05/11/2025: We're in Aosta's pedestrian zone. If you have time, take a stroll through the city's historic center first—it's worth it. Augusta Praetoria Salassorum boasts many Roman ruins still visible. Known as the "Rome of the Alps," due to its importance during the Roman Empire, it preserves the Arch of Augustus, the amphitheater, the theater, the city walls, and much more. The restaurant is welcoming, and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The ingredients are excellent, and the quality of the food is presented in an engaging and creative way, stimulating all the senses. Unfortunately, I'm teetotal, but those who drank wine appreciated the wine list, which offers a wide selection to satisfy every taste. Many bottles were displayed around the tables, both to enhance the dining room and to make decision-making easier! I highly recommend it; it's an experience worth repeating.

16/10/2025: What can I say... My favorite restaurant!! I've never found the attention to detail in the dishes, the hospitality, and the service you find at Stefenelli! The chef is an artist in the kitchen, and every time we go, we experience unique and exquisite dishes! Always impeccable service, a wonderful wine list! I think it has no equal in the Aosta Valley, and I compliment them because behind our satisfaction, there is certainly a lot of love, a lot of commitment, a lot of research, and passion! ❤️

05/10/2025: The word that, in my opinion, best describes this restaurant is "a true gem," which anyone who appreciates excellent cuisine should discover. The dishes, beyond being exquisite, are exceptionally good; the ingredients are top-quality and expertly prepared. The sommelier is equally skilled as the chef, and the food and wine pairings are spot-on, bringing out the best in the dishes. It goes without saying that the quality of the wines is in keeping with the restaurant's quality. Add to this a chic yet unobtrusive atmosphere, a refined yet unpretentious ambience; in short, you feel at ease. Finally, my husband and I have dined at various Michelin-starred restaurants in and outside the Valley, and our conclusions are that it's hard, even for a Michelin-starred restaurant, to match this one. For us, it's by far the best in Aosta and, frankly, one of the best we've tried so far.

The service is unbeatable; they make you feel right at home. We had a splendid evening. Recommended is an understatement. Reservations are essential because it's small.

10/10/2025: I didn't like the ambiance. Everything seemed very simple, and I didn't find it cozy. The tables are very close together, so there's no privacy at all. We didn't want to have a second glass of wine there. The food is excellent, the welcome was okay, but the waitress seemed so annoyed and unfriendly, completely untypical for Italy. No please, no thank you. It's a shame. There won't be a second visit.

07/10/2025: A “local” brasserie that word has got out to the rest of that it’s worth the drive/walk up the hill to try. We were staying close by (just a 4 min walk ) and tried our luck on a weekday without a reservation … they were fully booked!!! But, they managed to find us a spot provided we were done in an hour. The service was exactly what we expected - helpful, efficient and friendly. The food probably exceeded our expectations - beautiful taste, good servings and promptly served. Cheap table wine to wash our meal down did the trick. Highly recommended but also recommend you book!

24/09/2025: I've been going to this place for years, more often lately because I work nearby. Alas, I won't be going there again. Lately, I've been treated badly, with the owner making us feel uncomfortable by taking away our unfinished dishes, rushing us to order. Yesterday, I found a hair in my food, and the waiter mocked me. Naturally, I paid the bill without even an apology from the owner. Furthermore, they now cook with margarine (a fact confirmed by the owner), and as you can imagine, the taste of the dishes I've always enjoyed is unpleasant. I'm sorry, but you've lost a longtime customer.

05/09/2025: It was wonderful to eat those burgers and fries. Definitely a must-try if you're in Aosta. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is very clean (including the bathrooms). I absolutely recommend it. I went with my family and had a great time.

04/09/2025: This restaurant has a small dining room on the ground floor and a larger one in the basement. Reservations are recommended, and the selection of carefully crafted sandwiches and top-quality products, as is the beer, is excellent.

10/10/2025: The menu promises more refinement than the dishes on the plates ultimately delivered...in our case, all three of them sounded better than they tasted. Some of the prices are relatively high, not overpriced, but expectations were simply high and weren't met. The service was either composed primarily of trainees that day or generally not on the ball and rather inattentive. You always had to wait a long time for someone or make a lot of noise before someone came to your table. The seating there is very nice and comfortable, though. The ambiance is very tasteful.

02/10/2025: We were here this evening, having been referred to us through an acquaintance. We had fondue and polenta from the Aosta Valley. Unfortunately, the flavors were a bit bland, probably due to the Fontina cheese not being aged for long enough. The waiter was very professional, but unfortunately, the chef should be in the kitchen instead of in the dining room, as happened at times, with an inappropriate attitude. The food was mediocre, prices average. I probably won't be back.

27/09/2025: I had dinner with my family and I have to say it's an excellent restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the dishes were excellent.

03/10/2025: We had lunch at Manuel's and had a wonderful time! The mushroom risotto was excellent and creamy, the cutlet with fries was perfect for the kids, and the homemade tiramisu was truly outstanding. Friendly staff, generous portions, and fair prices: highly recommended!

02/10/2025: Rustic trattoria just steps from the center of Aosta, where you can eat well and spend relatively little. Pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. Recommended!
