We went there twice within three days and were completely satisfied. Without a reservation, we quickly got a table for six. You sit outside under trees right in the heart of Bolzano. The waiters are very friendly and efficient. Drinks and food were served very quickly. The food was delicious both times, and the prices were perfectly reasonable.

Pizzas were ok (the base could have been tastier but it was acceptable) but we found pastas unsatisfactory - we understand al dente but this was just too hard. The sauces were very middling, under impressed by the squid ink and seafood pastas. Not recommended. Spag bolo was ok. The Milanese pork chop was generous, the beet risotto pleasant.

At first glance, it seems unassuming, located on a shopping street, but a small passage leads to a beautiful courtyard. Trees and awnings provide plenty of shade. The service is friendly and efficient. And the food is incredibly affordable for this location. Where else in such an attractive city can you get a pizza for under €10 these days? A real gem for a lunch break during a trip to Bolzano. I would recommend making a reservation or arriving early. We arrived around 12:20 pm and easily got a table for five. However, by 1 pm it was packed.

The food was very delicious and full of flavor. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed my meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Italy.

14/07/2026: They really do still exist! A top-notch restaurant with superb, first-class service. We discovered it by chance and haven't regretted it for a second. We were more than satisfied and will definitely be back.
