04/07/2025: Very nice place with ample parking and a small play area for children. The food is good and there are also gluten-free options! The staff depends: a couple of girls were very kind, another lady was quite nervous, but maybe it was the sultry heat. I think it's a nice place to bring friends who come from out of town, we will definitely be back

Perfect place to end the day at the waterfalls The price obviously varies depending on what you take and if you want you can stay within ten euros with a sandwich and drink.

08/06/2025: Well, this was the best ice cream I've had in a long time... and we've been on a road trip through Italy for a good week now. I don't understand the 4.1 stars. Friends, go to this shop and eat ice cream! :D This shop should have at least 4.8 stars. We came here on the recommendation of a local. Really, really good and very friendly. Just make sure you get the cone you like best. There are different types.

16/06/2025: Very nice place! They made us a sandwich upon request. The service was really friendly – all the ladies and the man behind the counter were very helpful. We even got a nice little snack and paid very little for all the food we received. The garden outside is beautiful. You can also order hot meals.

15/06/2025: In the summer the real restaurant in the village is closed and the meals are served in a beautiful garden not far away but not connected. In the garden there is no real kitchen and all the dishes are only heated or assembled behind a counter. In turns you see different people taking care of the dishes without a real chef. For this reason the summer menu is without express dishes and with very little choice. It's a real shame for the beautiful garden but don't expect a real restaurant. Prices definitely above average. If you want to go go because the food is not bad but unfortunately the choice of dishes is not wide.

10/06/2025: My wife and I stopped in here for lunch and met Alin, the owner. A most gracious host. Alin told us about the menu and which dishes came with homemade pasta, in what types of pasta that were not on the lunch menu. We started off with two Small Plates, appetizers. One was Fritto, a dish of fried calamari, shrimp, and lemon with red pepper flakes, accompanied by a side of Marana. The other was the bruschetta. Both were excellent! Distinct flavors, clean taste and were complimented by a white wine that we ordered at his recommendation. For our main dishes, my wife ordered the lasagna, outstanding! And I ordered the Bolognese with pappardelle, a homemade pasta instead of the spaghetti. Amazing flavors and texture. This was accompanied by a delightful red wine recommended by Alin. For dessert well we didn't have any because we were so full from our meal. Next time we will definitely save room for the tiramisu. As a no, we do not frequent Italian restaurants that often as we both love to cook and don't find them to be worthy of a visit. However, Baraonda Ristorante is not your typical Italian restaurant.
