28/08/2025: Excellent food, beautiful location, very friendly, polite, and approachable staff. The atmosphere is homey and very charming. The prices are just a little too high, exaggerated, and could be adjusted a bit more to reflect the fairness of the price and quantity of food. The soap in the bathroom was refilled several times, diluted so much that it was practically nonexistent, it had become water.

19/08/2025: Family-run trattoria run by friendly and courteous staff. The appetizer was adequate. The truffle tortelloni were very good, the best main course. The grilled food was very poor in both quality and quantity. The desserts were acceptable. The prices were somewhat exorbitant.

06/09/2025: On the recommendation of acquaintances, we dined here on a warm August evening. The location is wonderful, set on the shore of a small lake, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant and romantic; it feels like stepping back in time. The food didn't impress us; no dishes were noteworthy or particularly recommended.

05/09/2025: One of the very few restaurants where seafood, meat, and pizza are equally excellent! The attentive and welcoming owners are this restaurant's second strong point, after the excellent quality of the food. A very beautiful and unique location!

24/07/2025: While visiting the beautiful upper part of Spoleto, this pizzeria was recommended to me for lunch...and I wasn't disappointed. My first contact with the waiter didn't seem the best, but then his kindness and obvious know-how changed my mind. What's more, he served me an excellent pizza, carefully sliced! The prices are fair, and overall, I'd recommend the place. 👍🏻

02/09/2025: A café, pastry shop, and bakery, staffed by a single adult woman who served and cashed in, which I didn't like. The coffee was just for the purpose, but I was amazed by the savory, baked goods—typical Perugian delicacies, rich in calories, including cheese and walnuts. I didn't try the desserts; they looked inviting, and some kids were raving about how delicious they were, so those were definitely good, too. Oh, the place deserves a serious renovation, perhaps one that hasn't been done since the 1980s and 1990s, and I definitely recommend having some staff to serve.

23/08/2025: First review: The desserts are delicious and there's a wide selection. I think the only downside is that the place is often too crowded; I prefer it less crowded. Second review: The coffee/cappuccino spoon was dirty; it happened twice in a week. Even though the staff is friendly, the service can't be rated highly. In many cases, they're open even when other places are closed for summer or winter holidays, etc. As in the previous review, I found a wide selection of sweet and savory items. The bread is cheaper than in nearby supermarkets and is good. I recommend buying it here if you live nearby.

26/08/2025: Good tasted good enough. However, we sat outside the kitchen with window into kitchen own. EVERYTHING hot was microwaved which accounts the how quickly the food arrives.

23/08/2025: We had lunch in this magical, very welcoming place. The homemade pasta was delicious, the tomato sauce sublime. You could taste the love in the dishes. The owner was very friendly and genuine. It's true, sometimes a street vendor selling socks would come by, but that doesn't detract from the place's charm, much less the quality of the food and service. The coffee is also delicious and not at all predictable. Well done!

12/07/2025: The 4 stars are for the owner's thoughtfulness and friendliness. The inn could be better maintained, but it's still welcoming. It's perhaps a little basic, but it's fine for the type of trip.

27/07/2025: We chose this hotel for its location and cuisine. What more can we say? It's all been confirmed: a wonderful view of the Pian Grande (lentil fields and pristine mountains) and simple cuisine that showcases local produce. It's located on a wonderful road for us motorcyclists. The guys who run the hotel are passionate about it. Zoe is the real queen!

13/08/2025: Excellent home-cooked food in a beautiful setting of the hilltop village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina and overlooking the Umbrian hills. We ate here three times during a two-week stay in the area. The truffle pastas were excellent, so was the grilled lamb. It was a gift to have this place nearby!

29/07/2025: An excellent restaurant in one of Italy's most beautiful villages. Traditional Umbrian cuisine, with various mushroom and truffle-based dishes, is served. You can choose from two tasting menus or order à la carte, with a nice selection of dishes. The wine list offers a good selection, with reasonable prices. Overall, excellent value. The grilled lamb was top-notch! You can also eat outside, where you can admire both the magnificent hilly landscape and glimpses of the beautiful town.

26/08/2025: Osteria Fosca Umbra will be a regular stop! I didn't stay at the inn overnight, but I did visit it during a motorcycle tour. After a terrible experience in Rome a few days earlier, this stop made me reconnect with the restaurant scene. The (homemade) dishes were high-quality and affordable. The meal for two cost a little more than I'd spent three days earlier in Rome, but my taste buds were much more satisfied. The quality and deliciousness of the products served was truly unexpected. The selection of local wines at very reasonable prices is also excellent. The service is professional. If I lived nearby, I'd get a subscription...

25/08/2025: Excellent place both for sleeping with large and clean rooms and for eating excellent value for money is located in a strategic place near the most popular destinations Narni the Marmore Falls, the Mole di Stifone etc.....
