21/05/2026: Great atmosphere and incredibly delicious food! We had pasta and gnocchi and couldn't agree which tasted better. Simply fabulous. Both dishes had very subtle flavor nuances. The service was excellent. There was sometimes a queue outside, but they were usually able to find us a table quickly. If you arrive early, you'll be in luck. If you're planning a later meal (6:30 pm and after), a reservation will help you avoid the wait. We'll definitely be back for another meal! 👌

01/06/2026: We were there in April 2026. The campsite, which is a manageable size, was already quite busy. Reserving the really large pitches was no longer possible as early as March. The pitches were very shady and of moderate size. The staff at reception were very friendly. The sanitary facilities were well-maintained. The bus connections to Bolzano and Merano are excellent and free for campers. The restaurant is exceptionally good, but a bit pricey. Pizza to go is available.

26/06/2026: Great food and fast service. Also awesome that that have the adjacent gelato shop: grab sandwiches and a meat/cheese plate first, then finish with gelato. Or, you know, the other way around.

26/06/2026: Looking for a way to cool down, we stumbled upon Vögelino quite by chance – and ended up being pleasantly surprised. The absolute highlight for us was the Frozen Aperol. Especially on a hot summer day, it's a brilliant alternative to the classic Aperol Spritz: pleasantly refreshing, fruity, and not too sweet. Anyone visiting Bolzano should definitely try it. We were also impressed by the water-cooled fan in the outdoor area. It might sound like a small detail, but it makes a huge difference in the summer heat and ensures that you can sit outside comfortably. Special praise also goes to the young man in the hat who served us. Friendly, attentive, and with a charming South Tyrolean accent – ​​exactly the kind of service you hope for. We always felt welcome, without it seeming forced. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, perfect for a break during a stroll through the city or a leisurely aperitif in the evening. The whole package – drinks, service, and ambiance – is just right. We'll definitely come back – if only for the frozen Aperol.

21/05/2026: The place is very busy but we found a place pretty fast . The food was very good and we got it maybe after 10 minutes from the moment we ordered . It’s not much of a tourists friendly since they don’t have an English menu . Value for money is very good ! But still I do recommend this place !

18/05/2026: Excellent food and a great atmosphere tonight at Kampill. I went with three friends, all LGBTQ+. I asked a waiter if he could give me an extra sausage on my plate, but he couldn't; it seemed really absurd. I was forced to take the sausage from my friend.

07/06/2026: We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday evening and still managed to get a table quickly. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the wait for our food was pleasantly short. The food was excellent overall. We had the schnitzel, spinach ravioli, a side salad, panna cotta, and apple strudel. Everything was delicious and prepared with great care. The schnitzel, in particular, was the most delicious we've ever eaten – perfectly cooked and simply outstanding in flavor. We did deduct a point for the prices. While the quality was excellent, we found the overall price level a bit high. For example, we felt that over €6 for a wheat beer with cola was quite expensive. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant experience and would gladly return. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, high quality, and friendly service.

05/06/2026: Exquisitely prepared, authentic food in a beautiful setting with superb service. The accompanying holiday apartment is truly exceptional: spacious and generously equipped with every amenity, brand new, with high-quality furnishings, spotlessly clean, and then there's that magnificent view of the Schlern mountain! The friendliness and attentiveness of the hostess are reflected in every detail: from the hiking maps that were immediately provided, to the abundance of towels and dishes, and the availability of assistance at any time, to the helpfulness of everyone at Paulserhof, we can't find a single thing that needs changing.

23/06/2026: The fish stalls are a popular spot for a relaxed drink in Bolzano, and rightly so. The service was quick and friendly. Both the white wine spritzer and the Aperol Spritz were delicious. At around €5, the price was reasonable. The selection of classic drinks is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. The location in the alley is particularly charming. You can sit comfortably outside, watch the world go by, and simply soak up the atmosphere of the old town. Especially on sunny days, the bar invites you to linger. A generous portion of chips is served, and small snacks are available upon request. Overall, a very nice place for a relaxing aperitif in Bolzano.

Her great extroversion, always expressed naturally and professionally, creates a welcoming, pleasant, and relaxed atmosphere. She's one of those people who, with a smile and a friendly personality, make every customer feel immediately at ease and welcome. An added value that makes the place even more enjoyable. 07/07/2026: We went there twice within three days and were completely satisfied. Without a reservation, we quickly got a table for six. You sit outside under trees right in the heart of Bolzano. The waiters are very friendly and efficient. Drinks and food were served very quickly. The food was delicious both times, and the prices were perfectly reasonable.

06/07/2026: Pizzas were ok (the base could have been tastier but it was acceptable) but we found pastas unsatisfactory - we understand al dente but this was just too hard. The sauces were very middling, under impressed by the squid ink and seafood pastas. Not recommended. Spag bolo was ok. The Milanese pork chop was generous, the beet risotto pleasant.

16/07/2026: The selection of ingredients is truly fantastic. Fresh, aromatic, and with exciting combinations! The pizza was delicious, and the drinks menu, with its spritz variations, offers a welcome change from the standard beverages. The service was very personal, attentive, and professional. The seating area in a quiet alley is very pleasant.

08/07/2026: I was there for lunch on Monday with my daughter. I had a truly excellent eggplant parmigiana. The service was attentive and friendly. The place and outdoor space were lovely.

14/06/2026: From the outside, you wouldn't expect it, but inside you'll find a stylish, modern ambiance with a beautiful terrace. The service staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. We were very impressed with the food – we especially appreciated how they flexibly accommodated our vegan requests without prior notice and adjusted the menu accordingly. The menu is small but excellent, and the value for money is absolutely right. We'll definitely be back! 😊
