Our group of men spent a wonderful afternoon here, received excellent and friendly service, and enjoyed great food and drinks. I would gladly return and can highly recommend this restaurant in its fantastic location.

We had dinner at the Sandgruberhof and immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious: My husband thoroughly enjoyed the venison goulash with dumplings, and my homemade pasta with Bolognese sauce was also very good. The view of the castle is a real highlight and perfectly rounded off the evening. Overall, a very pleasant and successful stay – we would love to come back!

100% Recommendation This beautiful restaurant with a fantastic beer garden is located a little off the beaten path. It's easily accessible on foot from Dorf Tirol and offers a stunning view. We arrived late and received a very warm welcome. The ambiance is unique, and the menu features typical local dishes. The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive; we felt comfortable from the very first minute. The food was outstanding—we had cheese dumplings and beef goulash, followed by Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, all fresh and homemade! We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Authentic South Tyrolean cuisine at fair prices.

Beautiful setting on the edge of the village of Tirolo. The portions are generous, and the food is delicious. The spare ribs were superb. The Kaiserschmarrn was a perfect ending. For us, the most beautiful restaurant in Tirolo.

Good service and delicious food. A reservation is recommended. In summer, you can sit on the lovely terrace and relax with a glass of wine or another drink. Inside, the decor is rustic and cozy.

The place and view are amazing! In addition when the weather is good, eating outside and making a small walk is nice! The food was ok, not as good as expected (the meat had a taste that we didn’t like…). The service was friendly but we waited quite a long time before to order and then before being served. It’s really a busy area where places are hard to have.
