We had a fantastic evening. Everything came together perfectly: a breathtaking view of the mountains and valleys, absolutely delicious food, and last but not least, the warm hospitality of the host(s). All of this made us feel incredibly welcome as guests. We will definitely be back. P.S.: If you want to take a taxi up, it costs approximately €26 from Bolzano main train station.

A fantastic stop with the best Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta)!
We stopped at the Baumannhof during our tour and received a wonderfully warm welcome. The hut is a great place to visit! Our absolute highlight: They serve the most delicious Schlutzkrapfen ever. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Since the 1990s, we've been regular guests at the family-run, rustic Baumann wine tavern and are always delighted. The traditional South Tyrolean cuisine, prepared by the ever-friendly, warm, and communicative Mali, is highly recommended; the wine is delicious, and the view is breathtaking.
It's great that they also offer rooms, which makes the convivial Törggelen (wine and chestnut festival) much easier. For us, it's a must-visit in South Tyrol!

The food at Baumannhof is always worth a visit! Extremely delicious South Tyrolean cuisine and a very friendly and attentive Mali (the chef) and her team! We'll be back!

We went to Baumannhof on a recommendation. How can I put it? The food and dessert deserve 10 out of 10.
We drove 40 km especially for it. After that meal, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Thank you so much for the food and drinks. The Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) and the bacon dumpling with coleslaw yesterday were excellent, especially with the house white wine.
After my hike from Wolfsgruben (inspired by the driver of the Ritten narrow-gauge railway), it was the perfect refreshment.
Everyone here is exceptionally nice.
I should also mention the friendly greeting from the farm's own sheepdog.

A wonderful wine tavern with a fantastic view and excellent food. We paid €73 for two half-liter glasses of Pinot Blanc, a liter of sparkling water, a large pot of coleslaw, two small Schlutzkrapfen (excellent!), three cheese dumplings, three beetroot dumplings, one bacon dumpling, and a coffee. The Schlutzkrapfen were simply divine, and the dumplings were to die for. The owners are incredibly attentive and friendly! Everything is homemade. We highly recommend it. Parking is available in the relatively small parking lot in front. There are seats in both sun and shade! At the end, we were even given a complimentary schnapps and will definitely be back.
