09/02/2025: Indian cuisine restaurant. As soon as you enter, you are struck by the strong smell of spices, which stays with you all day. Minimal environment, hygiene and cleanliness leave something to be desired. Decent food quality. Never again anyway

30/01/2025: A gem of a restaurant with incredibly kind staff! My friend and I visited last July and were unfortunately running late to our reservation - they held our table even as they were about to end lunch service which was beyond kind of them! Our food was delicious, honestly best pasta I've ever had - thank you! :)

06/01/2025: We went for dinner. Delicious dishes and fantastic wine, which are rightly paid for. Pleasant atmosphere, halfway between a restaurant and a refuge. The only note is that the wait staff was very cold and listless. But then again we went to eat and not to make friends. I recommend it.

16/02/2025: Good food and good meat, excellent pizza, really compliments. Fast and impeccable service for the environment it is, characteristic and without major pretensions. If I had to make a note, it really disturbs me to see, for example, that a dish of simple pasta with garlic, oil and chilli or pasta with tomato sauce has the same price as a Spaghetti alla pastora, just like all the first courses, there is no difference of price.

15/01/2025: Found this place on the internet and I was curious to try it. Unfortunately, booking places to eat in Bolzano in advance proved almost impossible for me, so we found ourselves in a long queue also because it was peak time and also on Sunday! To get there first and shorten the time, however, we asked if we could eat (since there were already other people there and we noticed some nice blankets to cover ourselves). Wide choice of dishes for all tastes. Our dishes were all delicious and presented very well. Right portions. Friendly, attentive service even if not very fast. In my opinion slightly expensive, but just a few euros. But I recommend it!

09/01/2025: I had a very good time in this restaurant. New flavors that I didn't know about and that struck me. The place is clean and the staff who served us were very courteous, they are originally from the country of origin of this cuisine and they propose it very well. For anyone who might have doubts, the next day I felt great. Reasonable prices, definitely money well spent. Recommended, I will be back soon.

29/12/2024: This is a hidden gem in Bolzano! Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Mango lassi was delicious as was the hot chai. Our table ordered a mix of dishes to share and had so much we took the rest back to our hotel. It was excellent the next day. Samosas were a treat!

12/01/2025: Let me start by saying that I gave 4 stars for the ambience, simply because I would like it to be bigger to spend pleasant and tasty moments in company, but in fact it is a very clean, welcoming and well-kept place. So I ordered 11 pizzas for home delivery ( dinner with friends) arrived very punctually, with a very kind guy and above all, as good as if we had tasted them on the spot!!! Owner very available to satisfy palates, needs, and any customer request always with a smile. Thank you very much Mino, you made our evening fantastic, see you next time!!!!!

18/02/2025: Dieses Restaurant war das Highlight in meinem Bozen-Urlaub. Nette Menschen, schöner Gastraum und das Essen richtig lecker. Ausgesuchte Speisen, sehr besonders. Aber auch die Pizza ist klasse. Ich wurde durchweg sehr nett bedient und war jedes Mal mehr als zufrieden. Ich kann einfach nur danke sagen!

06/02/2025: Yesterday I went out to eat alone on my business trip and was really happy with my decision. The pizza was very good, the beer was excellent and on top of that I was looked after by a young lady who was not only very professional, but also entertained the whole restaurant excellently with her positive and funny manner! Complement. Your colleagues who took over your shift later were also very courteous and friendly. I really enjoyed the evening! Highly recommended!!!

The staff is kind and friendly but not intrusive, the chef is humble and nice, every time I have dined here he has stopped by the tables at the end of the evening 🥰. The food is always a guarantee, with prices appropriate to the quality and portions that are absolutely not scarce. Attention to detail throughout. Promoted and re-passed with flying colours!

It is also about paying attention to nature and respecting the environment, e.g. the traditions in the region. It is also about letting the guests participate in it by introducing them carefully, without the need for rules. That is an art these days. This is crowned by a lavishly laid table, without waste and excess, but with the special composition of the dishes and the selection of ingredients. You will find all of this at the Gasthof Kohlern. Authenticity among the people who work there. Respectful interaction, lightness and relaxedness as a natural coexistence - guest and host. Exciting stories, integrated into nature. You don't want to leave there and yet it may be precisely the leaving that makes you look forward to the specialness of coming back. And every year there is something new to discover, selected with great care and love. Thank you for being there, dear Gasthof Kohlern team.

13/01/2025: The hotel to relax and recharge your batteries. Josef and his crew are really special. The last time we were there was 10 years ago. Now it worked again and we booked a room including half board over the Christmas period (December 23rd - December 26th, 2024). I summarize the hotel services as follows: 1. Hotel The house has a 125-year-old history. Josef spared no expense or effort to modernize everything. A living room with an adjoining open fireplace (wonderful), a restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains high above Bolzano, a top wellness department... The infinity pool and hot tub (open despite the cold and it was a show to be in there) A wine cellar, a seminar room (all very, very tastefully designed) 2. Massages A "must", the relaxing massage was a dream 3. Food & Service The absolutely highly professional kitchen surprised us every day with first-class dishes. We enjoyed every dish in the multi-stage episodes. The 4-6 courses were an explosion of enjoyment. It's really amazing what the kitchen does and the quality of the food that comes to the table. All, but absolutely all, of the service staff were professional, quick and absolutely friendly. Here I felt that the crew was behind Josef's concept. So it's really fun to be a guest 3rd room We had room number 6 on the 1st floor An ideal room for us with a balcony and the view over Bolzano was brilliant The cleaning was simply perfect... and we and our dog 🐶 "Oskar" felt really comfortable. Conclusion: The house was already great 10 years ago. Today Josef and his team have once again made a leap forward in terms of quality. I am personally pleased that there are still such first-class hotels with top-class cuisine and service. Celebrating Christmas with singing in the in-house chapel was something very special for us. We just say 'thank you' for this great time. This house made our Christmas 2024 perfect. We'll definitely be back💪

14/08/2024: It's not unreasonable to be one of the best campsites. All awards are fully justified. We had a lovely time. The restaurant and the service there can easily be compared to a very good restaurant, for example. E.g. in big cities it can keep up and surpass it. Excellent and we will be back soon.

14/08/2024: Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay at short notice. We were informed about local events and were left to decide whether we would still travel. Unfortunately it wasn't an option for us. Nevertheless, I would like to praise the positive transaction and the very nice and courteous service via email. This encouraged us to definitely book this campsite again the next time we go to Lake Garda. We hope that nothing comes up on the next attempt and would like to thank you very much for the positive experience you will remember.
