18/01/2026: We arrived here for Sunday lunch without a reservation around 1:00 PM, and the place was packed. The staff, all very kind and attentive, still managed to get us a table after about a 20-minute wait. The food is traditional home cooking, with many homemade ingredients. Everything I ate was excellent, from the spinach ravioli to the apple fritters. Also noteworthy are the prices, which, for the area, are very reasonable. A must-visit if you're near Brixen.

08/12/2025: We discovered this agriturismo by chance; we went for dinner in the evening, and the typical Trentino atmosphere was already palpable upon arrival. The view from the parking lot overlooking the beautiful city of Bressanone; the menu is short but rich in traditional flavors. The dumplings are exquisite, as is the sauerkraut (both raw and cooked), which I'm not a fan of, but in this case I couldn't stop eating it, it was so delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and the quality/price ratio is excellent! 5 stars, well deserved.

04/01/2026: After many years, we returned to this wonderful restaurant, steeped in history, where attention to detail is still maintained and where everyone welcomes you with extreme kindness and, above all, a smile. We found the same elegant atmosphere and dishes that were more modern in presentation, yet still as delicious as we remembered. In particular, the dumplings with beef ragù and mountain cheese and the roasted Barbarie duck breast with braised carrot, mashed potatoes, and elderberry vinegar (photo) were truly exceptional! The space between the tables allows for good privacy and easy access for children and strollers. Finally, a truly rare bonus: each table has its own coat rack.

25/12/2025: The pizzas are standard in terms of price and taste—not bad, but nothing special either. You can't really complain about that. However, the prices are sometimes inexplicably high, while the quality/taste never justifies the price, sorry. The service is hit or miss. I can only speak from my own experience, and the place was usually empty when I went, yet the service was still poor. All in all, it seems like Trametsch is trying to act a bit extravagant, but it's just a standard pizza place, and actually one of the worse ones (if we're being honest). That was my personal, honest, and realistic opinion, based on my experiences. PS: Just because the rating is bad doesn't make it any less true. I never write reviews, but as a local, I had to say something.

The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast offers a good selection, and everything is fresh and delicious. Dinner is very innovative, interesting, beautifully presented, and extremely tasty. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

The service was pleasant, but didn't live up to the elegance and expectations created by the setting. The menu is minimal, and the recommended dishes were mediocre. The choice of fish was particularly disappointing: both the ingredients accompanying it and the cooking were poorly executed and decidedly unsatisfactory.

22/02/2026: As a native of Brixen, I always enjoy visiting the Alte Schlachthof (Old Slaughterhouse) when I'm back in my hometown. I previously gave it a 5-star review, as I've always been very impressed with this establishment – ​​see below. The food still meets my expectations, but unfortunately, the service has deteriorated significantly – 2 points deducted. Update: Yesterday around 5 p.m., I was at the bar and specifically asked for a freshly squeezed juice. I was recommended a carrot-apple-ginger juice. However, the juice I was served was noticeably brown with an unpleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. When I complained, I was told that the juice had been "freshly squeezed at noon" and that there was nothing unusual about the taste. This statement left me, as a customer, with a very unpleasant feeling – especially since my companion also tried the juice and, both visually and in terms of taste, it seemed that the product was no longer in good condition. Update: Furthermore, I could see out of the corner of my eye that the juice jug was sitting unrefrigerated on the counter. For context: Pressed apple juice oxidizes relatively quickly upon contact with air, which explains the browning. However, if juice is prepared several hours in advance and not kept refrigerated throughout, then in my opinion, it doesn't meet the standards of what a customer would expect from "freshly squeezed." In the worst-case scenario, this could even lead to gastrointestinal issues. It's a shame – I would have liked to see more transparency, a focus on quality, and a more sensitive approach to legitimate criticism. Two years ago: A true culinary experience! The beetroot risotto with salmon is an absolute highlight. What truly made the meal unforgettable was Alessandro's attentive service. His friendliness and courteous manner perfectly complemented the lunch. Many thanks to the entire team and especially to Alessandro for this excellent service!
