21/10/2025: We were in Orvieto around 3 weeks ago. There is a laundromat across from the Blue Bar. We started our laundry and headed over to get a drink while we waited on our laundry. Best decision ever! Anthony was wonderful and fun to be around. He also introduced us to several people who were there (some ex-pats, some locals, some tourists). We had a fabulous time chatting with folks, listening to music, and great drinks! We may have all been strangers but we quickly felt like friends. I can't wait to go back to Orvieto and visit Anthony at The Blue Bar!

15/10/2025: When I think of Orvieto, I don’t just think of truffle pasta or a glass of refreshing Orvieto Classico — I think of The Blue Bar, where we became instant locals and friends with people from all over at Anthony’s place. I think of laughing with strangers, walking down alleys lined with architecture worthy of a coffee table book. Orvieto — I hadn’t even heard your name a year ago, and now you wander through my mind (and my dreams) often. Cin cin. 🇮🇹💙🍷

26/07/2025: Very poor service, extremely long waits both to order and to eat. They're especially slow in clearing away dishes and bringing new ones, at least in my case. We waited an hour for pizza. The appetizer and pizza were good, but I'd personally change the management.

30/06/2025: As promised, it was a MUST to write this review for this hotel. Structure organized on 3 levels. In the lower area: breakfast room, lunch and dinner room, bathrooms attached to the rooms and a wonderful swimming pool which unfortunately we did not use; ground floor: reception and rooms; first floor rooms. We were a group of about 50 people who stayed overnight and lodged in this structure on a full board basis. We chose it because of its strategic position: it allowed us to be in Assisi in about 25 minutes and since we moved by bus, in the structures located more in the city center we would have had to pay the entrance fee for the vehicle, but in this case we did not have to. The staff was extremely kind: Mr. Paolo, the receptionist, was able to welcome and manage all our requests, for this I have to mention him in an exceptional way, because his service and his precision contributed to making our stay easy and efficient, thank you. The restaurant staff was also always welcoming and ready to manage all our requests. The food served was well cooked and reasonably good, judgement expressed in the quality-price ratio. The rooms all equipped with TV and very efficient air conditioning; the beds really comfortable, with the only complaint of the pillows (always) too thin in hotels, but now we have learned to ask for a few more. The cleanliness was visibly high, both in the common areas and in the rooms. I was not afraid to take a shower without slippers and that says it all. 06/10/2025: In its simplicity, not bad. I was skeptical about the pitted black olives on the capricciosa pizza; if you take a big bite, you'll break your teeth. On some nights, it's packed to the rafters; on weekends, I recommend booking.

03/10/2025: The restaurant is very beautiful and well-decorated. The atmosphere is warm and truly welcoming. The menu is varied, with a wide variety of choices. We decided to try both the pizza (very light and tasty) and the pasta dishes, and I must say, everything was delicious! Even though it was a Thursday, the place was packed, so I recommend making a reservation. We'll definitely be back!

10/09/2025: Beautiful place with friendly reception and provides amazing massages. The pool is a bonus for sunny days. Food is OK, rooms attractive but very hot, with thin walls to hear others talking in adjacent rooms, and the bed wakes you every time a bare movement is made due to loud creaking. Would I return? No, as the massages and pool alone isn't a big enough selling factor.
