12/08/2024: We were passing through and stopped for a quick first course and side dish. I'm sorry to say but the food was really poor, even in the salad the tomatoes had a slightly acidic taste as if they had been kept out in the heat for hours.

21/08/2024: Nice and refined environment. Great wine list and excellent food. Don't miss dumplings and tartare (wide choice). Friendly and professional staff. Better to park near the Mart (museum) and continue on foot for a few minutes. Recommended food and wine experience!

14/08/2024: Restaurant is beautifully located. Unfortunately, other guests were brought forward and our food was forgotten. This can happen in the rush, but we know that you can excuse it with a drink if necessary. We have eaten the Kaiserschmarrn better, it was very fatty. The waitress wanted to clear the plates even though people were still eating. Bzw always asked if it could be cleared away or reached across the table/over other plates to clear away quickly. This created an unnecessary rush. The toilets urgently need to be renovated, broken mirrors etc. don't fit with the rest of the ambience. Too bad.

14/08/2024: One of the most beautiful terraces in South Tyrol, under the vines with a view over the entire valley. At the end of the Marlinger Waalweg, an absolute highlight!

15/08/2024: Malga reachable via a forest road (with a fair slope and a flatter end; passable, with difficulty, with a mountain stroller) or via a path in the woods. Both partly in the sun and partly in the shade. If you have to choose, I recommend the forest uphill (1.5 hours from the Stein car park, with children) and the forest road downhill. Nice view along the road (you can also see the waterfalls) and from the mountain hut. Not many dishes on the menu but then there are the dishes of the day on the blackboard. Water also available in a carafe for €2.50!! Courteous girls and fast service. Some games for the children. Bathroom outside but clean and the right size. Attention: NO ATM/CARD - CASH ONLY

23/08/2024: I can't rate the room, we were only there to eat. We spent 2 lovely evenings at Oberlechner. The food is delicious and the service is super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is calm and not hectic. Not to forget the view over Merano. Top restaurant. We'll be back.

30/08/2024: The bar offers a wide choice of pastry products, always very popular with locals as well as tourists. Also excellent for quick lunches. Staff always very friendly and helpful. I've been going there for years when I'm on holiday!

29/08/2024: Excellent artisan pastry shop for simple but delicious breakfasts. I haven't tried the sandwiches but third-party comments speak highly of them.

28/08/2024: A friendly service. The first sobering moment came with the buttermilk. Thin and significantly too expensive compared to other alpine pastures. The Kaiserschmarrn made up for everything >>> outstanding.

26/08/2024: Stop for lunch. Good food, bring a skimpy one, usually for 12 euros any mountain hut offered us 3 dumplings in this one only 2 plus salad already seasoned with vinegar which made the flavor of the dumplings very acrid. Ask for caffe latte and they bring cappuccino. Prices a little high. Panorama is undoubtedly their strong point, sensational.

27/08/2024: I have to agree with the comments on the disorganization of the place. Few tables and all in the sun, so a long queue to eat. In the end we opted for sandwiches, luckily the service was fast. Beautiful view of the Pale di San Martino.

27/08/2024: Excellent mountain hut in the Paneveggio park, easily accessible even with strollers. Cozy atmosphere and fantastic polenta made in the traditional way with mountain cheeses, sausage and mushrooms.

14/08/2024: Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay at short notice. We were informed about local events and were left to decide whether we would still travel. Unfortunately it wasn't an option for us. Nevertheless, I would like to praise the positive transaction and the very nice and courteous service via email. This encouraged us to definitely book this campsite again the next time we go to Lake Garda. We hope that nothing comes up on the next attempt and would like to thank you very much for the positive experience you will remember.

14/08/2024: It's not unreasonable to be one of the best campsites. All awards are fully justified. We had a lovely time. The restaurant and the service there can easily be compared to a very good restaurant, for example. E.g. in big cities it can keep up and surpass it. Excellent and we will be back soon.
