19/07/2025: Ottimo ristorante a conduzione familiare. Cibo ottimo!!!!! servizio attento e cordiale. Abbiamo pranzato sulla terrazza all'aperto dove i nostri bambini hanno giocato nella casetta e con i giochi a disposizione così noi adulti abbiamo avuto la possibilità di poter stare a tavola tranquilli e al contempo tenerli sott'occhio. Torneremo!

12/07/2025: Non so come era prima ma io ho cenato con la nuova gestione (luglio 2025 ) tutto buonissimo e secondo me miglior rapporto qualità prezzo in Val Gardena. Sublime..., worth trying, best value for money.

03/09/2025: An unforgettable experience – the staff was super friendly (including a zither game and group music in the living room); the food was delicious, and the view was indescribable! We'd love to come back – the climb is a bit long, but easily doable in 1.5 hours.

18/08/2025: It's a bit of a strenuous hike up there, but it's worth it. Great juices, drinks, cakes, and food. And all at a really great price. The owners are really nice and friendly. The trip is worth it!

16/08/2025: ... a stunningly scenic alpine pasture that boasts a large lake! We chose the steep yet somewhat strenuous climb from the Obersthöfe farms to descend via the Hahnenkamm and Pfitzschkopf, enjoying magnificent views of the Passeier Valley, including Merano and the mountains we're familiar with. The young Schaffler family and their helpers await you at the 2,160-meter-high alpine pasture. They serve delicious food and great drinks at reasonable prices. You can also watch the hustle and bustle of happy, free-roaming cows, goats, pigs, and chickens! The homemade alpine cheese, which is available in various varieties, is also highly recommended. We will definitely be back and say: Thank you so much! The Richter family 😎

23/08/2025: Unfortunately, one of the worst chalets/huts/cabins we've ever stayed at. Extremely expensive compared to the others, €6.50 for a slice of cake when the market is €5-€5.50. All this is made worse by the lack of service: you walk in, pay at the counter, and take it out yourself. So, high prices and zero service give me a low rating. Plus, being the only one on the "Animated Mountain," it'll always have a crowd of people/tourists.

23/08/2025: Clean, warm, and quaint atmosphere. An excellent place to stop after a hike in the area, where you can enjoy a delicious slice of strudel with a coffee, as well as a wide selection of traditional local dishes. The wait staff is professional and quick to handle orders.

27/07/2025: Functional for a few days, but the rooms need updating. Just a few weeks before our vacation, my partner and I were looking for affordable accommodation near Riva. The Hotel Rudy is located about 2 kilometers north of the city center. We walked there almost every evening to enjoy a (really delicious) meal. When we arrived, we tried to check in about two hours before the stated check-in time. The friendly staff member made sure our room was cleaned with priority, and we only had to wait half an hour. Our room on the second floor was easily accessible by both the elevator and the (fairly narrow) stairs. The door was a bit awkward to open, and the room key was very old-school (no card or anything like that) and clunky. The room opened onto two balconies, from which we had a direct view of the main street. One room had two seats and a small table, but unfortunately, due to the very bad weather for the end of July, we couldn't make use of them. The furnishings and fittings are a bit dated and very worn. The bathroom, especially the shower, is very small and difficult to use even for slim people. The bathroom door (see photo) had disgusting stains, and I didn't even want to know where they came from. The beds were quite deep, but functional. The biggest drawback for us was actually the very thin and thin walls. Combined with "great" neighbors who don't know how to sleep well at night, last night was a complete nightmare. The street noise is also quite loud; if you're sensitive to this, you should ask for another room. We visited the pool twice. It's beautifully quiet, large enough for cooling off, and offers sunbathing space for around 25 hotel guests. If the weather is good and you don't necessarily want to swim laps, it's perfectly adequate. The breakfast was delicious throughout our entire vacation, the selection was absolutely sufficient, and there was always something to suit everyone. I think everyone will find something to their liking here. We didn't use the hotel restaurant during our stay. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a short trip to Lake Garda (with a few reservations). However, there are certainly more modern options available at a comparable price.

18/07/2025: Very friendly staff 👍 Cozy pool area Great breakfast. We stayed there for 7 days. It's a 5-minute bike ride to the center of Riva del Garda. The only downside is the bathroom, which was unfortunately too small.

21/08/2025: I found this restaurant in the Gallo Rosso guide and it was a pleasant surprise. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. We went on a Thursday evening and were practically the only ones dining, so the service was very fast. The food was truly excellent, especially the dumplings and strudel. I highly recommend it!

20/06/2025: This is my third time here, and it won't be my last. A lovely little hotel with excellent service, beautiful rooms, and excellent food. I highly recommend the barbecue evening.

08/06/2025: A small hotel in a very beautiful location. The rooms are modern and comfortably furnished. The bathroom was very nice and large. From the balcony, we had a fantastic view of the Latemar. The hotel is located at an altitude of almost 1,400 meters. The breakfast was good. I definitely recommend half board. There's a salad buffet every evening, followed by a fantastic four-course meal. The food was always excellent and very varied. There's always a vegetarian option available. The small garden is very well-kept. There's also a charging station for electric cars. We were extremely satisfied.

30/08/2025: A fantastic hotel! All the dishes were freshly cooked by the chef and were very tasty and attractively presented. We were pleasantly surprised by the drink prices. The staff (room service, waiters, breakfast service) were always friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel.

08/09/2025: I can only comment on the restaurant. Service was slow due to lack of staff. The dessert arrived after over an hour of waiting (they'd forgotten about it), and I had to fight off flies. This was inside the restaurant, I can't imagine it outside!

09/08/2025: It's a wonderful farmhouse overlooking Predazzo from the foothills, with a panoramic view! The food and hospitality reflect the kindness and professionalism of the family that runs it. It's a historic place, represented by the third generation, with passion and dedication to every detail. I will definitely return. I highly recommend it.

25/08/2025: Terrible experience. I sat down for an aperitif, and the glasses left by previous customers remained on the table for several minutes, with no one bothering to clear the table. After politely asking me to move to the next table (so as not to be left in the shade), the grumpy waiter entered the restaurant to call the head waiter. The latter arrived with an arrogant attitude and, instead of obliging me, made me understand that asking to move was downright disrespectful to the person who had just cleared the table. A ridiculous excuse, demonstrating zero professionalism and zero customer care. At that point, I left without ordering anything. This place is definitely to be avoided: rudeness and arrogance reign supreme.
