02/2025: Il locale, in centro ad Aosta, è molto grazioso ed accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e l’esperienza della bourguignonne al tavolo è stata fantastica. Ci sono anche taglieri di salumi e formaggi di pregio ed ottimi piatti a base di polenta e fonduta. Anche le crespelle ci sono piaciute molto. La spesa è in linea ed il servizio veloce è gentile. Tolgo una stella in modo convinto per la carta di credito come garanzia collaterale. Capisco la frustrazione di una classe di lavoratori che si trovano con molti bidoni tirati all’ultimo secondo, ma non penso sia questa la risposta. Se dovessi venire con la mia ragazza e qualche ora prima mi salisse la febbre, regalerei 70€ ad un ristorante perché sono malato.

08/02/2025: I never expected there to be any restaurant in the mountains that deals with fish. Fast service, good food and honest prices to recommend without any doubt.

09/02/2025: Small delicatessen where you can quickly eat a plate of fresh pasta. Friendly and quick in service, being a small restaurant you can't stay there for long so turnover is quite quick if it is full. Average prices of around €8/10, good portions and seasonings dosed just right, I would have liked an extra piece of butter and cheese in my pasta to make it less dry. The dishes also cooled down in a very short time, on a cold day it is definitely not a warming meal.

25/01/2025: Wonderful discovery thanks to reviews on Google. The gentleman at the sale is adorable. We ate very well at a low price and also bought lots of delicious gifts for the family. The olive oil sold is extraordinary. It's definitely worth stopping there.

09/02/2025: Even in the bedlam of the Sant'Orso fair, they were efficient and friendly, 4 stars for the food because on those days the menu is limited but always good, a slightly noisy youthful environment but the excellent beer 🍺....even in the Sant'Orso version...always excellent

04/02/2025: Even at midday, an excellent place to have lunch and drink one of their delicious craft beers. Dish of the day or from the periodic menu. After 7 years I confirm the review and the pleasure of stopping when I am in these parts.
